"Good morning Lauren." 

"Good morning mum." I greeted my mother taking a sit to eat my breakfast which consisted of chocolate chip pancakes and a glass of orange juice. I ate my meal quickly before taking my backpack and my car keys. The warm air of California tickled my skin when I exited the house, it was the first day of school and I'm so excited to be a senior this year.

I drove to the place I call hell (aka school), and parked my car in the parking lot. I grabbed my stuff then I exited my car locking it. I entered the building and the halls were crowded. Everyone was chatting and catching up, but, I am not interested in listening to how Calum Hood hooked up with Ashley Cole in the summer camp, or how was Madison Blue's trip to Spain, or even why Ashton Irwin broke up with his girlfriend. High school gossips are my least favorite things to listen to. 

I went straight to my locker, to tidy it up, then, when the bell rang, I grabbed my notebook and books to go to Math class. I entered the noisy class and sat in the middle of the room. I opened my phone and scrolled through my instagram. 

"Hey buttercup." I lifted my head up of my phone to see my best friend Kenzie, I haven't seen her all the summer, because she went to visit her grandma in Canada. "I missed you Kenzie. How are you?" I hugged her and she took a seat next to me. "I'm fine, Canada was nice." She admitted. "Any cute guys?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows, she blushed avoiding my sight. "Well, yeah. But, it's no big deal, trust me." 

We dropped the subject when the popular maths teacher opened the door. He put his things on the desk before speaking. "Good morning class, I hope that you had an amazing summer so far, well, I am Mr Hamilton, your maths teacher this year." 

"Missed you Mr, I saw you in Orlando this summer. Was that hot chick your girlfriend?" I heard someone talking behind us and I assumed it was Calum. He is so popular, but, also such an asshole. He tried hooking up with me two times last year. All what he cares about is sex and attention. 

"Are you jealous because an old man got a hot woman as a girlfriend?" He grinned challenging Calum, I swear this man is so weird. One moment he's yelling at him and the second he's joking like they are the closest friends. 

"God dammit Irwin, go get your hair cut. Your head looks like a bird nest." He huffed turning around to clean the board. Ashton chuckled continuing to chat with Calum as if they weren't supposed to be quiet. 

In the middle of the hour, the principal came to the class, dragging a tall blonde boy behind him. Everyone was silent eyeing the new kid. I felt bad for him, because he was so uncomfortable. "Morning everyone, this is Luke Hemmings, he's new here. Make him feel welcomed." 

"Dude, take a seat behind these two inseparable girls." He ordered referring to us and I rolled my eyes at how annoying he is.  "He's cute isn't he?" Kenzie whispered keeping her eyes on the tall boy. I shrugged continuing to copy what was written on the board. 

The new dude, who his name was Luke, took a seat behind us, and Kenzie took the opportunity to introduce herself. She's so sociable and always up for new meetings. "I'm Kenzie, and this is my bestie Lauren." She elbowed me to say hi. I turned my head to flash him a smile. "Hey, nice to meet you." He smiled back reaching for my hand to shake. "Nice meeting you too, Lauren." He has dimples, and a beautiful smile. He also has a lip ring and was wearing a Blink-182 t-shirt. I made a mental note to ask him if he likes All Time Low and Arctic Monkeys, my two favorite bands. I guess, he's not bad after all.

First period passed in a blink of an eye, maybe, because the teacher kept teasing the players of my school and also, explaining the new methods, I focused on that rather than day dreaming. I exited the class room with Kenzie by my side, she was talking non stop about Luke and it pissing me off. "He's Australian Laur, he said that he moved here, because his mother got a job, she's a math teacher. He's lucky as fuck." I rolled my eyes, opening the door for Art class.

We took a seat in the last desk in the room, and I grabbed my phone to occupy myself, but, I was interrupted by, Mr look-at-me-i-am-hot, as known as, Calum Hood. 

"Hello ladies, how was your summer?" He asked taking a seat on my table. Kenzie kept her attention on her phone, because, she hates him more than I do. He cheated on her two years ago when they were dating. Until now, I can't understand why she accepted to date him but oh well.

"Not as bad as yours, I believe." I replied eyeing him up and down, I don't wanna be rude to anyone else but I have my reasons to be rude to these people. He smiled a very kinky smile that made me want to puke right there. "I don't think my summer was bad, the summer camp was so much fun, you missed it." The summer camp is an event organized by our school in July, it consisted of few activities by the lake in the woods. I went the summer before this one but this time Kenzie was in Canada and I couldn't go alone.

"Well, skinny dipping and strip poker are my very least favorite things to do in the summer, so, I don't think I missed it, like you said." He kept that smirk plastered on his face, he's disgusting. 

"When are you letting me give you the best night of your life?" He asked passing his hand though his dark hair. "Probably while dreaming." I replied smirking sarcastically. 

"I'll get you, Keller, sooner or later." He murmured reaching for a wide strand of my hair, I slapped his hand away of my face. "Don't touch me, I wanna stay clean." He smirked before pulling himself off my desk, to go sit next to his friend Ashton. Ashton Irwin, who once, I called him my best friend. He was my only friend until middle school, when he decided to ignore me to join the assholes club. 

"I wanna fucking punch him in the balls." Kenzie said when Calum was far from us. "Trust me, me too." I sighed and took a pencil out of my bag to start drawing until the end of the hour. It's not like I was interested in the project the teacher was talking about during the whole hour. 

Lunch period came quickly after two hours, I sat in a small table with Kenzie and I unwrapped my panini taking a bite of it. Kenzie sipped in her coke eyeing who entered and exited the canteen. I saw Calum Hood and his group taking their seats on their special table, and Luke, the new guy, was behind them. Of course, they made him join the club. 

"Kenzie, your friendship with the aussie dude is ruined, it looks like he joined the assholes club." I commented. "No way, but, he's a nice guy though." 

Then, Ashley Cole and Madison Blue entered the canteen too, they are cousins and we call them bitch number 1 and bitch number 2. They are rich, beautiful and hot. But, they have a very bad reputation, they hooked up with all of the guys from this school, and last year, a senior leaked Ashley's nudes. It was bad but she deserved it.

I finished my panini and stood up to throw the empty package in the garbage can, when, Calum stopped me in my way. "What do you want?" I said in an annoyed tone. He smirked eyeing me up and down. "You."  He sing-song while his friends blasted in laughter, I rolled my eyes sighing. "Come on Laur, I know you want me too." I felt my cheeks heat up with anger, and my blood boiling in my veins, he's driving me insane. I slammed the tray on their table causing both Ashley and Luke to jump in their seats. 

"Don't 'Laur' me okay? I'm not your friend neither your sex slave. I don't want anything from you, leave me the fuck alone." I said raising my voice, I'm done with him. 

"Hey mate, leave her alone. It's not a joke anymore." Ashton said out of no where and I looked at him in disbelief. Is he being serious? I glared at him, then, took my tray before continuing my path to the trash can. 

A hand reached for my arm turning me around, it was Ashton's. I threw the wrap in the garbage can, then, I crossed my arms over my chest looking at him. He adjusted the red bandana over his head before speaking up. "Don't listen to him okay? He's just playing around." I gasped, I think I am dreaming. "Why do you care? Why all of a sudden you're defending me?" I said raising my voice lightly. 

"Because, I wanted to." He replied and I laughed a very fake laugh. "You are the one who ignored me to join the assholes club." 

"Well.." I interrupted him continuing what I wanted to say. "You did ignore me, because, you wanted attention and you couldn't have it because you were friends with me. I am not pretty neither popular, you choose them over me, but you know what Ashton? I don't need you, I don't need a fucking boy like you in my life. I hate you okay?" I yelled throwing my hands in the air. I felt a single tear on my cheek, I pushed him out of my path refusing to let him argue back. This story is so sensitive for me so I become so emotional when I brought it up.

"Hey Laur, are you okay?" Kenzie asked in a worried tone once I was back to our table. "No." I mumbled taking my bag to exit the hall that gave me breathing problems from then.

Hiii welcome to my new story 

I used to write french fanfictions but now I want to experience writing in english and I got this idea which will be very confusing and full of feels and actions (yeaah). This story is revolved around one band member secretly and you'll figure out who in the end.
