"I want the exercises ready by Monday or else don't bother to come, I won't accept anyone!" Mr Hamilton warned pointing his finger at us. Everyone groaned in their seats because half of the school is invited to Madison's party tonight and none will find the time to do twenty algebra assignments. 

"I guess I'll skip school Monday." Calum laughed gathering his pens and notebooks. I laughed along gathering up my things too, putting them in my bag. I said good-bye to him and joined Kenzie in the front, I waited for her until she finished gathering up her stuff. 

"You're coming tonight right?" I asked as we left the classroom walking through the hallway. "Yep, they're going to Montreal again because they have some family issues, so Cam went to his friend's house and I'm gonna stay at yours. Mom trusts Kimberly." 

"We're going to have the house for ourselves. Mom suggested to take Ellie to my grandma's and spend the weekend." 

"Oh my God, yes! We can have a sleepover all of us!" We bumped our fists together before we met up with Skylar and Melissa. Luke and the other guys were there too, I kissed Luke and I could see Ashton keeping his gaze on us the whole time. 

"I can't wait for tonight, I wanna dance with you so bad." He murmured against my cheek and I giggled pulling myself away from him because his warm breath tickling me. "I can't wait too silly." I intertwined our fingers with Kenzie following behind me along with Mikey. I didn't glance once at Ashton, he disgusts me even more. 

"I drop you off Lulu?" He nodded kissing my cheek, we said our 'see ya's to the rest of the group before climbing in my car. Luke in the passenger seat, Mikey and Kenzie in the back. After dropping them off, we went home both Kenzie and I. 

We ate some leftover Lasagna and watched some Youtube videos before starting to get ready. I took a shower and straightened my hair. I started my makeup while Kenzie was taking care of her hair. I applied some foundation, concealer and powder, before working on contouring my face. I really was looking forward to look so hot for the party. I wanna make Luke feel extremely lucky to have me. I worked on my winged eyeliner, and eye shadow, plus, I coated my lashes with mascara. I opted for a good lip color before moving to my outfit. 

I wore a short black skater skirt with a maroon cropped lace top and black heeled chunky shoes. I added a choker and bunch of bracelets. My outfit was simple but really suitable for a party like Madison's. 

"Kenz! Are you ready yet?" I asked knocking on my bathroom door, she takes forever and we're going to be so late. Luke has been calling me non stop and I ignored him. "I'm putting on my shoes, one second!" 

I sprayed some perfume and grabbed my clutch. She got out of the bathroom looking bomb as fuck. She had her hair pinned back in a high ponytail with a black sleeveless cropped top with a turtle neck, along with black high-waisted shorts and finally, dark green Dr Martens. She didn't want to wear heels because she's really tall. She's gorgeous anyway. 

We parked my car few blocks away from the house and we got out of the car walking to the extremely packed mansion. I spotted Luke near the outdoor bar drinking beer with Michael already, I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. 

"Oh the beauty queen is here." I giggled kissing him on the lips, tasting the beer through the kiss. I grabbed a drink. "Wow, you both look bomb ass tonight." Mikey complimented wrapping his arm around Kenzie's waist. I thanked him before the music started loudly and everyone cheered jumping in the dance floor. 

"Your man on the road, he's doing promo. You said keep our business on the low, low." I mouthed swaying my hips to the beat, walking closer to Luke. He smirked tugging at his lip ring before forcing me against his chest, his arm tight around my waist. 

"I'm tryna get you out the friend zone, cause you look even better than the photos." He continued for me and I closed my eyes doing my own dance. I felt his wet lips on my cheek and his fingers dig into the exposed skin between my skirt and top. I opened my eyes and our gazes met immediately. I smirked wetting my lips and wrapped my arms around his neck, moving my hips to the beat crushing down a little bit and getting back up giggling as I stepped back continuing my interesting dance. I don't know how I became this good at dancing. Luke smirked and brought me back against him, his lips immediately attacking my jaw and I couldn't stop dancing. The remix was addicting. 

When the song ended, I was breathless so, I got back to the bar and grabbed a cold beer bottle from the cooler. I chugged down a little bit before I found Skylar and Melissa inside, I guess Kenzie is with Michael somewhere doing it. I know her too well. I chatted a bit with bunch of girls from school, we danced, took a lot of pictures and did a lot of dares. I didn't see the time until it was nearly two in the morning. I haven't seen Luke since our dance when I first got here. 

"Where's your cutie?" Melissa asked, a drunk giggle following her question. She was really tipsy. I shrugged but I decided to go see him. I spotted Madison's blonde hair few feet far from the pool and everyone was there even Kenzie. Skylar linked her arm with mine and we stumbled there. I wasn't really drunk, I'm just hyper. 

"Hi guys." I greeted everyone and my eyes met Luke's but he looked away immediately. Everyone nodded without saying anything. I furrowed my eyebrows and even Kenzie was silent with an apologetic look on her face. This is really strange. 

"Gonna grab something to drink." Luke said lowly before standing up disappearing in the sea of people. With a worried look on my face, I followed him. "Luke!" I yelled trying to catch his attention. I don't know what's wrong, I left him completely okay few hours ago. I hurried and grabbed his arm stopping him. He yanked my arm away making me step back completely offended. 

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" 

"What? I said I'm going to grab a drink, why are you following me?" He asked completely neutral and cold. I'm definitely going insane. "Because you're being weird." 

"Am I?" I can't believe this. What if I did something wrong? He was sitting with Ashton there. Maybe he told him something odd about me? But I haven't done anything. "Luke, what has gotten to you?"

"Can you please move and stop harassing me?" 

"Harassing you?! Luke, what's wrong?" I don't get it. Why he's being so rude? I swear, I feel like I'm in some kind of a bitter nightmare and I'm waiting to wake up. His eyes are so cold and intense, it's not like the same Luke, I fell in love with. 

"I'm sorry Lauren but we better split up." 

I think I heard my heart cracking. My tongue was tied and I couldn't even say two words, I felt my feet freeze. I don't even know how I was still standing. "What?" I said in almost a whisper. 

"I'm sorry, but I don't think, this is going to work." I feel like I'm in some sick prank, I can't believe this. "You must be joking." I nervously laughed feeling, "What about earlier? You've been okay few hours ago, what happened!" 

"I don't know Lauren, I've been trying to convince myself but I couldn't. I'm not comfortable, that's it. I can't continue." 

"What happened to all the words you said to me? What happened to the memories?" I talked rather quickly and I could feel my voice shaking. I refuse to start crying. "I spent great moments with you but, that's it. We better stop here."

"Luke, please don't. I can't believe you." 

"It's the truth Lauren. I'm sorry." He pressed his lips together looking at me with so much pity, I felt the tears making their way to the corner of my eyes. My heart was hurting me like crazy and I couldn't understand what's going on. "You can't do this to me." 

"I'm sorry." 

"Stop saying sorry! Stop apologizing! What have I done wrong to deserve this?" I suddenly started yelling, tears rolling down my cheeks. The pain was unbearable, it's like the whole world was crashing in front of me and I'm paralyzed, not really able to save anything. "How dare you do this to me? Why? The fuck why?" 

"I told you, bec-"

"Stop bullshitting me! Stop it!" I cut him wiping my running tears with the back of my hand. My whole body was trembling and shaking, I'm feeling like I'm suffocating. The feeling is like someone is tightening his grip around my throat, killing me slowly. "What happened?! Tell me the truth." I insisted. 

"I told you, Lauren, because I wasn't feeling it a-" 

"Luke, I love you." It came out immediately and without any control. His eyes widened and it felt like everything stopped and disappeared. "You love me?" 

"It's not like it's gonna change something." I managed to say through my sobs, it's pitiful. This is fucking insane. I can't believe how low I am compared to him. I don't have any decadency, I don't have any level. I'm admitting my love for someone who rejected me and didn't even respected the relationship we maintained. I'm so stupid. 

"Yeah right." 

I couldn't believe this.

"Sorry, I have to go." He started walking away heading to the exit. He's leaving me. Another important person is walking out of my life. "No! Don't go! Please, Luke! I love you, I swear I do. You can't leave!" I grabbed his arm holding tightly his arm, preventing him for walking away. 

I wanted to stab myself with a knife in the middle of the heart and end my life before I do anything more stupid. I'm begging him to love me when he doesn't even give a fuck about me, but the pain is suffocating me even more and seeing him throwing me away without any pity made me do everything, I've never thought I could do. 

"Lauren, please don't complicate things." He said softly loosening my grip on his arm, he leaned in and planted a kiss on my cheek before starting to walk away again. I was frozen watching him run away disappearing in the dimly lit street. I crashed down on the pathway, sobbing into my hands. I felt like someone ripped off my heart without any mercy. Everything was aching and I couldn't prevent myself from crying. 

I cried because I was fooled once again. I loved him with every fiber of my body, my love for him is insane and I've never loved something as much as I loved Luke. We've been through a lot together and nothing could replace him in this world. I trusted him with my life and we shared the most intimate moments. 

How could he forget all of this? 

What made him change his mind all of a sudden? 

I need to see Ashton. He's the only one who's behind all of this. I know Luke too well to believe that there's someone who brainwashed him. I don't understand why I'm still defending him, he practically threw me away without taking our relationship in consideration. 

Nevertheless, I wiped my tears a little bit and walked to the crowded garden searching for my worst nightmare. They were where I left them, chatting and laughing loudly. It kills me inside to see everyone happy because I don't deserve what's happening to me. It's the same cycle every single time.

"What did you say to Luke?" I suddenly shouted directly at Ashton who stopped drinking and arched an eyebrow looking at me. 

"Excuse me, babe, what are you talking about?" 

"What made Luke do this to me? What did you say to him?" Calum got up wrapping his arm around my shoulders trying to comfort me but I pushed him away. "Don't touch me, I don't need any of your pity!" 

"So, he broke up with you?" He asked with a devilish smile and my blood was boiling. If Kenzie punched him and got him a black eye. I'll never hesitate to massacre his teeth. "Why are you insisting on making my life worse!"

"Baby, I told you he's no good to you but you insisted on following him like a fucking puppy. Hell, you went with him to the other part of world and look at you! Look at you, all crying and devastated because of him!" I tightened my fists hardly holding myself from attacking him, he has no right to talk about Luke. He doesn't know anything about us. 

"Shut the fuck up!" 

"I'm so sorry Lauren, you can do so much better." Before I could attack him seriously, Madison stood up and held me behind her. "Ashton seriously quit the shit you're doing!" She started yelling suddenly and Kenzie, Ashley, Skylar and the other guys were as oblivious as I was. I took a step back looking at the blonde petite girl defending me. 

"You'll never be able to get her back man okay? Not when Luke left her or when she finds out about the shit you did to get her in the first place." 

"Shut the fuck up, you bitch!" Ashton stood up taking closer steps to Madison who wasn't even scared of him towering over her. "Don't call me a bitch because I'm helping you. Lauren should really know about everything because I'm so sick of this crazy psychotic bubble!" 

"Know about what?" I asked loudly and I was scared of what's going to happen next. I don't know what to expect from them. Kenzie sighed and rubbed her face with her hands, she knows too. Ashley, Calum, Michael and Jacob also, were frightened looking at both Madison and Ashton. 

"Ashton never liked you in the first place. You were the only hot virgin chick in the senior year. He wanted a new game and challenge with himself. We all were part of this." I sucked in a sharp breath and my eyes immediately met Kenzie's. Her eyes were full of tears and I couldn't believe her. 

"No fucking way."

"I'm sorry to break it to you Lauren, but you need to know about this. It's not fair for you to continue hanging out with us completely oblivious." The previous shock was ten times worse right now as I processed what it's happening. I was a fucking game to Ashton. He never cared about me once or was honest with me as he promised to be. 

"You all knew about this?" I questioned, my voice barely audible. Everyone silently nodded and I was feeling dizzy. All of this is so much for me to accept in one night. I was nothing but a god damn joke to everyone the whole time. Everyone was feeding me shit all the time and taking me for a fucking toy behind my back. I can't believe how hypocrite everyone can be. At some point, I considered them my friends not forgetting Kenzie. My fucking best friend is part of that. I can't believe that she knew about everything and didn't care to tell me. I'm so done with her. This is yet another lie and another game. I can't believe how stupid I am, I don't understand what I'm still doing in here.

"Why!" I suddenly started screaming on top of my lungs making everyone jump in their own seats. I was out of reach. "What have I done to you!?" 

"Lauren, from the beginning it was a joke but now, you're our friend, I swear!" Michael stood up, trying to calm me but I pushed him unable to even look at his disgusting face. "Don't you dare, talk to me!" 

"You!" I pointed my finger at Ashton. "You are a manipulative selfish bastard who thinks that the whole fucking world is under his mercy. You abuse girls and take advantages of them because you think you're superior but you're nothing but a fucking coward and opportunistic. You were ready to fucking lick Calum's feet so, you can seek some attention to your disgusting self. You are disgusting. You give me fucking nausea. I'd rather live and die completely alone then, be with you. The sun is closer to you than me, I'll never be with someone like you."

"I'm not worse than, your lover, or should I say, ex-lover throw you away like a used tissue."

"My relationship with Luke doesn't fucking concern you. You are so disgruntled that you stayed behind us until we broke up. You're so ungrateful for what you have and you're always asking for more!" 

"You're such a slut for him, what the fuck is this!" I grabbed the random full cup on the table and splashed it in his face, my palm completely colliding with his cheek, a loud slapping sound echoed followed by surprised voices. "Don't you dare calling me a slut again! I'll fucking stab you with a knife and I won't give a shit about you!" 

"Please Lauren, calm down, he's not worth it. Please, love." Calum spoke making my blood boil even more. "Shut up, I don't need your fucking pity!" Ashton wiped his dripping face with his sleeve before standing up, towering over me. "You, Lauren Keller, the little nobody, now has the fucking courage to slap me in front of the whole school." He said through gritted teeth, grabbing my arm forcing closer to his chest. His hot breath fanned on my face, stinking alcohol and I winced because of his strong grip on my arm. "Don't put your disgusting hands on me." I yanked his hand forcefully pushing him away and he stumbled back a little bit and he was ready to hit me but Michael and Calum held him back. 

"Hit me Ashton! Hit me you fucking coward!" 

"Lauren, come with me." Kenzie said for the first time and it made me explode even more. "Don't approach me. You're nothing but a liar to me." 

"Please let me explain." She begged but there's no way I'm gonna listen to her again. "I let you explain yourself so many times but you're nothing but a huge liar. You're not so different of them, that's why you belong to this disgusting group." 

"Yeah; Kenzie has been always with us okay. Bear with that bitch." 

"I don't give a shit!" I spit on them and left them standing there. I left the crowded house pushing past drunk people and I unlocked my car. I started the engine, pushing down the hand brake and slamming my foot angrily on the gas pedal. I drove through the extremely rich neighborhood taking the exit that leads to the freeway. 

Everything was silent. 

The radio sound was off and my heart was aching. I felt so alone and left out, everyone was taking me for a joke even the dearest person in my life. I don't know how but I started sobbing again, my vision becoming blurry with the tears as I drove on the freeway hoping to get away as far as possible.
