We have only three more weeks before the expedition's funds run dry. I've spoken to President Yaran, but the administration refuses to continue funding our search. I understand this favor may be too much to ask, but if you could, please contact the Guild of Magi and inform them of our research. I am as wary as you are of the Magi corrupting our work, but in a few weeks we will have no choice. Besides, I believe the Magi are already aware of our proceedings and involving them now can do little to harm our expedition, especially now that we are so close. To think, if rulers from the time of the wars had done more to tamp rumors, we would already have the Kris of Cadmus in our grasp!
