The rain struck the roof like bullets being shot. You shook at the sound of the claps of thunder, but the reassuring humming sounding from the other room calmed you.
You picked up the two cups of hot chocolate and walked into the other room with the source of the humming, which in fact was your boyfriend Trevor. He sat up a bit more straight on the edge of the leather couch.

"Finally!" He cheered. You rolled your eyes and sat down next to him, handing him the mug. "You know, I didn't have to make this for you."

" I know. That's why I love you." He said as he sipped his chocolate and pulled you closer to him. There was a small silence of just staring around the room and outside watching the rain. "So, since we can't go to the beach anymore, how about a movie?"
"Dirty Dancing!" You yelled out of excitement. He jumped at your sudden outburst but laughed and smiled. "Dirty Dancing it is."

"You have to make the popcorn though!" You called out. He immediately groaned and stood up, walking into the kitchen. You too, got up and put in the movie. It was only late morning, so you guys had plenty of time with each other. Enough time to watch a few movies and just to be lazy, and that, you did. You and Trevor ended watching 3 or four movies, going through a few bags of popcorn until you two fell asleep in each others arms, ending a beautiful lazy day.
