One day when Spencer was visiting his mother Diana he met her. Who is 'her' you might ask? Well that would be the girl they call "Alice" though Alice wasn't her name, her name was Nova Bates.

And Nova Bates has schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder. She imagines all of Alice's friends from Wonderland. And they were her other personalities. Which earned Nova herself the nickname of Alice when she was actually herself. Though the girl looked nothing like the blonde girl from Wonderland.

Nova had long fiery red hair that reminded Spencer of the color of the Mad Hatters hair. It went all the way down her back and was always tousled about and never pristine. Her bright blue eyes were always changing colors, but when she was herself they were chocolate brown and pure looking. So innocent and full of sadness. Maybe that is why Spencer was drawn to her.

Mad Hatter, or Hattie as Spencer called him, was one of her personalities, when he made his appearance her eyes would go from chocolatey brown to deep green and he had himself a top hat. No matter how much the nurses got onto him, he always charmed them into letting him keep it.

Then there was Cheshire, or Chess as Spencer called him. He had deep blue eyes and his face always wore an insane grin upon his lips. He was smart, almost as smart as Spencer. And his eyes turned a deep almost black blue.

And then last but certainly not least there were the two Queens. The Red Queen Iracebeth and the White Queen Mirana. The two were twin personalities almost. He chose to call the two Queens by their proper terms.

The White Queen was gentle and calm, caring almost. Her eyes were such a light blue they almost looked white. He called her "Queen Mirana" or "White Queen" though the White Queen always asks him to just call her Mirana or Mir.

The Red Queen on the other hand.. well she was loud and had quite the temper on her. Her eyes were a dark crimson red color. You didn't want to upset her or she'd tell you all the ways she'd have off with your head. He called her "Queen Iracebeth" or "Red Queen" not wishing to upset the hotheaded personality.

Spencer Reid was so fascinated with Nova Bates. So much that every time he wasn't working a case at the BAU or every case the BAU went to Vegas he wouldn't miss being at the Bennington Sanitarium visiting both her and his mother.

He had found out that Nova had admitted herself here four years ago when she realized what was happening at only twenty four years old. Her and his mother got along quite well, they spent a lot of time together when Spencer was away with his work and they would always have tea parties. Diana thought her son and Nova would be cute together, thinking Spencer could take care of the girl with the delusion of Wonderland.

Diana and Nova, or currently Hattie, sat at one of the tables drinking tea. The two of them were talking about Spencer, and how they hoped he'd visit soon.

"Ahh, yes miss Diana. I think the two of them would be a wonderful couple Alice and Spencer. I really like him. But do you think he'd like to date all of us and not just dear Alice?" Hattie says, taking a sip of his tea and adjusting the brim of his top hat over Nova's messy fiery red hair.

"Well I'm sure Spencer would be open to it. You're all one after all. And he seems to take a liking to all of you, even that dreaded red queen." Diana quips, sipping her tea as well.

Suddenly Hattie's eyes changed to red "HEY I HEARD THAT!" the red queen yells out before her orbs change back to green, The Mad Hatter shaking his head a bit afterwards. "Tsk Tsk Tsk, Queenie its my time being out do not interrupt!"

Diana just watches the girl in amusement, arguing with herself.

The two were so distracted that they didn't see Spencer approaching behind them.

"Hello mother, Hello Hattie!" Spencer says as he approaches the pair.

The two turn around to see him walking over to their table with a cup of coffee in his hands.

"Spencer honey it's so nice to see you!" Diana says, hugging her son when he makes it to the table.

"Hello Spencer" Hattie says, tipping his hat to the man. "I see you're still drinking that coffee, why not join us for tea some time?"

"Well Hattie I'm just not much of a tea person" Spencer says, taking a seat next to Hattie. "Do you think I could maybe go on a walk and speak with Alice?" He asks The Hatter.

"Ahh I suppose so Spencer, Alice has been waiting for you for quite some time. Be good to her or I'll send Queenie on you." Hattie says with a wink in his direction before his eyes turn to the bright vivid chocolate pools of sadness that were Nova's eyes.

A smile pulled into her lips as she took Hattie's top hat off "Spencer!" she says excitedly before hugging him tightly "You came to visit us!"

Spencer smiles and hugs the girl "Shall we go for a walk outside in Wonderland?" He asks her.

"Of course! I've been wanting to go on a walk but the nurses wouldn't let me" Nova pouts, eyes looking at Spencer "But now that you're here and can supervise my crazy we can go on a walk!" she says with a slightly insane chuckle.

"Alright then lets go M'lady" Spencer says to her before leading her to the front desk to tell the nurses he was taking her for a walk in the garden of the sanitarium that reminded Nova so much of Wonderland.

Spencer reached for Nova's hand, taking it in his and lacing his fingers with hers.

Nova held his hand tight but not tight enough to hurt his hand, she felt her face heat up as Hattie said to her "Nova, remember he has a thing for hands? And he's holding your hand! That means he's comfortable enough with you to hold your hand!"

"How have you been since the last time we talked Nova?" Spencer asks, looking over at her and noting the blush covering her cheeks.

"Oh I've been quite alright! Me and your mother have been playing chess, well, hehe, I mean I guess Chess is playing chess with her technically. And we've had tea time! Hattie knows I love tea time." The girl mumbles, referring to the metaphorical tea party in the forest.

"That sounds like fun! How is my mother?" He asks, knowing Diana won't tell her son if anything is wrong.

"Oh Diana has been great! We've been awaiting your arrival Spence, we missed you. All of us." Nova says, looking up into Spencer's eyes as she wiggles her bare toes in the grass. She refused to wear shoes ever unless she had to leave the sanitarium which was hardly ever. The only times were when Spencer would take Diana and Nova out for dinner away from the sanitarium when it was a good day.

"Well Nova, I have missed you too. All of you. I uh, I actually have something to ask you all." He says nervously, sitting in the grass and waiting for Nova to follow him.

She sat in front of him with her legs crossed, Spencer sitting the same way. That was one thing the two of them had in common, they always had to sit that way.

Spencer held both of her hands in his now, Nova felt her cheeks heating up again. She felt herself starting to get nervous, not knowing what he's going to say. "Alright, what is it Spence?" She finally asks, looking into his eyes.

"Will uh, will you, will you be my girlfriend? Er, will you all be my partners. As a whole." He asks, looking into the still brown eyes.

He notices that she's listening to their responses as they come flowing through her head, her eyes changing colors with each response she got.

"Yes I like him Alice!" Hattie whispers.

"Yesss yes, I agree with the hat Chess likes him too" the cat whispers, talking in third person.

"I like him too Nova! He's good to us. All of us." The White Queen whispers.

"For once I agree with all those idiots! I like the Doctor too! He's got a nice head." The Red Queen says.

"I'm glad you all like him because I'm in love with him! I'm going to say yes. We will get to have tea time with him for a long time!" Nova says to them, a huge smile on her face.

"Yes. Yes we will Spencer Reid. I had no objections, we all love you so much." Nova says to him, smiling brightly and squeezing his hands gently.

"Really?? Even Queenie?" He asks Nova, brushing a bit of her hair from her face as her eyes turn red.

"Yes darling, even me. I like that pretty head of yours Doctor." The red queen butts in, winking at Spencer before disappearing back into her head.

"Well thank you Queenie, I'm glad you like my head. It's nice to know I have a good one." Spencer says to Queenie, chuckling a bit as he notices Nova's eyes return to their normal brown color.

Nova smiles contently and squeezes Spencer's hand in hers. "You make me very happy Spencer Reid." "All of us" Hattie pipes in for a split second.

Spencer smiled at Nova and ran his thumbs over the back of her hands "I have one more question, well it's more like two but."

"Ask away Spencer" Nova says, so happy he came to visit them.

"Well, my team at the BAU think that you all as a unit could be good for the team. If you want to be a part of our team they think you could make a good profiler." Spencer starts, waiting a few moments patiently for her alters to answer.

"What would the FBI want with a bunch of crazies?" Chess adds "Nevertheless I think I'd like the position, we'd be near boy wonder more."

"Yes! I would love us to work for the FBI Dear Alice I approve! Maybe we can find more friends to have tea parties with? If the FBI are up to having tea parties with us crazies." Hatter says, sounding giddy just thinking about it.

"Ahh the FBI? We could see lots of bodies all on show for us! And I guess we can catch the bad guys too. Hmm." Queenie says, sounding content with the fact that she would get to see bodies since she couldn't quite make them herself. Nova wouldn't let her. She had to be normal.

"Oh Queenie you're so horrid.. but if Nova wants to do it I will gladly agree!" The White Queen says. "Whatever makes you happy dear."

"Yes! I would love to come join the BAU with you we all would. But how are we going to get out of here? I thought I wasn't fit for normie life?" Nova says to Spencer.

"Well there comes my third part, will you move in with me? They said I can check you out of here and take you home if I wanted since I'm technically a doctor and you are deemed safe to society."

"Do you think you can live with all of us?" Hattie asks, chuckling and flashing his green eyes at Spencer.

"Yes I do. And I would love it very much because then I could be around all of you as much as I wanted. I hate leaving on cases and being gone for ages away from you all." Spencer says.

"Aww, Sugar, we miss you when you're gone too. I'm all for it if Nova and the rest of them are." Hattie says with a wink at Spencer before Nova's eyes returned to their normal color.

Spencer feels his cheeks heat up a bit as he watches Nova's eyes as she awaits the parties answers.

"Ahh yes! Let's live with boy wonder! I miss him when he's gone admittedly so." Chess says, agreeing with Hatter.

"Spence is sweet to us and he will take care of us. I would love to live with him!" Queen Mirana says.

"I agree too. Let's live with the Doctor with the nice head!" Queenie says.

Today was a strange day in Nova's head; for once every part of her was agreeing!

"Yes Spencer Reid. I would love to live with you and work in the BAU with you and be your girlfriend." Nova says happily, tearing up a bit.

Spencer smiled happily before asking her, "Would it be okay if I kissed you?"

"Yes please do!" They all say at once, Nova blushing afterwards.

Spencer then leans in and places a gentle kiss on Nova's lips. She kissed him back happily. Nova Bates was finally happy because of this man. He was their own personal Wonderland.

They were finally going home! It was that day they were leaving and they were so excited. Nova and the gang had all already bid their goodbyes to Diana, telling her they would come visit together on their off cases.

"I'm so proud of you Spencer! You two are so good for each other I'm glad you saw that." Diana said, hugging her son and then Nova right after.

"Thank you mother. We love you too! We have a flight to catch now next time we're in Vegas on a case or have time off we'll visit!" Spencer says, holding Nova's hand as they wave to her with their free hands, walking out the doors of the sanitarium after to catch their plane.

They were about to the house and Nova was super excited, they all were. And there wasn't very much longer until they got there.

Spencer parks the car in a driveway and gets out, hurrying over to Nova's side to open her door. She blushed and got out, holding Spencer's hand as he lead them to the front door.

He unlocks it for them and they walk in the house before he leads her to the back of the house and to the sliding glass doors, opening them to reveal a beautiful garden much like she imagined Wonderland to be. It even has a tea table set up in it!

The whole place was illuminated by the string lights in the trees as the BAU members who where sitting around the tea table said "Welcome Home Nova! And Welcome To Our Team."

That's when all of them knew; they were going to love it here with them. In their perfect Wonderland with Spencer Reid.
