I have to meet that one kid today to finish out project but that's a bit later in the day. I have to work until then. Yay.

"Hey, Kleinman" I mumbled, walking past him to put my apron on.

He just ignored and continued taking some girl's order. I watched closer, noticing a small blush on his face. When he was done I just laughed.

He gave me a puzzled look, "What?"

"'I'm ace' my ASS!" I wheezed.

He rolled his eyes. "You're pushing it, Murphy. I don't even know her name."

She started walking back over here. I looked at her closer. She had short, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, she was a bit shorter than Jared and was like, almost as edgy as I am. She looked like she would be me and that flower kid's love child. Wait-

Not like that. Ew.

"Uh did you have a napkin? I dropped my croissant." She almost started laughing.

Jared frantically gave her a napkin and when we walked away, I said, "Yeah, she's definitely your type."

He wacked me with a towel.
