Walking in the Savanna, Rani was getting tired. The dry sun beaming down on her chestnut coloured back, wishing there was water near by Rani wondered why Baylio would move out here so far away from everyone else, but yet again Baliyo likes to be alone, it was a nice area unoccupied, it reminded her of Hakuna Matata Falls but smaller, the dense forest, the smell of dampness and wet shrubs, oh was she wishing she was there already. A shadow casted over her, multiple shadows appeared, all going in a circle above her, she looked up to see four vulchers circling over her, usually this means they found a prey to feed on and very son they'll swoop down and attack, but they just hanged there, Kion had many issues with vulchers back in the Pride Lands, luckily Mzingo and his flock switched sides, Rani hasn't encountered vulchers in her life time and therefore doesn't know their personality.

"Hey excuse me?", Rani called out, the first bird looked down and swooped down followed by the other three, landing next to her and boxing her in, "Oh wow, you guys are big",

"Why thank you", the first said, his voice crockey as if he hasn't drunk in days,

"Sorry to bother you guys, but do you know if there is any supply of water nearby?", Rani asked desperately,

"Thirsty are ya",

"Yeah, I'm afraid I didn't think this through before adventuring out here",

"Oh really? Where you heading too?",

"I'm going to see my brother at Kjuma Forest",

"Oh cool, and um, who are you may I ask?", the first bird said moving closer to Rani who doesn't realize their movements,

"Oh my name is Rani, queen of the Tree Of Life", Rani said reluctantly as she finally sees the birds inching closer.

"Queen hey?", the first bird said backing up, "Well what am I doing?", he says bowing down as do the rest of the birds do, "so sorry about that your majesty",

"It's okay, now about that water?", Rani said chuckling,

"Ah yes, you see that big pond down there?", the first bird said, pointing to the sparkling water flicking off of the sun.

"Yes, yes thank you so much", Rani said walking towards the watering hole, it was a far way but at least she can have something to hope for.

"Do you need shade? We could fly over you until you get there?",

"That would be wonderful, thank you". Rani was relieved when the heat faded away.

They chatted and laughed, shared small stories and began to create a bond, coming over the sand dune Rani gasp at the sight of the water, it was massive and it looks delicious,

"We're here", the vulcher said flying up higher, Rani dashed towards it, her mouth starting to fill with her saliva, she was that light headed that she jumped into the water but as she landed all she got was a mouthful of sand and confusion,

"What? There was water here a second ago? What happened to all of the water?", She looked up to see the vulchers laughing and mocking her. "Hey stop that, that's not how you treat a queen angry and confused she jumped to try and claw one of the vulchers, but it was no use, she tried multiple times until one of the vulchers swooped down and picked her by the scruff of the neck and carried her away, getting higher and higher, "Hey, put me down right now", trying to claw the bird but as she looked down she saw how high it was, "on second thoughts, please don't, where you taking me?",

"Oh Talia will love your presence", the vulcher smirked laughing as they took Rani to Kjuma Forest, her eyes widened as all sorts of images and thoughts came into her mind, she swore to herself letting the birds manipulate her.

"Who are you guys?", Rani asked, no one spoke now, only the flaps of the wings and the wind in her ears, looking everywhere she was pretty high up, she could see the Tree where her throne is from up where she is and she could see the horizon, the sun blinding her as they descended into the forest, her legs kicking and her body naturally fighting as she was let go, like majority of cats she landed on all fours, she tried to escape but was knocked out from the side, the last image in her mind was the sight of a light brown male lion walking towards her, "Baylio?".
