Mariana lead the pride towards the dry rigged Outlands, the sky was turning grey, it was the wet season, but Kion knew that 'where there is darkness, there is most certainly war', But Kion wasn't worried at all; Mariana had doubled crossed him, well at least he hopes too, and even if she didn't, they're simply outnumbered, but then Karla was still in play. If Makuthca knows were on the way, who knows what he might do to her. "We need a plan", the silence was broken, they stopped dead on their tracks as Kion sat down and thought about it. Simba joined him while the rest hanged back and talked, Mariana was talking to Scorpio, their chatter echoing the outlands.

"You okay son?",

"I'm fine dad",

"So, what plan do you have in mind?",

"I don't know to be honest, I'm still in the mind of what if?, what if Makuthca killed her already, what if he is going to kill her",

"Kion, If Makuthca has already killed Karla than Mariana wouldn't be here",

"Well, what if she is apart of the plan?",

"Well if she is, we'll be ready, I know you can think of a plan, your Kion, leader of the day Pride and the King of  the Tree Of Life".

"Thanks dad, give me some time?",

"Of course son".

Simba hugged Kion and went back to the Pride, Kion thought for a moment, looking back he saw his mum, his dad, Kiara, Kovu, Scorpio and Mariana alongside lioness who don't deserve to be caught up in all of it. It was his job to keep everyone safe, so he decided it was best they won't come, he also doesn't want his parents or the future leaders to get hurt too, even though they all volunteered to join in, it would be easier if Kion and a few others continued the mission, not only to mention that no one else needs to get hurt, or even worse. If he was going to get Karla back he needed someone smart, brave and good at fighting,  who better than Jaseri herself?

"Okay guys, I have a plan", the group's chatter died down, waiting patiently for Kion's orders,
"I know you all wanted to come and help me bring back Karla, but I think it's safe to say that Karla would be brought home without all of us, I don't want any of you to be hurt, so Mariana, Scorpio and Jasiri will go get her back, the rest of you can get back to Pride Rock".

"Don't you need us Kion?", Kiara asked,

"I appreciate your help sis, but we can do this, the four of us",

"Plus, it's only Makuthca and three other leopards ", Mariana stated.

"Right, our plan is to go as soon as we can, Mariana to go there to make sure their there, and she'll signal us by using code word hunting and we'll go in, Scorpio and I will lead em away and fight if we have to while Jasiri and Mariana get Karla away from there, once she is safe I'll use the roar to finally end it all".

Everyone looked stunned, it was a very good plan, but the last part, 'use the roar to finally end it all"? That doesn't sound like Kion, but they understood, if it was them in his position, they'll probably do the same.

"Okay Kion, be safe and  bring Karla home, the rest of us, let's go back home", Simba announced, Nala went up to Kion and hugged him,

"Good luck deer",

"Thanks mum".

Kion watched the Pride head the opposite direction until they were out of sight,

"Well, let's get going".

Kion lead his troops deeper into the Outlands, hoping to pick up on Jasiri's scent, they went left and they went right, they went everywhere until finally Kion pricked his head up, catching a faint smell of the hyena.

"You guys stay here, I just need to go speak with someone".

Kion leaped from rock to rock as he headed down the ravine, the same ravine he fell down in when he met Jasiri, this time Kion was more cautious.

"Jasiri?", Kion yelled, her name echoing off the rocks, but no reply,

"Jasiri?", Kion looked around, no sign of her tracks, her scent was close though, maybe she was here and moved on with her pack.
Kion was just about to turn the corner and head for Janja's clan when suddenly he jumped and was tackled mid air by a hyena,

"Jasiri?", Kion said confused.

" Well, well, well, Kion, what are you doing here, In my territory?", Jasiri said with her usual cheeky laugh,

"I need your help", Kion admitted.

Things turned serious, Kion's face was showing trouble and Jasiri's was now more concerned.

"Of course Kion, what do you need?", Jasiri stated as she got off of him,

"It's about Makuthca",

"What about him?",

"Oh? You don't know about what happened do you?",

"No, I don't, what happened?",

"Makuthca attacked the Tree Of Life again, but this time he took Karla",

"Oh no, is that why your here?",

"Yes, one of Makuthca's ex is willing to help us get her back, we need your help too",

"Of course Kion, Sisi Ni Sawa",

"Asante Jasiri, thank you",

Jasiri nodded her head and followed Kion to the rest of the group, Scorpio and Mariana looked up, seeing Jasiri and Kion didn't make sense but they didn't question it,

"Right So what's the plan?", Jasiri announced.

"The plan is for me and Scorpio distract them while you and Mariana find Karla and lead her to safety".

"Sounds like a good plan",

"Thanks, now let's get my daughter back".
