Sleeping amongst his family Kion was in the safest place in all of Africa, but being safe isn't always from enemies, sometimes yourself can be dangerous. His dreams were effecting him, ever since he heard the news that Makuthca and Karla wasn't around, the night had seemed to be drifting ever so slow, the wind as calm as the rivers and the trees rustling away around the Savanna.

"Kion",

"Grandfather?",

"Kion, I'm so sorry to tell you this, but Karla has died",

" What? N-no, it can't be", Kion said confused.

" Yes Kion, Makuthca killed her, sliced her throat and ate her", Mufasa said laughing.

"No, not possible, lies", Kion exclaimed,

" It's true, I was there",

"No", Kion said, tensing IP his muscles.

" If only you were a better father and king, maybe than she'll be safe, this is all your fault, you killed your daughter",

"No", Kion Screamed in terror.

Kion woke up, his body sweating, his heart beating faster than Fuli's speed. Looking around everyone was still asleep, looking outside the cave the sun was peeping up from beyond, 'It was just a dream', Kion reminded himself. 'But, what if? What if it's true? What if Karla is dead? Was Mufasa telling the truth? And if she is dead than it will be my fault', Kion whispered to himself as he heads outside of the cave, he was hoping no one would wake up but Kiara heard everything Kion said, she was now worried and scared for him, feeling that he needs some support. Kion sat down at the tip of the rock, looking down at the ground, he pictured what his father told him, "down below is where Scar was killed, betrayed by his hyenas".

" Kion?". Breaking from his zone, Kion looks towards Kiara, her face tired, there was a worrier look on her, whatever it is, Kion somehow knew it was about him.
"What are you doing up?",
" Well, I've lived with you for a long time so I know when my little brother needs time alone or help",
Kion sighed and looked at the horizon, Kiara knew when he needs time alone and this was the time, whatever it is, Kion is worse than ever but she left him, sitting next to him she kept quiet, joining him to watch the sun rise, silent and peaceful.

A good few minutes went by and than suddenly, Kion spoke, but not only words came out of his mouth, for the first time since he was a cub did Kion shed a tear, but this time Kion went into a meltdown, "what if Karla is dead?", Kion said, his nose beginning to clog up as tears were forced out of his eyes,
"Oh Kion, why would you say that?",

" Because, She wasn't here, or around here, I couldn't find her, it's all my fault. I'm a bad king and a bad father, What would Rani think about me?", Kion said in between breaths,

"Kion, Rani would still love you, no matter what, your not a bad king or father, Karla is still alive and your going to find her, that's why your here, if you were a bad father, you wouldn't be here, yet you have searched and will search until the Pride Lands end because I believe in my brother that Karla would be safe and sound",

Kion couldn't help smile at the irony at that, using the guard's motto to inspire him but Kion still had doubts and Kiara saw that.

" Kion, listen, we'll be here for you, Makuthca will pay for taking my niece, he and whoever he is working with will pay, I'll stand by you and fight our enemies",

"We will all stand by you, were family, no one is going to stand in between our family", Kion and Kiara turned around to see the whole pride standing there, his mother, father, Kovu, Scorpio and the guard, other lioness smiled and nodded at them,
" See Kion, we are all here for you and we will always be here",

Kion smiled, finally realizing that he needs to live further than what his judgements says.

"Thank you guys, really means a lot, I didn't know what I was doing when I said those things, I am sorry, It's just the thought of loosing my daughter",

" yes, and you are not to blame, Makuthca is the one to blame, not you",
Kion agreed and stood back up, his mind now calm and his heart now soothing to a good rhythm.

"Do you guys mind if you help me find my daughter?",

Shouts of yes and agreement flooded Pride Rock, a glimmer of hope raced across the Pride Lands, he looked at them smiled and turned around, " We'll find Karla, return her to safety and than destroy our enemy. Until the Pride Lands end".

"Until the Pride Lands end", everyone said in unison. Kion stood still, remaining calm as he took a deep breath and roared.
