Guys, thank you sooo much for the 4k reads! Merry Christmas! Please enjoy your holiday and this chapter. Love y'all!😘

It was silently awkward after. "Come again?" my voice was hoarse.

"We're going to move to Australia after New Year's Eve. My mom's going to stay with her fiancé. I'm sorry I haven't told you before." she let out another sob.

"Since when did you know?"

"The day after the song writing competiton. I'm sorry for not telling you."

A mix of emotions slurred through my body. I didn't know what to feel. I didn't know if I was either angry or sad. I kept silent, finding the right words to say. "I'm sorry too, Camila."

I got out of the bed and went to the restroom. I cleansed my face as I stared at my reflection on the mirror. I took a deep breath, wiping my face with the towel I kept inside before heading out.

Camila's back was facing towards me now, all wrapped in my blanket. A faint smile made its way onto my lips. I gently climbed up to the bed and hugged her from behind as I kissed her cheek. She gently turned and our lips met for a quick second before she murmured, "Go to sleep. We can do it tomorrow morning, Benito."

I let out a flirtatious smile creep onto my face before falling fast asleep next to the love of my life.

---

"Good morning, Benito!" a loud, careless voice deafened my ears as I felt a small body jump into mine from above the covers.

I shot up and found Camila's eyes gazing into mine. "Hey, sweetie." I flirted. I held her by the waist and grinned.

"Morning, babe." she let out a laugh, "Just kidding. You should've seen your reaction though."

I let her go and checked the clock beside me. "What's for breakfast?"

8.21am.

"Your favourites, muffins." she chirped as she pulled me out of the bed.

It filled me with dread to part with my bed.

"Okay, I'm coming." I called out laughing. "I haven't even brushed my teeth. My breath stinks and you want me to eat? Gross."

"Psh," she rolled her eyes playfully, "brush them later."

"Ew."

"It's okay, you're doing it for me anyways.", she laughed.

"Whatever," I say, giving in.

The muffins better be good then.

I followed her downstairs and to my kitchen where Aaliyah had already been cooking an omelette.

"You made blueberry muffins?" I asked Camila as I sniffed the air.

"How did you know?"

"They're the only ones Aaliyah wouldn't eat." I chuckled.

"Why?"

"She's allergic to blueberries."

"Oh.." her voice trailed off, "when's your mom coming home?"

I shrugged as I continued shoving the muffins into my mouth. They were delicious.

She took a napkin and gently wiped some of the crushed crumbs on my face. I laughed before taking the napkin from her hand, chuckling and red in embarrassment.

Aaliyah was beside us, giggling. What was in that head of hers now? "Aaliyah," my tone teasing, "you can invite Dylan over for New Year's."

"Really?" her eyes shot up woth excitement.

"Really." I smirked. "Just don't kiss yet. You guys are still too young."

"Shawn!" she threw a pillow from the sofa onto my face.

"Oh, this is on!" I chuckled. "Camila's on my side!"

"No, I'm not." she playfully giggled heading to Aaliyah, "Girls stick with girls."

"That's hardly fair. Two against one."

"Life isn't fair, so deal with it." Aaliyah chirped.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes before hitting Camila with the first throw. "Now that, that is for betraying me."

I threw another one, at Aaliyah, "And this—this is for getting Camila to your side."

I laughed as I held both of my hands to pull them up. Victory was mine. They pulled me down with them instead. Now we were all lying on the floor. "Still won." I chuckled breathlessly.

"That wasn't fair," Aaliyah whined. " We were caught off-guard."

I patted her head and gave her a teasing look. "Well, someone told me life isn't fair."

"So deal with it." I burst out laughing. I had to clasp my stomach with my hands.

"You're weird," Aaliyah rolled her eyes and stood up.

"And that's why both of you love me." I laughed harder and my stomach was beginning to hurt from all the laughter.
