I watched Levin snuggle up to his father, Aaron, as the two of them slept. I was still in my tux and hat from when Aaron tried to make me dance.

I looked at the two of them, and my mood worsened.

"I was fine with the men
Who would come into her life now and again

That they didn't really matter until you"

I began to sing, remembering Aphmau. I walked out to the balcony of our hotel room and continued to sing.

And we fought like it was all some silly game
Over her, who she'd choose
After all those years I never thought I'd lose"

Aphmau and I had known each other pretty much forever.  Then she met Aaron, and everything changed. Yeah, I felt strong feelings for her, but I never thought someone who she had not known for very long would end up tearing her away from her.

I leaned over the balcony, looking out upon Empire City. I picked a rose from the bed, and twirled it around in my finger. I looked up to the stars and held the rose to my heart.

"War and glory, reinvention
Fusion, freedom, her attention
Out in daylight my potential
Bold, precise, experimental"

I sang with passion and heartache, still dealing with what had happened to Aph. Even the sound of her name made me want to scream in pain.

"Who am I now in this world without her?
Petty and dull with the nerve to doubt her
What does it matter? It's already done
Now I've got to be there for her son"

The tears began to form. Ever since Aphmau gave up her physical form to give birth to Levin, I had taken him in and, along with the rest of the Crystal Gems, trained him to lead. Just like his mother.

I sighed as I leaned over the balcony again, sniffing the rose before dropping it into the city below. I cried more.

"It's over, isn't it?
Why can't I move on?"

I finished my song and plopped on the ground, crying into my hands. I heard a soft shuffle behind me, and quickly turned around to see Levin standing there with a hand over his mouth.

"G-Garroth?"

HAHAHA I SO EVIL! AND YEA I WENT THERE! This scene made me cryyyyyyy because Pearl singing about Rose Quartz and how much she loved her more than a friend just UGHHHHHH! Anywho, That's all for now folks!
