Chapter Twenty Three: For reals this time
"T-Travis," I mumbled as he pulled away from me.
"I mean, yeah, cake would've been good too, but I thought you would enjoy that more," Travis said with a grin.
"I don't know... cake is pretty good. It's hard to beat," I said, returning his smile.
"Why don't we get outta here?" He said as he grabbed my hand. I smiled and nodded. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT JUST HAPPENED. HOLY SKXJSKENBSLXJFBNSNSKZOCJEBBWKZKCJFBSNKS. After my little mental freak out, I sat in the passenger seat. Travis got in the drivers side and drove me home.
Once we got to my house, we got out and he walked me to my door. He said goodbye and started to head back to his car.
"Where do you think you're going?" I asked him.
"Home?" questioned Travis.
"Nope, you're staying the night with me," I decided.
"Alright, you don't have to tell me twice," he said with a smirk. I unlocked my door and let the two of us in.
"I don't think I have any other clothes here," Travis said as I started going upstairs to change.
"You probably do, let me see," I told him. I went into my room and looked through my sock drawer. I found one of his tee shirts and some pajama pants from one of my guy friends that I accidentally stole. I walked back out and tossed the clothes at him. "There's a guest bedroom or a bathroom down there where you can change," I told him.
"Aww, you're not letting me change wth you like when we were camping?" He asked, fake pouting.
"Nope, never again will that happen," I said as o turned back to my room. I went inside and got changed into a tee shirt and shorts. I went back downstairs to see Travis on the couch, already changed.
"Damn you change fast," I said as I walked downstairs. He just shrugged.
"Whose are these, anyway?" He asked me, gesturing to the pants.
"Just an old friend's. I accidentally stole them," I answered.
"How do you accidentally steal a guy's pajama pants?" He asked.
"Let's just say I was a little risqué in college," I answered with a small smile forming on my lips.
"Damn, I wish I would've met you back then," Travis said as I plopped down on the couch next to him. I scooted closer to him and he put his arm around me.
"You wish you got dared to skinny dip just so I could steal your clothes and hide them in different places?" I questioned.
"Fair point. What other things did you do in college?" He said with a smirk.
"What happened in college, stays in college," I replied.
"Aww come on, live a little. Tell me," he replied.
"I did live a little and now I'm going to chill on the couch, having a peaceful night," I answered.
"Baby, you know your night won't be peaceful when you're with me," Travis pointed out.
"True," I said. "But I'm still not telling you."
"Fine, I'll get it out of you one day," he said.
"Sure you will," I said sarcastically.
Travis and I sat there for a few more hours, talking until we both started to get tired.
"Let's head upstairs if we're both so tired," I suggested.
"That's a good idea," Travis said. He got up and then picked me up bridal style.
"I can walk, y'know," I said while giggling.
"Yeah but this is more fun," he replied. We got upstairs and he set me down on my bed. He sat laid down next to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I grabbed my shoe from the floor and chucked it at my light switch to turn off the lights instead of getting up.
"You're so goddamn lazy," he mumbled into the crook of my neck.
"I just don't wanna get up," I replied with a little laugh.
"Why? Cause you love me so much that you don't want to be away from me for just a few seconds?" He teased.
"More like I love my bed that much," I retorted. We both laughed a little and soon dozed off.
Time skip :3
I woke up hugging my f/a plushie Travis won me a while back. Speaking of, where is he? I looked around the room and didn't see him anywhere. I got up and went downstairs and saw him making pancakes and eggs.
"What time is it?" I asked groggily.
"8 o'clock," he replied. "Morning, beautiful," he said with a wink.
"Morning, Snowball," I replied with a crooked smile.
"Still calling me that?" He asked.
"Yup," I replied. "Uhg I just realized that I have to be to work in a few hours."
"Just call in sick," he replied. "Hang out with me all day." He winked.
"Okay, so being with you all day, or money. I think I'm gonna go to work," I replied.
"Aww, come on, I'm sure you're good on money," he said as he wrapped he arms around my waist.
"I already took a vacation day for the camping trip so I really need to go to work," I explained. "Why don't you work?"
"My mom was rich and when she passed away, she left all her money to me," Travis told me.
"Oh, I'm sorry I brought it up," I said sympathetically.
"Nah, its fine," he said as he went back to making breakfast. "Here." He handed me a plate with pancakes and eggs on it. We sat down and ate breakfast together. Damn this boy knows how to cook.
After we were done, I got up and got dressed into my work outfit.
"I still love seeing you in that," Travis said from behind me as I was brushing my hair.
"If I catch you staring at my ass, you're dead," I threatened.
"Pfft why would I ever do that?" He said in that voice he does when he's lying.
"Oh, yeah, cause you definitely have never stared at my butt before," I stated sarcastically.
THAT'S RIGHT BITCHES I UPDATED. For some reason I felt like I should update cause I left you all at a really bad spot. I know most of you probs deleted my book from your library, which i completely understand. I would've done that too. However, don't get too excited. I might not be updating constantly because of theatre and school in general. Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll try to answer them as best as I can. :3
