Chapter Eighteen: Camping-Part two

"Look! A a waterfall!" Aphmau cheered as we approached a log over a waterfall.

"Cool. Let's turn back," I said as I turned around.

"No way! We have got to cross the log to the other side!" Aph said.

"It could break," I pointed out.

"It also could not," she replied.

"Fine. You go first," I said.

"Okay!" She said cheerfully. She walked across the log with ease. She got to the other side and stuck her tongue out at me. The others took this as a sign and crossed, leaving me left to cross.

I rolled my eyes and stepped on the log. It let out a quiet creek. I took a deep breath and put all of my weight on it. The next thing I know, it starts to roll.

"Guys?!" I shouted.

I tried to get to a side but failed to do so in time. The log fell and I was going down with it. I let out a scream as I fell through some trees. I clamped my eyes shut, fearing what would happen if I looked.

I felt a jolt and I suddenly stopped. My shirt got caught on a tree branch. I wasn't going to stay there for long; my shirt was to rip. I tried to reach around and grab a branch but none of them were in reach or could hold my weight. The fabric was tearing more and more with each passing second.

"HELP!" I screamed.

"Y/N?" Someone called back.

"GO TO THE LAKE! I GOT CAUGHT UP BUT IM GONNA FALL SOON!" I yelled. They didn't reply. Or maybe they did and I just didn't hear them over my own screams of falling.

Travis' POV

The four of us had crossed. Now Y/n just had to. The wearily put one foot on it. It creaked a little. She obviously noticed it. She decided to keep walking, which was a mistake. The log started to roll out of place. The look of fear swept across her face as it sped up.

"Guys!?" She yelled.

I ran forward and reached out my arm for her but it was too late. She screamed as she fell to the bottom.

"Y/N!" I screamed after her. No reply.

"Guys come on, she has to end up down there somewhere," Aaron said.

A couple of moments later we heard someone scream for help. It was Y/n!

"She's alive!" Aphmau said.

"Y/N!" I yelled to her. She replied with something that sounded like get to the bottom. I started to tell her something but was interrupted with more screams. I assumed she had fallen again. I started to run down to the bottom. Who cares if I fall? It won't be as bad as Y/n, that's for sure.

We soon reached the bottom but was met with a lake. Y/n is somewhere down there. I need to keep calm. Freaking out won't help. I took off my hoodie and dove into the lake. I soon found some air bubbles and followed them to the source. I saw Y/n and picked up her body, taking her to shore.

Y/n POV

I started to cough up water. Irene this burns. I opened my eyes to find Travis very close to me. There was a stricken look on his face.

"You're alive!" He yelled as he hugged me. I yelped from all the pain coursing through my body. Travis immediately let go and looked over my body to see where my injuries where. I had small cuts all over my body from the trees that burned from the water. I knew there was a slight gash on my back from the tree branch that caught me. Wait. Where's my shirt?

"Um..." I choked out. "Where's my shirt?" I finished quietly. (Yes, you still have a bra on)

"We don't really know. Here," he said as he handed me his hoodie. I slipped it over myself but not before everyone saw my back.

"What happened?" Aaron asked, gesturing to my cut.

"A tree caught me," I said. "I guess that's what happened to my shirt."

"Let's get you back to the camp," Travis said as he picked me up. There was no way I was going to protest so I rested my head against his chest.

Time skip to camp :P

We arrived at the camp just as the sun was starting to set.

"Should we pack up?" Aphmau asked.

"No way. I'm not injured so bad that we have to leave," I stated.

"I don't want to fight with her on this," Travis said.

"Okay, well can you put her in the tent? I'm gonna bandage her up," Aphmau replied.

Travis put me in our tent and on our bed. He left as soon as Aphmau came in.

"Aph it's really not that bad," I said as I sat up, wincing a little. "See?"

"I know. Just cooperate with me," she said as she took off Travis' hoodie. I turned around so she could do her thing. She started to pour something cold in my back. It started to burn badly.

"Ow ow ow!" I yelped.

"I have to clean it!" She argued.

"Well make it not hurt!" I fought back. She put a really big Band Aid on it and told me she was done.

"That wasn't so bad, now was it?" She asked.

"....no..." I gave in. I grabbed Travis' jacket and put it back on. Aph and I got up and walked out.

"You're really gonna still wear my jacket?" Travis asked.

"Yeah. It's comfortable," I told him.

"I better get that back," Travis said as he rummaged through a bag for some food.

"Oh, poor Travis," Aphmau started. "You think you're going to get that back?"

"Uh yeah," he said.

"You know, when a girl gets your jacket, it's hers," Aphmau told him. "You're never gonna get that back."

"But that's just a thing when people are dating," Garroth said as he walked up to us.

"Maybe we are. You'll never know," Travis said as he found some hot dogs.

"Uh no we aren't. Travis is just an ass," I said.

"Oh sure, call the guy who saved your life an ass," Travis said as he got hot dog buns out.

"I can call whoever I want an ass."

"For almost dying, you sure do have a lot of life tonight," Travis replied. I shrugged in reply.

So I forgot to say this in the last chapter but I have like 220+ followers and wow. Didn't think I would get there.
