Welcome to my second travel log! :D I'm excited.

Sorry I didn't publish earlier, I just didn't feel like there was that much to talk about! Its a day of travel. We drove to the airport, checked bags, got through security, and hung out for a little while before boarding. I did discover that there is a pretty good sushi place in the PDX (Portland's airport) left wing directly after you check through security! The flight was delayed, but only by about 25 minutes, so it wasn't a bad wait. Plus, it was a direct flight, so much quicker!

You can't see much, though. It pretty much looked like this the whose time except lighter.

Yeah you can't see anything. Whoops. XD Once we got to New York, we were able to see some city lights when we weren't facing the ocean.

Actually that might have been New Jersey. XD Here's possibly Brooklyn or Queens.

Finally a decent picture! XD We are kind of stuck on the runway. No gates available to get off from yet. Yaaayyy more boredom! Although the flight had screens for each seat, so I watched a couple movies. First I saw Gifted, the new movie about the child living with her uncle but she is REALLY good at math. Then I did School of Rock, because that is one of the plays we are going to see while here! Yup, we are going to see a few musicals. :)

We just got to a gate. I tell you what the musicals are later! Haha didn't mean to keep you in suspense but it worked out that way!

9:04- Eastern Time
We got to our hotel! Its pretty fancy, we're staying at the Hotel Sofitel. Just got unpacked and settled in. I got some pictures of the city while driving in from the airport. I don't know how good they are, but here's some!

Wow, my camera isn't good at night while in a car. XD

This was kind of a weird triangle-shaped building I saw!

Well, maybe it'll be better in the daylight. Anyway, I did mention we would be seeing some shows! We will see The Lion King, Chicago, and, as I mentioned earlier, School of Rock. We might be seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, too, since I was interested after being in it.

I'll leave you for tonight. Tomorrow should be more interesting! We'll be going on a tour at NBC studios in Rockefeller Center, which should be fun! Talk to then! Good night!
