WARNING: panic attack

"Hello, Mitchell," James spoke up, causing Mitch to stiffen and back up a bit. James sighed, shaking his head as he looked at Alex. "Alex, do you mind bringing him to a seat?"

"Not at all."

Alex walked over to the small male, his heart almost breaking at the way Mitch tried to make himself disappear while tears rolled down his cheeks.

Keyword: almost

"Come on, Mitch. I don't got all day," Alex hissed, grabbing Mitch's arm roughly. Mitch squeaked, his arm in pain as the taller male sat him down. "There you go, Dad."

"Thank you, Alex. Now, Mi-"

Mitch stood up, ready to leave when Alex practically shoved him down on his chair roughly. Pain erupted through his entire body, fearful tears rolling down his cheeks as Alex kept his hands on his shoulders. They almost felt like...

His.

"Now, before we were interrupted," James spoke up, looking at Mitch disappointedly. Mitch looked down, his lip quivering as he took a long look at the bag in his lap. "Let us talk about...that night."

Mitch shook his head, sobbing quietly as he tried to sit up. Alex made sure he stayed still, getting angrier as time went on. James sighed, watching as Mitch took a whiteboard out his bag, a little whiteboard marker on it. James raised an eyebrow, looking up at Mitch once more.

"You can't speak?"

Mitch shook his head, pointing at his throat. On it was a scar that looked like someone slit his throat. Not too deep, but deep enough to disable him from talking. James nodded, looking at his papers once more before looking back at Mitch. His eyebrow was raised, looking at the scar on Mitch's throat.

"Your parents told me that you could speak perfectly fine," James commented, pointing at the whiteboard. Mitch kept his grip on it, shaking his head while he refused to look at his therapist. "There's no need to write on a whiteboard."

Mitch wrote on it slowly, Alex looking over the small shoulder. The message made his heart ache, shaking his head as Mitch showed James the whiteboard.

I don't like to talk. I'm very insecure in my voice. Please do not force to do so.

James shook his head, exaggerating a sigh to make Mitch feel bad. It must have worked because Mitch looked at his lap, ashamed of his actions. James shoved the whiteboard back, shaking his head as he stared at Mitch.

"We've wasted ten minutes of your appointment and you weren't even up here for more than half. Let's continue now. Alex, step outside. Talk to lover boy if you want to."

Alex blushed, nodding as he left the room. He could feel Mitch staring back at him, slamming the door so the traumatized boy could actually have his appointment. Alex's boyfriend must have been thinking the same thing because Alex's phone began to ring, bringing a smile on his face as he answered.

"Hey, baby!"

"Hey! I miss you so much. College is stressing me out. You're lucky you don't have to be in college anymore."

"Yeah, I'd like to be there right now," Alex murmured, shaking his head as he glared at the door. He could hear his boyfriend make a 'hmm' sound before talking back.

"You're at your father's office? Why?"

"Because you're busy doing whatever. He also wanted me to there for some boy was who hurt a little while back," Alex murmured, shaking his head as a scream came from behind the door. He jumped a bit, widening his eyes in fear. "Hey, baby. I got to go. See ya."

"Wait...why is that boy there? Did he get raped or something? He was probably asking for it."

Alex rolled his eyes, not knowing why his boyfriend could be so insensitive sometimes. That was one of many, many, many traits his boyfriends had that made him unattractive. Why he was still dating him he would never know.

"First of all, no one asks to be raped. Second of all, he was...stabbed, I'm guessing? By two people? That's what the papers say on my father's de-"

"Oh, I need to go. I'll see you later. Date night at my place? Does nine sound good for you?"

"I guess?" Alex responded, head of the boy scream once more. "I got to go."

"Bye, Allie."

"Bye, Scotty."

Alex hung up, wondering why Scott has been so secretive for the past few months. Back in November, Scott began to be....more mean, more rude. He began to do more drugs, forgetting all about date nights with Alex. Alex didn't know why, but he remembered when the story came out about Mitchell. His name was unknown at the time, but now here he is.

Getting therapy.

"Shut up," Alex murmured, widening his eyes once he came inside. Mitch was shaking, tears rolling down his cheeks as he breathed heavily. James sat there, watching the scene. "Dad!"

James didn't listen, only watching the boy freak out. Mitch was sobbing now, looking up at Alex. Alex walked over, his pocket knife falling out of his pocket. Mitch saw it and screamed the loudest he could, the door opening to show Avi and Kevin on the other side. Avi ran over to his son, putting his hands on his son's small shoulders.

"Mitch, it's okay. No one is here to hurt you," Avi reassured, his deep voice soft. Mitch looked up at his dad, calming down a bit. Mitch sobbed once more, closing his eyes as Avi ran a hand through his son's hair. "Shhh, calm down baby. It's okay. It's all okay. You're okay. No one is here to hurt you."

Mitch nodded, tears still rolling down his cheeks as Kevin went to pick him up. Mitch flinched a bit, whimpering silently as the tall man picked him up. When he saw that it was his dad, he was quick to wrap his arms around his dad's neck. He closed his eyes, just wanting to sleep forever.

"I'll bring him next week," Avi whispered, looking at this therapist. James nodded, looking at his son. "I just forgot to give him his medication."

Alex raised an eyebrow, wondering why Mitch seemed so...scared of his other dad. Why is he so scared of every male he sees? Could a male have a fear of males? Was that even possible?

Why am I so interested in him?

At 2:27 A.M, while the teens were together doing whatever, the parents had that time to spend with each other. The Olusolas, Hoyings, and Anjelica were laughing, the doorbell interrupting their laughter.

"Wonder who that could be?" Kevin questioned, standing up. He looked over at his friends, shaking his head as he sat down. "Probably some crazy kids. Anyway, you're planning to send Scott to military school?"

"That's the only option we have," Connie answered, looking up at Rick sadly. Rick nodded, shaking his head in disapproval of his son. "After all he put Mitch through. Poor kid."

"Mitch is an absolute sweetheart. He still calls me Ms. Maldonado after all these years," Anjelica replied softly, bringing smiles to Avi and Kevin's faces. "So sweet and nice yet so shy and timid at times. Excuse me for asking, but is he still clean?"

"Yes, he is," Avi responded proudly, putting sad smiles on everyone's faces. He sighed, looking at a picture of his son. "He's been through so much. He seems to adjust easily though. He came back from rehab two weeks ago. He's so happy."

"That's good," Rick commented, the house phone ringing like crazily. The doorbell went off too, causing Avi to stand up this time. "You get the door, I get the phone."

Avi laughed, walking over to the door and opened it, widening his eyes at the sight. It was Scott and Kirstie, their clothes and hands covered with blood. Kirstie was crying, unable to speak as Scott had tears run down his cheeks.

"Mi-Mi-" Scott tried to get out, breaking down in tears as someone in the living room screamed. Avi let the two teenagers in, Anjelica crying her eyes out while Connie was in her husband's embrace, crying silently as she shook her head. Kevin had tears rolling down his cheeks, moving around quickly to get some stuff together.

"Kevin," Avi called out, getting his husband's attention. Kevin nodded, stopping to look at his husband. "What hap-"

"Mitch was stabbed. They found his body in the woods. He's in critical condition."

In that moment, in ten years, was the first time anyone besides Kevin see Avi break down into tears.

A/N: Well...this is getting interesting.xD If you are confused, Scott and Kirstie are pretending like they weren't the ones that hurt Mitch. Mitch is going to have to fight to prove that they did that. Of course, he can't do it on his own.;) Also, a very special person knows very important parts in the story. That person knows who she is.;) Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
