Part one to the something that will make you guys happy.:)

Thank you so much for the votes, you guys.💕

Also, since you guys like Mario and Mitch's friendship so much...

This chapter will be based on their friendship!!!

It will be very happy and angsty, but we loves it!

ON TO THE STORY.

Mario walked into his choir class, a prominent frown on his face. Everyone in there looked at him and wondered what was going on and why Mario wasn't smiling like he always does. Scott and Kirstie were confused too, wondering were
Mitch was.

He probably overdosed or something.

The thought made them laugh.

"Hello, class," Miss. Winters, the choir director, spoke up. The class shared a look, scared by Miss. Winters' behavior. "As you can tell, we're missing someone."

"It's Mitch!"

"Is he okay?"

"Is he sick?"

"Does he have cancer? He looked very skinny the last time I saw him. His clothes were practically falling off his body."

More and more students spoke up while Scott and Kirstie smirked at each other, looking over at Mario. Mario had tears in his eyes and refused to speak until...

"Mario knows what happened," Kirstie blurted out, causing everyone to look at Mitch's friend. "I mean, you and Mitch are boyfriends, aren't you? You know what happened to your slut."

"Kirstin, I will not tolerate such name calling in my class," Miss. Winters demanded, glaring at the blonde. Kirstie shrugged her shoulders and went back to talking to Scott, ignoring all the glares sent her way. "Anyway, like I was saying before Kirstie interrupted, Mario? Would you like to say what is happening to Mitch at the moment?"

Mario was about to answer, but all that came out was a sob. He shook his, crying silently as he looked over at the empty chair next to him.

Mitch's chair.

"Here you go, Mario," a student murmured, handing him a tissue. He nodded a thanks and wiped his eyws, trying his best to lessen the next round of tears. Everyone besides Scott and Kirstie began to look concerned, wondering what was going on with their favorite tenor.

"Mitch's parents gave the school a call and the principal called Mitch's teachers up to her office," Miss. Winters began, her voice shaking and cracking on almost every word. She wiped her eyes, smudging her mascara a bit. "Mitch...is going through a dark time in his life right now."

Miss. Winters let out a tiny sob, thanking a student when he handed her a tissue. She wiped her eyes before speaking again.

"Mitch is in Texas right now. He's going to be in rehab for eleven months."

People around Mario gasped, looks of shock on their faces. Some began to cry while others looked at Mitch's chair, wondering why Mitch was in rehab in the first place.

"But wait," Scott spoke up, a mocking emotion in his voice. Mario curled his hand up, wanting to hurt Scott so bad. "Why is he in rehab?"

"He was...doing drugs," Miss. Winters whispered, getting mix of emotions from everyone.

"Mitch did drugs?!"

"He is the last person I would have expected to do something like that!"

"I feel like someone made him to do it. He just chose to keep on doing it on his own."

As more people spoke, Miss. Winters went off to her office and Mario stood up. He walked out of the classroom and sat down in front of lockets, crying loudly. He looked at the bracelet that he made for himself and gave a similar one to Mitch in his birthday and realized one thing.

He wanted Mitch.

So bad.

"I miss you, Mitch. So, so much. Please get better. Please."

Mario was incomplete without Mitch.

~~~
"Mitch, we can't get anything done if you don't talk."
Mitch looked at nothing, jolting every few seconds. Withdrawal was so hard.
He hated it.
"Mitch, listen to me!"
Mitch played with the bracelet Mario have to him on his tenth birthday, tearing up slightly. Mario made it last minute because he was sick the entire week before Mitch's birthday and didn't have time to buy something so with some red string and a couple of beads, Mario made friendship bracelets for him and Mitch.
It was Mitch's favorite gift.
"Do you just not want to talk?" His therapist talked softly, sadness evident in her voice. Mitch nodded, letting a tear roll down his face. "Mitch, I don't think I could do that. I know it's your first real day here and you're adjusting, but you have to talk. It's the rules."
"I don't know what to talk about," Mitch got out, crying a bit as he played with his bracelet. He tugged on the bracelet a bit, getting more upset. "I just do-"
Mitch widened his eyes as he felt the bracelet fall off his wrist, the beads falling off the string that was now ripped. Mitch watched as the string fell off his wrist, shaking his head as he picked up the 'M' bead Mario put on there many years ago. The therapist watched Mitch as he looked at the ruined bracelet, feeling her heart break as Mitch cried. He picked up the string, shaking his head as he looked at his therapist.
"My best friend made this for when we were ten. It's ruined. I'm such a horrible friend."
"No you're not," his therapist spoke softly, walking over to Mitch. She sat down next to him, picking up a cat bead. "Do you want to talk about your friend?"
"Always. Mario is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. He has this amazing voice that I'm surprised that no one appreciates it more. He's just this ball of sunshine that if you're having a gloomy day, he makes it better. I don't think I'll have a sunshiney day anymore."
Mitch cried loudly, standing up before his therapist could say anything. He ran out of the room, crying to himself as he tried his best to find his room. As he was doing this, his phone began to ring and he picked it up, not checking the contact before answering.
"Hello?"
"Mitch? Are you okay?"
"Mario? Mitch asked, his voice shaking as he sobbed. "No, I'm not. I'm a horrible friend. I'm sorry."
"No you're not. What happened that made you think like that?"
Mitch sobbed as he went to his room, throwing himself on his bed. He was practically gasping for air as he called his friend. Mario must be getting impatient.
"Mitch, take your time. It's okay. Take a deep breath."
Mitch obeyed, taking a deep breath as he tried to calm down. It took a few minutes, but Mario was still on the line. Mitch took one last deep breath before answering.
"I ruined my friendship bracelet, Mario. I'm so sorry. You must hate me. I'm so sorry."
Mitch cried once more, inconsolable about the entire thing. He tried to stop, but he couldn't. Until...
"Mitch, Mitch, Mitch...I could never be mad at you."
Mitch sobbed in relief, smiling wetly before speaking.
"You're my best friend, Mario."
"And you're my best friend, Mitch."
Mitch was incomplete without Mario.
~~~

"Happy birthday, Mitchy," Mario yelled put, smiling widely. Mitch smiled too, running downstairs to hug his friend. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too," Mitch practically yelled, putting smiles on his fathers' faces. Mitch was never this loud around people. "Why were you gone all week?"

"I was sick. I wanted to hang out with you, but my mom said that in order for me to go to your party I had to stay home," Mario replied, rolling his eyes as he gave Mitch his present. "I hope you like this. It's not the best. I'm very sorry."

"It's okay," Mitch reassured, handing Avi the present. "My dads always tell me that all that matters in life is if you give people presents out of love, not money."

"You are the smartest kid in the world. I will never think of you being stupid," Kevin commented, hugging Mitch. Mitch smiled, screeching when Kevin gave him a noogie. "Sorry for messing up your hair!"

"Let him go," Avi commented playfully, looking at his watch. "It's three o' clock! People should be coming in no time!"

"Yay! Mario, let's play something fun until everyone comes!"

Mario nodded, the two boys playing with whatever made their hearts happy. And time went on.

And on.

And on.

Mitch frowned as he looked at the clock, noticing that it was 3:30. He walked up to Kevin, his brown eyes full of confusion.

"Daddy, why isn't anybody here yet? It's past three."

Kevin frowned, knowing what was happening. Nobody is coming to Mitch's birthday and that broke his heart. Kevin sighed before smiling weakly.

"Maybe they messed up the times. I'm sure they'll be here in no time."

Mitch smiled, running off to play with Mario again. Avi frowned, tearing up at the sight of innocent son and friend. Nobody else has arrived.

And that was the first thing he never wanted to happen to Mitch, but now it is.

Eventually, 3:30 became 4:00 and 4:00 became 5:00 and Mitch was in tears, crying quietly as Kevin hugged him close. (A/N: No joke. I'm about to cry writing this.) Mario frowned, wondering what was going on.

"Avi, why is Mitch crying?" Mario asked, wanting nothing more than to hug his friend. Avi sighed, wiping his eyes before answering.

"Do you know how you have a mom and dad?"

Mario nodded, looking back at his friend. Avi cleared his throat before talking.

"Well, Mitch had a mom and dad, but they couldn't take care of him so Kevin and I adopted him. Although everyone deserves to be parents, not everyone thinks like that."

"Why?"

"It's called prejudice, Mario. The parents of the kids invited to Mitch's party aren't accepting people. They don't like people like me or Kevin and so they make opinions about us that aren't true. They don't care that we're good parents. They don't like us."

"I like you guys though. My parents do too."

"That's very nice, Mario," Avi commented, smiling as he grabbed the present from the table. "I think you need to give this to him."

Mario nodded, taking the present from Avi and walked over to Mitch. Kevin was wiping the tears off of Mitch's face and smiled when Mario came over, hoping that the little boy didn't see the tears in his eyes.

"Mitch, I agree something. I hope you like it."

"Thank you," Mitch whimpered out, taking the small package from his friend. He opened it carefully, gasping slightly. "Mario, are these...?"

"Yep. Friendship bracelets. So if something happens and we are separated, we will never be incomplete. Our friendship is forever."

"Forever?"

"Forever."

At that moment, Mitch and Mario's friendship became stronger than ever before.

And will never break, no matter what happens between them.

Never.

A/N: Well, I hope this makes you guys happy!!! I just adore Mitch and Mario's friendship! Also, Mario may or may not appear in the next chapter.;) Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
