Anyway...

WARNING: drug use

Comments? ^_^

NOTE: Hey, guys. I'm changing this chapter up a bit. Reason why? Well...I did something in this chapter is regret. So instead of Scott hurting Mitch, I'm doing something different. I hope y'all don't mind.

One month.

Drugs.

Mitch.

Those are words Mitch never thought he would use in a sentence when he was talking about himself, but now he does.

Does he care?

Nope, not at all.

His personality took a turn for a worse. He used to be shy, quiet, reserved, and sweet. Now he's outgoing, loud, rambunctious, and rude, a complete opposite from his old personality. He had 'study nights', which was just him and Scott and Kirstie doing drugs. They usually did cocaine and heroin, but Mitch didn't dare to do marijuana in front of Scott.

He didn't want Scott to think that he was getting addicted yet it was obvious. Students knew, teachers were suspicious, and his partners were on his back. He just wanted to run away so no one ha to worry about him.

He wanted to run away with Scott forever.

Why?

Because he loves Scott.

And he would do anything to be with the man who started his unhealthy addiction.

~~~
"I've lost $900 in the past month!"
"Why?!"
"I don't know!"
Mitch became wide eyed, picking at his food. He snorted some cocaine at Kirstie's house and his appetite was not there. He wore long sleeves now, hoping that his dads won't see the bruises on his arms from the heroin he was doing.
What happens if they find out he does drugs?
What would they do?
Will they ground him?
Will they find the drugs he hid under his bed?
Will they-
"Mitch, what's wrong? You look like you're about to get sick."
Mitch stood up, running into the bathroom so he could "throw up". He took out the baggie of weed, his heart dropping when there wasn't even a pinch-full left. He shook his head, flushing the toilet so he could make it seem like he did get sick. He ran into his room, widening his eyes when he saw his pillow thrown across the room and no drugs.
At all.
Who took my dr-
"Hi."
Mitch jumped, looking around to see Scott standing by his closet. There in his hand was the cocaine and heroin Mitch bought from Kirstie not too long ago, along with some weed.
That Scott wasn't supposed to see.
"When were you going to tell me that you were doing weed, uh? Is this some sick trick?! I told you not to do weed!"
Mitch turned on his radio, turning it up so his dads won't hear him. There were tears in his eyes, Scott's glare scaring him to no end. He swallowed the lump in his throat, taking a deep breath before talking.
"Kirstie gave it to me. She gave it to me without you knowing and told me not to tell you. I'm not lying, I promise."
"Says the boy that lied his way out of doing homework until November because of 'mental health issues'. You aren't exactly someone that could be trusted, Mitchell. Not anymore. You were sexier when you were skittish, shy, annoying. Now you're just a fake!"
With that said, Mitch backed off a bit, landing on his bed. Tears fell down his cheeks, the symptoms of cocaine slowly taking over his body. He sobbed quietly, unable to talk as Scott glared at him.
All stayed quiet until Scott thought up an apposition.
An evil one.
"I'll give you back your drugs, for free, and I'll let you do weed."
Mitch stood up abruptly, nodding his head as wiped away his tears. He's getting his drugs back!
Right?
"Yes, I'll do that! I'll-"
"On one condition!"
Mitch stopped talking, nodding as Scott walked towards him. Mitch tensed up as Scott put down the drugs on his bedside table, looking into his friend's eyes.
They seemed...lost, confused.
Like he was forced to do this and had no way to get out of it.
"You and are going to be in a relationship. No excuses. You either do that or I'll call the cops and I'll make sure that you will be arrested and sentenced for a long time."
Mitch was unable to talk, wanting to cry as Scott put his other hand under his shirt. He didn't want to be in relationship yet, especially not with Scott.
Anything for drugs though which was better than jail time...
Right?
Mitch wanted drugs, but he didn't want to be in the relationship.
But that isn't rape, it can't be.
Old Mitch would have said no.
He would have told the truth to his parents.
He would have thrown away the drugs.
He would have accepted rehab.
But he did what he had to do.
"Okay, I'll date you."
Scott smiled and kissed Mitch, Mitch not fighting back as the older male kissed him.
He's in a relationship now.
All because of drugs.
And Scott.
He couldn't help but think that this wasn't controlling.
It can't be.
Right?
~~~

"Wait, you're datinf Scott Hoying?!"

"Yep," Mitch replied, not wanting people to know him and Scott are dating. He didn't want to have a relationship anymore, but he don't want to go to jail. "But keep it down. I don't want anyone to know."

Mitch's friend nodded his head, looking back at the board when the school nurse came in, looking directly at Mitch. She looked away, whispering in the teacher's ear, the both of them looking at him before the teacher called Mitch.

"Mitchell, the nurse has to see you."

Mitch nodded, gathering his stuff so he could talk to the nurse. He waved to his friend, ignoring the 'oohs' from the students he walked past. He smiled at the nurse shyly, following her as he lead him to the nurse's office. Once there, she gave him a box of-

Condoms?!

"Wh-why are you giving me this?" Mitch asked, blushing uncontrollably as the nurse smiled at him sweetly. "I-I don't understand."

"My nephew is Scott Hoying and he told me how you two got into a relationship last night! He said that you didn't have any condoms and that he didn't want his parents to find out that he has to buy some so give those to him! You two will need it."

If this is what embarrassment and cringing felt like, Mitch would be more than happy to not feel those emotions. He's felt both emotions too many times to count.

But...being in a relationship?

With Scott?

Scott is rough and mean, nowhere near sweet and kind.

Mitch was about to speak when the door opened, Avi on the other side. He was glaring at Mitch, shaking his head as he showed the nurse an early release slip with Mitch's name on it.

"I will like to take my son home with me. He's in trouble, big time!"

"Rush," Mitch whispered, giggling to himself before being dragged out of the office. Luckily, the condoms fell out of his hands and the nurse didn't call him back. "What do you want?!"

Mitch was brought out to the car, being shoved in roughly. Avi slammed the door, going to his side before slamming his own door, glaring at his son angrily.

"I found the drugs, Mitchell. You better explain to me right now, young man."

"It's Scott and Kirstie's."

"That's BS. Tell the truth now!"

"I am!"

"No you're not!"

"Why don't you believe me?!"

"Because it's hard to trust you now! Where did that sweet boy go because right now, I'm looking at an imposter."

Mitch was unable to talk, glaring out the window when he looked back at his father.

What he said was nothing like old Mitch would have said, even if he was angry as his parents.

"Maybe if you weren't so high strung and nagged a lot, I wouldn't be like this! It's your fault!"

Avi was unable to speak, a lump in his throat as he continued to drive. Mitch shook his head, looking out of the window as he thought about how much he changed.

He hated it.

He hated being rude.

Hated being mean.

Every trait he has now are traits he couldn't stand and he hated it.

Why wasn't he changing though?

He wanted to change, but he didn't want to lose these drugs. They've made him happier, more confident...

He just wished that there was some other way he could have done that.

Avi pulled up, looking over at his son angrily before taking a deep breath. He has never disciplined Mitch before.

"You are not to hang out from Scott and Kirstie for two weeks. They have had a negative impact on yo-"

"NO!"

"Mitchell!"

Mitch thought about Scott calling the police, shaking his head once more before talking again.

"Kirstie, Scott, and I need to study for finals. We need to study so we don't fail. This test is so important and hard. Please let me see them."

In other words, please find out those drugs are mine. Scott and I are in a relationship, but I don't want it. It's no big deal though! I'm having it so the police don't find out I'm doing drugs.

"Fine," Avi mumbled, shaking his head as he looked at his son. "You have extra chores then. You are expected to be home by 8:00 every night. Any rules breaking will result in a grounding. Understood?"

"Yes, Pops."

"Good."

Mitch opened the car door, looking at his watch. School was almost done and Scott would probably want him to go on a date. He was crying silently, unable to wrap his mind around this.

Why did this happen?!

For the first time in over a month, Mitch realized something.

He wanted to be old Mitch again.

A/N: The old Mitch is coming back! I apologize for not updating this for a little while, lol. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
