ON WITH THE STORY

Also...I'm sorry, but...

WARNING: implication of death

Funerals.

They are always hard, no matter who dies. Someone could be the most hated person ever and their funeral could be the saddest event anyone has ever attended.

Yet Jeremy wasn't hated. He was loved and he made everyone's day by just a smile. He never did anything wrong, but now he's dead and his funeral is today because of some messed up person who killed him in a horrible and gruesome way.

And the police officers are pulling Kirstie out of the case.

Why?

Because there was no way that she would have done that. She loved Jeremy too much and wouldn't even think of killing him yet there is a lot of evidence that Kirstie killed him.

Yet she is being set free while Jeremy's friends and family suffer from their loss.

And Mitch hated it.

Alex sat by Mitch the entire time, rubbing his hand up and down the younger boy's back as Mitch cried. Mitch was practically sobbing, refusing to look at the coffin in front of him. Kirstie was nowhere to be found so Mitch was hoping that this will help with the fact that Kirstie was the one who killed Jeremy.

He hated this.

Mario was on the other side of Mitch, sending glares at Alex every few seconds and made sure Alex caught them every time. Alex did, but he didn't say anything. He deserved everything glare Mario sent his way.

He would do the same to anyone who hurt Mitch.

"Thank you for attending Jeremy's funeral. His burial will be later today."

Everyone stood up, Mitch walking over to Mario right away. Alex watched with tear filled eyes and a broken heart as Mitch threw himself on Mario, the loud sobs shaking his little body. Mario held his friend tightly, glaring at Alex once more before he murmured something to Mitch. Mitch nodded and Mario walked over to Alex, his eyes sad yet lips tight as he leaned over.

"Be nice to him or I will make you feel the pain he has felt because of you."

Alex nodded slowly, looking down when Mario walked off. Alex walked over to Mitch, frowning before he spoke.

But what should he say? Should he tell Mitch that he's sorry for Jeremy dying?

No. You never say that to anyone.

That he looked cute bald?

He did, but that was the last thing on Mitch's mind at the moment.

That he looked good in black?

True, but that is the last thing you should say to anyone at a funeral.

Tell him the love he had for him so they could be together forever?

Eh, it was worth a shot.

Here goes.

"Um, Mitch. I-I want to tell you something."

Mitch nodded, wiping his eyes as he looked over at Alex. Funerals were hard and one of the last things Mitch ever wanted to face.

The first thing was Avi dying.

"Yes, Alex?"

Alex was about to answer and was about to speak when he was interrupted.

Interrupted by Mitch's lips.

Alex was wide-eyed, but he closed his eyes too and put his hand on the bottom of Mitch's head tenderly. The boys kissed with all the passion and heartbreak they have kept in themselves for so long, the pain they wanted to keep to themselves.

But now they revealed it to each other.

And they loved each other even more because of it.

"I love you."

"I love you."

~~~
Mitch was laying down in bed, smiling softly as Alex kissed the top of his bald head. Alex kept Mitch close to him, admiring the scars that littered Mitch's entire body and wanting to kiss each one so he wouldn't feel insecure about them.
So that's what Alex did.
Alex kissed the scar on Mitch's forehead, making the smaller boy giggle as he allowed Alex to kiss the rest of the scars on his body. Alex's hand traveled down to the prosthetic leg, removing it gently so he could touch the stub. Mitch turned over, becoming self-conscious as Alex stared at his stub.
But Alex persisted.
"No, no. Baby, let me see. You're beautiful."
Mitch nodded, letting Alex touch the part of his body he was insecure in. Alex looked at Mitch while keeping a gentle hand on the part that was once full but now is empty. Alex kissed Mitch once more, breathing quietly as he separated himself from the boy he wanted to give his all too.
"You're so beautiful, Mitch. So, so beautiful."
"No I'm not."
Alex shook his head, moving his hands up to Mitch's head before speaking once more.
"Then let me prove it."
Mitch nodded as he closed his eyes, Alex kissing him again while he ran his hands up and down the scarred body. Mitch shivered when Alex touched the one on his clavicle, unbuttoning his shirt to show an inch long scar on his chest.
Right where his heart is.
"I was half an inch away from death. I used to want to die, but now that you're here; you made everything better. I'll never get better again, but I  will do everything I can to get better because of you."
Alex shook his head, kissing the scar on Mitch's chest gently before looking back at the beautiful boy he wanted to call his.
"Don't get better because of me, love. Get better for yourself because only you could get to determine when you're better again."
Mitch smiled, yawning as he snuggled closer to Alex when he remembered about his kidney failure, sighing deeply before looking at Alex.
"Alex, I have a reason of why I'm not going to therapy anymore. Do you want to know why?"
"Only if you're comfortable, love."
Mitch nodded, taking a deep breath before answering.
"I have kidney failure, Alex. I'm on dialysis, but if I decide to take myself off of it, I could die in a few weeks, months, years even. Am I scared? No. I've faced death so many times that I'll be surprised if I don't die."
"You won't," Alex murmured softly, tearing up once more before talking again. "How about a transplant?"
"I need one, just one, healthy kidney to survive. My doctor is looking into that right now."
Alex nodded and was about to say something when Kevin ran inside his son's room, not seeming to care about a random man straddling his son. Mitch's heart skipped a beat as he looked at Kevin, gulping before he nodded at his father.
"Yes, Dad?"
"You have a kidney, Mitch. Someone is going to give their kidney to you. You're going to survive."
Mitch widened his eyes, smiling as he cried and screamed, jumping out of his bed to hug Kevin tightly. Kevin smiled, shushing Mitch as he hugged his son back. Alex waved awkwardly at Kevin, causing Kevin to raise an eyebrow. The father was about to ask who Alex was, but he shook his head and went back to hugging his son.
"Where's Pops?!"
"Um, the hospital."
Mitch nodded, running out the door crazily.
He's finally healthy.
~~~

(Abuse)

"Why should I care about him?! He's an idiot!"

Kirstie's friends nodded their heads until Scott stomped over, glaring at Kirstie angrily before speaking up.

"Kirstin, we have to talk. Now."

"Oohhhh, nerdy boy is finally confident," Kirstie commented, getting her friends to laugh. Scott continued to glare, refusing to lose to Kirstie's scrutinizing remarks towards him. "Okay, okay. I'll talk. I just don't like it when peasants talk to me."

Scott felt his chest tighten, the remark hurting him like a bunch of bricks. Kirstie's friends laughed once more as Scott tried his best not to cry, knowing that if he did, he would only get made fun of even more.

"Please, now?"

"Ugh, okay. Hold up. Don't push me or you'll get it later. You need a new scar anyway."

Scott hated getting scars from Kirstie. Let's just say she's into people getting in pain. She found it...

Alluring, attractive, satisfying.

All words that should never be associated with pain.

Unless you're into it. If you're into it, Scott wouldn't judge you for it. He's the last person to judge anyone.

"Let's go, peasant. We could ditch."

Scott sighed, nodding as he followed Kirstie because he knew very well that of he didn't ditch, Kirstie will not hesitate to hurt him.

She humiliated Mitch and she's abusing Scott.

How fun.

Scott and Kirstie finally arrived to the Maldonado house, Scott not even jumping when Kirstie slapped him hard across his face.

He was used to it.

"What do you want that is not relevant to me?! Why do you always intervene with my fun?! You're so rude!"

Another slap.

"I hate you so much! Take it like a man!"

Kirstie pulled Scott's hair, managing to make his scream at the pain inflicted upon him. Kirstie shook her head, gripping his hair tighter.

"You're such a wimp, Scott. Such a wimp. Your parents are disappointed in you. I would be surpirsed if they weren't."

Scott teared up, knowing what Kirstie said was true. That's why he has been a troublemaker ever since his freshman year of high school. That's why he always got grounded.

He believed his family hated himself so he acted like this to prove that he hated them too.

Even though he loved them with all his heart.

"Have nothing to say? You're a wi-"

"Mitch is in rehab and he is not improving because he chose not to! He wants to keep doing drugs and he wants you to send them!"

Lie.

Kirstie widened her eyes, letting go of Scott's hair as she nodded. Scott always knew how to hold of Kirstie's gullible side.

"Okay. Since you care about him more, I'll give you the drugs and you could mail them to him and say it's from me. Here."

Scott nodded his thanks to Kirstie when she gave him the small bag of cocaine, running out of her house before he could hurt him more. Once he got home, he took a long look at the bag and shook his head.

"You ruined my life, my friend's life. How could you?"

Scott walked over to the bathroom, opening the toilet seat to dump the life changing drug down. He flushed it right away, shaking his head as he glared at it.

"You're disgusting and vile. You ruined everything."

Scott walked off, the KTM symbol on his wrist hurting less than it did yesterday but feeling more like a brand than anything. Scott rubbed at it, sighing as he teared up.

"Why do I let her take over me?"

Scott sobbed a bit, wishing that Kirstie  was never in his life. She brought bad things with her.

Except for Mitch.

A/N: Here's the chapter that was in the sneak peek yesterday! I am sure you guys know who the person giving Mitch his new kidneys are. I better prepare myself for angry people, lol. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
