Red (Demon) PART 1
Once upon a time, in a peaceful corner of the world, there was a child named Red. Red was a bright, cheerful child with a smile that could light up even the cloudiest of days. His warmth and joy were matched only by the love of his family—a devoted mother, a caring father, and a playful younger sister. Together, they lived in the idyllic community of Stikingdere's Zone A1, a picturesque area often referred to as the Rolling Hills for its endless stretches of gently sloping terrain and lush, green vistas.
The family's home was a two-story masterpiece, nestled at the edge of the hills. It was a spacious and comfortable abode, offering the perfect sanctuary for Red and his loved ones. With three cozy bedrooms, four well-appointed bathrooms, and a guest suite tucked away in the basement, there was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. In total, the house spanned 2,850 square feet, providing ample room for family activities, laughter, and memories to be made.
As they sat together in their bright, open living room or gathered around the dinner table, it was clear that this home was everything they could have dreamed of and more. Surrounded by nature's beauty, with neighbors who were friends and a community that felt like family, what more could they possibly need? It seemed as if the world had blessed them with all they could ever ask for—a home filled with love, warmth, and endless possibilities.
The child named Red was a charmed young boy with a pure soul, only 5 years old at the time, yet already full of wonder and curiosity about the world around him. His infectious smile and boundless energy were a joy to everyone who met him. He shared his childhood with his older sister, Alicia, a bright and witty 9-year-old who had a sharp mind and an adventurous spirit. Though their age gap was a bit wide, the siblings had a strong bond, often playing together in the yard or sharing secrets late at night.
Red's mother, Kaitlyn, was a woman of quiet strength, her soft voice always soothing and her patience endless. She held a deep respect for others, always taking time to listen and understand. Her gentle presence balanced the lively energy of her children, making their home feel like a haven. His father, Liam, was a former member of the SPD (Special Police Department), a man who had seen his share of the world's challenges but had a tender side that only those closest to him could truly appreciate. At 29, Liam was a softie when it came to his family, always quick with a hug or a word of encouragement for his children.
At 26, Kaitlyn and Liam were still young themselves, yet they had built a life full of love and security for their children. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home where laughter, respect, and understanding were at the heart of every day. As a family, they were not just a unit—they were each other's best friends, each bringing their own unique strengths to the shared life they were building in Stikingdere's Zone A1.
They loved their life in Stikingdere; It was all they could've ever asked for in their lives. Each child with their own unique personality and the friendliest of friends. They had the life that some people could only dream of.
But of course...
In the world of Stikingdere, nothing stays safe from the Chains of Fate...
It was around lunchtime when the Chains of Fate fell upon Stikingdere, taking people and Stikingderions away from their only families and friends.
The poor child, Red, and his sister, Alicia, were playing Hide and Go Seek outside when it had occurred. Alicia was seeker and Red was Hider. Red always knew where the best places to hide in Hide and Seek were: The Forest of Redemption.
It was odd that people named the forest that, it didn't look anything like a forest for redeeming purposes to Red. He knew his parents would never let him hide there because it was apparently "dangerous" to go inside. They were right; Especially since the Chains of Fate fell upon them all.
He was in a tree hiding when his sister finally finished counting and was looking around for him. She looked behind some boulders and bushes, but she didn't find him there. She looked behind some houses and fences, and yet again, nothing. She started to get worried about her younger brother when suddenly the world started to shake and the skies turned black while the sun turned a crimson red.
Chains suddenly came down from the skies and abducted people left and right as she watched in terror, unable to even think about anything. She snapped back to consciousness to get to her first priority, her younger brother, and then go home to their parents where it was safe.
///
The child in the tree was astonished yet confused by the sudden change in atmosphere. He saw people being attacked by long black and red glowing chains from who knows where in the sky and being yanked away without a second thought. Many have fallen to the Chains of Fate that day and the child could to nothing but watch.
He snapped out of his trance once he heard his sister crying out for his name.
"Red! Red, where are you! Please come out we need to go to somewhere else! It's not safe!" She'd plea for her brother continuously.
He looked towards his sister, only around 26 feet away on the ground below and called out to her, waving his hands to get her attention.
"I'm over here! Alicia! Over here—!"
He was cut of when suddenly the branch he sat upon in the tree snapped and he went falling 35 feet down to the ground. As he fell, he made eye contact with his sister, seeing the horror and sudden realization of the situation before he hit the ground with a thud.
The vibration of hitting the ground went through his body like a shotgun blast as many bones inside his body began to crack. Muscles were weakened and bruised as he tasted a subtle change in his mouth; Copper.
His sister immediately ran over to his body and saw the damage done to the poor child. She, not knowing what to do while her survival instinct kicked in, picked up her brother and threw him over her shoulder as she began making her way to their parents who were hopefully still at home.
