Borak (Shapeshifter) PART 1 🧸
In Stikingdere, there are different types of people who live in different areas, or danger levels, of Stikingdere. One of these danger levels is the Mainland; AKA the Rolling Hills. This Danger Level is marked as Danger Neutral or Zone A1.
Zone A1 is one of the safest areas in all of Stikingdere, due to how many Stikingderions and Humans live there. One of the places that humans live in was known as the City, a very dangerous place that resides in a dome and if you don't know the rules, your death is most likely inevitable. A character you might be familiar with who lived here, before it was destroyed, is named Staar.
Oh...getting a little sidetracked here...sorry reader.
Our story lies inside one of Zone A1's forests of redwood... The Forest of Redemption. The name sounds welcoming until you meet the many entities inside. It's sad really, many people go here to seek refuge and repentance and in return, they become victims of an entity.
Many entities that reside inside this forest are commonly known as Wendigo's and Decievers. Others that are harder to find include Shapeshifters, Walkers, Jeepers, Twisteds, Infecteds, False Ones and Shadowed Ones.
Starting with the least dangerous entity, the Walker, to the most dangerous, Shapeshifters.
Walkers
—————
An entity that is found commonly everywhere where people that go missing without a trace are. Mostly found in the more populated areas, when prey is easier to catch. Some of these areas include; The Ruined City, Zone A1, Zone A2, and Zone B1. These entities are described as fake versions of missing people. Very similar to the False Ones, a more dangerous version of a Walker, these entities take the skin of their prey to lure other prey to them as a bait in a way. These entities wear the skin of dead prey and sometimes will scream for help to lure prey. Around from 5-9 feet tall.
Jeepers
—————
An entity that is more commonly associated with big crowds of people where they can blend in easily. These entities are described as fleshy beings that walk like a very ✨distinguished✨ gentleman, and wear very fancy clothing that you'd most likely expect to see on a pimp or something. Usually have a cane or axe, never use their hands unless they have gloves. These are easy to find because everywhere they go, they sing some sort of old timey song like Jeepers Creepers. (Where they got the name Jeepers) Can be from 6-7 1/2 feet tall.
Twisteds
—————
Distorted beings of death that range from 3 to 8 feet tall and mostly walk on all fours. (If they even have 4 limbs.) Known for their ability to grow one of any limb and long talons, these beings like to turn their arms into blades and then use them to "twist" their prey. Most usual forms of hands will be talons, blades, normal hands or a demonic hand that has 4 fingers and is shaped like an X or +. Usually heard before seen, the Twisteds will make a very loud noise that sounds similar to "a bunch of triangle instruments falling off of a building" as said by witness 7381-J.
Infecteds
—————
Normal Stikingderions that were infected, like their name, by the orb. The orb was what started the whole "End of Stikingdere" back in the 3070's. Infected have 5 different levels of control over their vessels. The first level is the weakest and doesn't usually hurt the vessel but can cause sudden changes in behavior and attitude. Level 2 is more likely to hurt the vessel due to its spread onto the body. It will spread from wherever it is to around 7 inches in diameter all around and will sometimes suffocate the vessel. Level 3 and 4 are worse and will not let the vessel be able to speak or move on its own. Level 3 is more lenient with the spreading and control but will still be able to control the vessel. Level 4 is when the physical condition of the vessel becomes more deformed and more dependent on the infection. Level 5 is the deadliest level, where the vessel is un-save able and completely absorbed by the infection and will usually create extra limbs or wings on the vessel.
Shadowed Ones
—————
The shadowed ones are usually indescribable, due to being a shadow and all. These beings like are formed when a Shadow-Type Stikingderion loses all sense of its sanity and use to live. Some beings that become Shadowed Ones will be able to reshape their appearance into something more complex or comforting to the being to make it at home. These beings can be anywhere from 1 to 15 feet tall and change their physical appearance.
False Ones
—————
These beings are copies of already existing beings from Stikingderions to humans that are usually deformed or stretched out too much. One of these beings takes the shape of some of our known characters from Stikingdere. One of which is Twig. His FO is extremely tall, at a staggering 12 feet tall and very thin with its bones poking out of its skin. FO's are mostly noticed by their eyes that glow a luminous white light in the darkness of wherever they may be. The FO's love to be in areas that are secluded and dark such as forests, abandoned or forgotten areas, or even inside peoples homes without them knowing. FO's follow a weird rule in their lives that they know from creation. This rule is to find their original, AKA, the real person. If a FO that takes the form of, per say, Yellow for example, they will search for him for the rest of their existence and once they've found him, they'll kill him and then finally be able to "rest".
Shapeshifters
—————
Shapeshifters, or doppelgängers, are one of the most dangerous beings in Stikingdere History. Followed by Wendigo's, the Shapeshifters are known to feast only upon human beings but not Stikingderions. Although these beings do kill Stikingderions from time to time, they will dispose of the bodies elsewhere instead of consuming it. Shapeshifters are commonly described as "Massive shadow creatures with teeth the size of pencils" and usually have up to three eyes on their head. These dangerous beings that we know of today, the shapeshifters, are almost completely extinct. From what we know of, there are only two left in existence today. Borak and [REDACTED]. These two are moral enemies. Borak has been known to almost kill itself to make sure it doesn't harm humans, trying to make alliances with humans and Stikingderions again. This shapeshifter is one of the friendliest we've seen in millenniums. A very long time ago, shapeshifters and Stikingderions used to work together until, that is, the Chains of Fate rained upon us all, causing death and chaos. We each blamed each other for it but in reality, it was never either of our fault. [REDACTED] is a very dangerous and powerful shapeshifter that is known to travel from multiverse to multiverse in search for a being that is "worthy" of death so it may consume its power.
This story is about Borak itself.
