TRAVIS POV
I was minding my own business, sleeping, when Conner woke me up.
" What do you want, Conner? I'm trying to get some beauty sleep here.", I grumble.
Conner's younger than me so I can threaten him all I can.
" New camper just came across the border.", he said.
" Fine, I'm up, I'm up.", I replied giving in.  I put on a shirt and followed Conner up to Thalia's pine tree.  Everybody was crowded around a new camper. I eventually pushed through enough to see her. Someone asked her her name.
" I'm Katie. Katie Gardner.", she said.
"Gardner? Must be a Demeter kid.", Conner whispered.
I wasn't really paying attention to him. Katie was the only person I was staring at. She was beautiful.
