Now time to hear there story.
From Dick's point of view. He's totally my favourite. Can you tell? Heh. Time to begin the devastation. The heart breaking story. (Possibly. I'm not entirely sure how it's going to turn out. Just going with the flow I guess.)

---Dick's/Robin's P.O.V. ---

I walked through the Zeta Beam to the Batcave. I looked around. It was unusually quiet. No one was here. Guess luck's on my side today.

I sighed as I walked to the Batcomputer.

I ran my hand through my hair, and took off my mask, as I plumted onto the large seat in front of me.

My mind was screaming at me to just sleep, but I had to stay awake.

Why was that again?

Why did I have to stay awake again? I think it was something about research. I'm sure a little nap wouldn't hurt...

I was snapped out of my tired state when I heard the roar that is the Batmoblie. I jumped slightly then hid in the shadows.
Red X, (Tim) was the first to jump out. He seemed stressed. That's a first.

Nightwing climbed out followed by Batman, then Red Hood.
Red hood was grumbling something I couldn't decipher.

"Stupid Joker..." I heard Nightwing mutter. I held in a groan. Joker? Again? That's like, the third time this month! What's he planning?

Batman walked up to the Batcomputer and typed away bringing up different types of research. Everyone walked up and stared at the information at the screen.

"There has to be some sort of pattern somewhere..." Bruce muttered taking off his cowl.

I stared intensely at the screen, before I noticed something. There was a pattern. At each of the burnt sites there was a barely noticeable piece of metal. That belonged to... A stopwatch? One of the stores burnt was a clock store, belonging to David Hudson. I mentally scowled. These fires were no coincidence. I'm pretty sure only I knew this, But David Hudson was a supposed to be retired villain. I knew he wasn't because once he tried to kill me when I brought it up at a crime scene he was faking to be terrified at. I moved through the shadows towards the clock, making sure I was as quiet as possible. David Hudson. Yeah right. That wasn't even his real name! Bruce will probably figure that out on his own though. He doesn't need me to tell him. He's the world's best detective. He'll figure it out. Right? Of course he will.

I took one last glance at the Batcomputer, with a smug grin, before turning around to step through the clock, when I walked straight into a wall. How intelligent. Now their going to know I'm here for sure. Totally feeling the aster. I looked up to see that the wall I walked into was actually a hard-headed Jason. I looked up at his stern face, and gave a sheepish grin.

"Whats up Todd?" I asked.

"That's what I wanna know. What are you doing up at this time?" He asked, picking me up by my hoodie.

"Hey, put me down!" I shouted, as I aimed a punch at his chest.

"No can do, little bird." He laughed, as he pulled me up higher, my punch missing and my feet dangling off the ground, our faces now level.

"You should be in bed."

"So should you!" I shouted.

"I'm older birdie."

"Who cares? Now put me down!" I shouted again. He laughed at me.

"Stupid little..." I muttered.
My shades slipped off from all the struggling. I closed my eyes.

"Bruce!" I whined. "Tell Jason to put me down!"

"Jason! Put Dick down! Dick! Go to bed!" Bruce shouted, not taking his eyes off the Batcomputer. Jason put me down, and smirked at me.

"But!-" I started.

"Bed! You have school tomorrow." He ordered, leaving no room for argument.

Jason snickered at me.

"Shut up! I'm not a little kid Jason!" I shouted, knowing what he was thinking.

"Sure you aren't, kid." He sneered, and ruffled my hair.
I growled and slapped his hand away.

"Shut up Jason!" I shouted one last time, before walking through the clock.

I stormed through the manor, towards my room. "Stupid Jason... Always treating me like a little kid... Like I'm inferior..." I muttered as I slammed my door shut. I face planted my bed, and snuggled into the covers, not even bothering to change out of my green hoodie. I eventually slipped into unconsciousness.

"Leave him alone! He's just spe- He's just... He's... Just a kid... He's just different, okay?"
I'm not...
"Hes just a charity cause!"
I'm not!
"Why would Batman waste his time to save someone like you?"
Because he...
"He's just a circus freak!"
I'm not! I'm...
"He's nothing more then a delinquent. Why else do you think he was sent there?"
I'm not a delinquent! I'm not!
"I bet the orphanages weren't even full! I bet nobody would even accept a freak like him into a orphanage! That's just how much of a freak he really is!"
That's not true! IT'S NOT! I'm... I was...
"Hey... Isn't that Dick Grayson?"
"Yeah... He's that charity cause. The delinquent kid."
"You should stay away from him... He's probably a ticking time bomb."
I'm not...
"Ha! You? Your gonna stop me?! That's hilarious! Your just a kid! You barely even reach my chest!"
So what? I'm still strong... Right?
"Just you Boy Wonder? I must say. I'm completely underwhelmed. Your not even a challenge."
Stop! Don't underestimate me! I'm perfectly whelming!
"You don't even have powers! I can snap you like a twig."
So what? I'm still strong!
"Robin. I want you to stay here. We don't want you to get hurt."
"But Batman!"
"Stay."
"Fine..."
"Its for your own good."
"Bye Kid!"
I'm not a kid... I can protect myself. Robin is strong enough to do that!
"Then why does he keep getting hurt?"
What?
"If you can protect yourself, why do you constantly get hurt?"
Because I... Because it's part of the job!
"Is it? Is it really? To get badly hurt... Every. Single. TIME?"
YES! IT IS! It's...
"A lie... Isn't it Robin?"
Yes... It's a lie. I could never protect what's close to me... I'm not even strong enough to stay awake half the time...
"That's what I thought..."

My body bolted awake, sweat flowing down my face in waves.
Another nightmare... I took a shaky breath and tried to calm myself down. I groaned as a slight headache made its way into my head. I looked over to my clock. I'd have to get up in 6 minutes away, so there was no point in going back to bed. I sighed and dragged myself out of bed, to take a shower.

---*Time Skip!*---

I took my seat at the table, just as Alfred set my breakfast on the table.

"Thanks Al." I said.

"Your most welcome Master Dick."

I stared at the scrambled egg in front of me. I didn't really feel like eating. Just the thought of eating made me feel slightly sick. I pushed the food around with my fork, ignoring Damian's and Jason's argument, and Tim's failing attempt to calm them down.

It's a lie... Isn't it Robin?

Why did I give in? Is that really what I believe? Is it all just a lie?

No!

I shook my head to clear my thoughts. It's not a lie! This is who I am! I am Robin! I am Dick Grayson!

But... Which one am I?

Robin is the smart hacker who fights crime, and all the younger girls wish they could meet him. Robin is Brave and durable and can handle just about anything that's thrown his way!

Just about anything...

Dick Grayson is a star student, The ward of billionaire Bruce Wayne. Dick Grayson, someone who can't protect himself, constantly gets himself kidnapped, constantly being bullied, deceived by lies all his life... A circus freak...

No! I am Robin! Right? I'm Robin... The boy wonder... But I'm also Dick Grayson, a proud acrobat!

That is who I am. Right? A hand on my shoulder suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts, and my head whipped around so fast, I was surprised I didn't get Whiplash.

"You okay?" Bruce asked, worry clear on his face.

"Uh... Yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking." I answered. As if my body was trying to prove my wrong, my sight blurred.

Perfect. Just perfect.

"Are you sure? You look a little pale..."

"I'm fine Bruce." I repeated, my sight growing fuzzy again. He put his hand on my head.

"Maybe you should stay home, you're burning up." He offered.

"I'm fine Bruce." I insisted.

"Hey Dick." Tim called. I turned to face him. "If your not feeling well, you should just tell us. You don't need to hide it." He said.

"I'm fine Tim." I growled.

"Are you sure? You-"

"I'M FINE!" I shouted. I immediately regretted it, but I didn't show it. Now I was light headed. Great. I sighed, and got up.

"Excuse me." I muttered, as I walked away.

---*Time Skip*---
---*Awkwardness Skip*---
---*School Skip*---

I sighed, and put my bag on the floor before falling onto my bed. Ignoring the banging in my head when I did so. I looked up as the blurring ceiling. I should probably get my eyesight checked out. This might be a problem. I dragged myself off my bed and headed towards the Batcave. No one was in. Bruce was at a meeting, Jason was at detention, Tim was with some friends, (I think) and Damian was who knows where, and Alfred left a little while ago to go shopping.

I sat in front of the Batcomputer. Usually I would go to the mountain, but today I just didn't feel like it. I was bored out of my mind. I didn't feel like going to the Mountain, No one was home so I had no one to talk to, nothing ever happens when schools just ended.

Maybe I should just go to sleep. I groaned. Nothing's happening....
I'm bored out of mind...
I slammed my hand into the Batcomputer, deciding to try do something useful. I scrolled through information about all the criminals in Gotham. I knew most of it already.

Something finally caught my eye. The Joker. He's attacked three times this month, stealing powerful solutions and escaping Batman each time. Its been well planned out... But there was something weird about it... Its not Joker's style... Its got a different strategy to it or something. I Just can't place it... Has he formed some sort of alliance with someone or something? And the chemicals he's stolen... What would the joker want with those? There's something about this...

A hand rested on my shoulder, and I was about to punch them in the face but they caught my wrist easily. A sloppy attack, I'll admit. I looked to who caught my wrist.

"Damian! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I live here. Now, what are you doing on the Batcomputer? Why are you researching Joker?" He asked, a frown clear on his face.

"I was bored..." I muttered.

"So why didn't you go to the mountain?"

"Didn't feel like it..." I answer, looking down. Damian sighed, then smiled at me.

"Alright fine. Let's go do something together. That alright?" Damian asks. I immediately perk up.

"Yes!" I cheer. "What are we going to do?"

"You'll have to find out little birdie." He smiles, pushing me towards the clock. I smile, and run to my room to get ready.
