Chapter 52
POV CHANGE
RAY'S POV
Somethings wrong, really, really wrong, and I'm not sure how much time I have left. I've never been this sick before, and it's a lot worse than I thought it would be, it just started out with a headache. What did this guy do to me? I started another coughing fit, and everything was rattling and shaking inside me as more blood poured from my mouth, making me want to gag. I knew Jeremy hated germs, and the fact that he was staying here made everything the smallest bit better. He rubbed my back, and I settled down, out of breath. There's got to be some type of medicine down here. Wait, didn't I bring advil in my pocket when we were hiking?
"Jer, my jean shorts that I wore when I got here are over in the corner. In one of the pockets I had advil, can you go to look for it?" Jeremy smiled at the nickname I used, nodded, and started looking through the pockets. Thankfully, when he walked back over, he had the pills in his hand, and opened the jar, handing one to me.
"Thank you so much, Jer. What would I do without you, you're literally the best." I realized what I'd said and slapped my hand over my mouth, "no homo." I added, Aw, shit, now he's going to think I don't like him that way. His face was bright red, but I blamed it on his normal features, lightning, and embarrassment. How could I not keep my mouth shut?
It'd been about an hour, and the advil was kicking in, I was still coughing up a shit-load of blood though, and we'd have to figure that out. I put an arm around Jeremy, and looked around the room. We'd have to figure out a way out of here, and Christina looked deep in thought, and had that idea face on, maybe she could help. For now, I let Jer closed his eyes, and soon after he was asleep, I was too.
