Charlotte p.o.v

Ezra woke up and after some check ups he was free to go. We were now walking out of the hospital.

"So this is Earth"

"Yeah" I answered "So Ezra where are you come from?"

"Lothal, it's a planet far from here, we can go there when we find a ship"

"A ship?"

"Yes, how else would we go to space?" he asked laughing.

"Ezra, we don't have ships"

"Why not?"

"Well....we don't travel to space, only one or two times in a hundred years"

"So you have never been at space before?"

"No"

"Then if we can't find a ship I will have to communicate with my friends"

"Sure, here!" I said pulling my smartphone out of my pocket and gave it to him. He took it on his hands and looked curiously to it.

"What is that?"

"It's a smartphone"

"What is that phone and how can be smart?"

I laughed and he looked weird at me.

"What's so funny?"

"I can't believe you don't know what smartphone is"

"How does that thing work?"

"Press the bottom over there to open it"

He did "And now what?"

Before I could answer the phone started ringing. Ezra shocked throwed though phone away into a trash can.

"What was that for?"

"I think that the little thing is angry"

I went to pick up my phone but then Bianca and her friends showed up.

"Girls look, the loser is searching the trash can for food"

"Maybe she just search for better clothes" Melanie said and all of them laughed. I looked down.

"Hey, leave her alone!" I heard Ezra saying from behind.

"And who is the handsome boy over there?" Bianca said coming closer to Ezra.

"Let me give an advice honey, don't waste your time with her. Come with us, the important people for a milkshake and leave her here to continue her search on the trash can"

"First if you don't shut up you will end up on the trashcan,
Second why don't forgot the milkshake and buy a better personality and third if you get near her again you will regret it, you and your friends over there"

"Who do you think you are?! You can't talk to my like that!"

"Basically I can and I have every right to do because Charlotte has something you don't. She is beautiful from the outside and the inside. But I can't say the same for you"

She turned around and then glared at me that I was frozen in my place all this time.

"This isn't over" she said and she and her friends left. Ezra came closer to me and helped me to my feet.

"Thank you"

"It was the less I could do, you saved my life" I smile.

"Well I'll probably stay here for long, do you know where can I stay?"

"Actually yes, yes I do. Come on follow me!"

Bethany p.o.v (A/N the evil scientist)

I was looking at the ship that was found in the middle of the forest. My assistant came rushing.

"Ma'am, we have never seen technology like this. From what it seems the pilot crashed here just a few hours ago but there's no one in sight"

"That means that an alien is walking around in this town. I have to find him"

"May I ask Ma'am what are you going to do when you find him"

"My job, I will learn as much as I can for him and his kind and when my study is over I will make sure that he will not cause a problem to the society anymore"

I said as I head back to my car.

Ezra's p.o.v

"His name is Ezra and because the school on his village was destroyed after an earthquake his parents send him here while the new schools is being re-builded. He would go to stay on the hotel but since we have plenty of space here I thought that it would be better to stay here with us because I thought it would be better to stay here with a family instead alone in a hotel. What do you thing?"

Charlotte's mom looked at her and then at me. She smiled.

"It's a wonderful idea. Ezra you can stay here as long as you want. Charlotte, why don't you show him his room?"

"Alright mom"

As we went upstairs I looked at her.

"Your a really good actress"

"Thanks, I guess. So here's your room" she said.

"Alright" I said and looked around for the bottom.

"What are you looking for?"

"The bottom to open the door"

She then shoved the door and it open.

"Oh so the doors here open like that. Alright"

She laugh and went inside with me behind her.

"So this is your bed and a closet and a mirror over there" she said. I sat on the bed, it was so soft and comfortable. More than mine. Then I remembered my bed and my room, my home and my family. They are probably so worried right now and I can't tell them that I'm alright. And also it's my birthday tomorrow and I wanted to celebrate my sweet sixteen with them.

"Are you ok? You seem sad"

"I miss my family"

Charlotte sat on the bed beside me and put her hand on my shoulder.

Kanan's p.o.v

We continue searching on another system with no result. Come on kid, where are you?

"Kanan, it's the fourth system we searched. I hate to say it but we have to stop looking and get back to the bace" Hera said

"I won't leave him"

"I'm sorry to interrupt but what if he's-"

"He's not Sabine!" I said cutting her off.

"Kanan?" Hera said putting a hand on my shoulder. "I know your worried. We all are but we need to get back to the base. In that way we can prepare better and also if we keep going from planet to planet the empire will truck us and we will not be able to find him if we die"

"I know, but I'm sick worried. Tomorrow it's his birthday and I was going to.... " I sighed.

"You were going to do what Kanan?"

"I was going to adopt him" I said.

Hera looked sympathetically to me. Sabin looked out of the window deep in thought, Zeb looked down and mumbled Karabast and even Choper made sad sounds.

I closed my eyes.

"Please, just please, make my Ezra be alright"  I prayed as we jumped in the hyperspace.
