Natsuki's POV

I was nervous about riding in this police car for the first time and just this whole situation I was in. I mean I have to talk in front of a lot of people.

I twiddle my thumbs. Yuri noticed this and grabs my hand. "It's going to be okay, Natsuki." She squeezes my hand.

Then she softly grabs my head and rests it on her shoulder. Warm.

"Yeah kid it's nothing to it really. We're going to go to court for a short time and your going to answer questions, also there's going to be a bail fine." The policeman explains.

"Okay..." I said. Yuri kisses the top of my head and lays her head on my head, while wrapping her arms around me.

Her warmth is going to make me sleep, even though I don't need to.

"You two makes a great couple." The policeman says. Yuri gives him a awkward smile.

"Your going to do fine, I believe in you." She whispers in my ear. "Thanks, Yu." I whisper back. "Mhm." She hums.

"Alright ladies we're here." The policeman parks and so do the other police cars in front of us.

He gets out so he can let us out because the back of the police car doesn't have a door handle.

"Follow me." He tells us.

"Order, Order in the court!" The judge yells.

There were people filling up all of the empty seats and I could see Yuri was one of them in the very front.

I was sitting at a table with a lawyer and...my dad was cuffed at a table next to another lawyer.

"This man right here has been charged for drug use and abusing his daughter right here." The judge says.

"Natsuki Raynor Dayton, will you please come sit up here." He demands. "Yes your honor." I walk up and sit down in the seat next to him, where I'm facing the whole crowd.

"Now is it true that your dad has been abusing you?" My lawyer asks me. I gulp.

"Yes it's true..."

The crowd widens their eyes and a few gasp. "I did no such thing!" My dad says. I roll me eyes at him, I can feel my blood boiling.

"Yes you have and I have proof!" I show the crowd a few bandaged up bruises and scars I gotten from my dad beating me.

They gasp again like the jury does in crappy, dramatic, police movies. "Alright, alright settle down bros and broettes." The judge said.

"How long has he been doing this to you?" My lawyer, Lawyer Johnson asks. "For about 8 years, ever since my mom died." I answer. The crowd awws.

"IT WAS YOUR FAULT SHE DIED!" My dad's lawyer had to hold him back. "Ryuk Dayton, sit yo ass down!" The judge yells.

"I've heard enough of this nonsense, screw letting the jury vote. Ugh I don't get paid enough for this anyway!" The judge facepalms.

He slams his metal mallet on a disc. "Ryuk Rayson Dayton you are now officially guilty, GUITLY I SAY! You have abused your own daughter and I believe you've had been taking drugs, so that's a bail fine of $26,500 at the most and 20 years jail time. Now get out of my sight bro." The judge says in disgust.

"Two police officers walk off with my dad, so he can finally be jailed. "YOU WON'T SEE THE LAST OF ME, YOU WON'T!!" Dad yells for the whole court room to hear.

Thank gosh it's all over now I'm free!

"You did it Natsuki, I'm proud of you." Yuri comes up to me and gives me a big hug. My face starts to heat up because we're in front of a lot of people.

"Yeah, yeah I know. Now let me go." I said in the most childish voice ever. She giggles and then lets me go.

"You two are very cute." The judge tells us. Yuri gives him a awkward smile too.

"Hey Natsuki Dayton and Yuri Parker I have to tell you two a few things myself. The same police officer who drove us here tells us.

"Uh, yes sir." Me and Yu follow him.

"We all think, well I was thinking you should live with somebody because I don't think you need to be by yourself in your house." He says strictly.

"Actually I think you should live with your girlfriend If she's okay with that." He looks over at Yuri.

Yuri wraps her arm around my shoulders. "Of course, I don't see why not." She smiles. I smile too.

But then I get this thought and frown. "Wait, then who's going to take over my house?" I look at Yuri.
