"look at all the children" i chuckled from the tree then frowned "but i can't play" i said sadly "because of 'him'" i sighed as i continued to watch the children on the street.

"jack" a soft voice whispered in my ear "what do you want?" i asked and he chuckled darkly "oh jack you know exactly what i want" he said and a chill ran up my spine as he breathed on my neck

"yes, and then you will give me my freedom" i said and he smirked and yanked on the chain around my neck "of course" he said and let my chain go "i could let you go right now and let you get back to your sadistic life" he said and i went to jump down but he pulled my chain "agh" i grunted and fell onto the branch.

"but that wouldn't be fun" he said disappearing "damn basterd" i said rubbing my neck "I'd kill him if I could" I said leaning against the tree trunk "hey?!" A boy shouted making me growl in annoyance "you, the guy wearing all black with the pointy nose" the boy said and I looked down at him "what?" I asked him and he climbed up the tree and sat beside me

"How can you see me?" I asked and he scratched his head "why wouldn't I?" He asked and I pulled at the chain slightly "the chain makes me invisible to humans" I told him and he shrugged "I eat a lot of carrots" he said and I sighed

"that's just a stupid myth" "then how can i see you?" he asked and i chuckled "since you can see me can i tell you something?" i asked and he moved closer "it's a secret so down tell anyone" i told him and went to grab my knife but the man held my arm "tch, being disobedient jack?" the man said "hmm? the boy seems to notice me" he said as the boy gulped

"heh, why should you care? no one listens to a child, believe me" i said and he took my knife away "yes that may be true but" he said as he let me go and threw the knife infront of the boy making him yelp "he may not be human" he said and i groaned as he pulled on my chain tighter "you know the reason i haven't showed you my face" he chuckled and i growled as i tried to pull away

"it's because i am nothing" he whispered as he dissapeared

"kid" i said and he nodded "don't try and find me" i told him as i disappeared.
