Liane's POV :-

I stepped out of the car and stared at the large house situated outside the city. Thousands of thougths were running in my mind.

I walked with heavy steps . With each step my heart would hurt a little more, my blood would boil a little more. My nerves were no where to calm down. The moment I waited for, since so many years with the fire of revenge in my eyes was now here.

I stood at the back of the house and peeked through the window. His face came infront if my eyes and I fisted the side of my shirt trying hard to control my anger.

You snatched away my parents when I was just a small child who couldn't even care for her own self. I saw them dying. There was not a single reason left for me to be happy. Because of you I became something I never wanted to become. Because of you I suffered. All because of you!

I was about to enter by breaking the window when the sight infront of me made me halt in my tracks.

"Daddy how is this drawing? Look! This is you, this is Mom and this is me" A cute little girl came from nowhere and stopped infront of him. She pointed her delicate finger as she explained her drawing.

"Aww my angel I loved it. This is the best!" He leaned down and pecked her forehead. By looking at them my eyes stung badly as tears traced down my cheeks and dropped on the pavement.

"Lets hang it on the wall!" He took her up in his arms and hung her drawing on the wall.

"Yaaay! I love you Daddy!" She chirped and kissed his cheek.

"I love you more princess!" He smiled and put her down as she ran away.

My hands were shivering and my feet became jelly as If only a minute more of looking at them would take my breath away. I could see my reflection in that girl. I could see my beautiful past in her eyes.

My Lia is an awesome painter! I'm proud of you my love!

"Dad!" A low whisper left my mouth as the pistol fell from my hand. Dad's words came in my mind like the most beautiful wind.

No!! I can't do this. I don't want to be hated just like I hated him. I don't want to snatch away the happiness of the little girl.

"I forgive you Mister Louis! For the sake of your daughter. I don't want another soul to go throught the hell I went through. I hope one day you will stop taking away people's happiness" I yelled so that he could hear and after taking the pistol in my hand I rushed to the car. I turned around and saw him staring at me with wide eyes. He was trying to recognize me but couldn't.

Ignoring everything and leaving the worst memories at my back I sat in the car and ignited the engine as the car moved with full speed. With the dying sun in the sky I promised myself to start the new day in the best possible way.

"I'm moving forward. I'm starting my new life with new hopes, I won't look back now" I said to no one but thinking Mom and Dad must be looking at me from up there.

I threw the pistol in the ocean nearby as I headed towards the Paris Dauphine University.

Haniya's POV:

I woke up as the sun rays from the window fell upon my eyes. I got up and sat straight. After rubbing my eyes I looked at my side and found Selena asleep and just then I realized that I was in my dorms.

Ahh! I am so used to of Shayaan's presence around me.

On the other bed there was Liane who was wide awake as her eyes were glued to the ceiling. She took the best decision and I was extremely happy for her. She decided to take admission next year in the Arts department.

"Morning!" She mouthed with a smile.

"Good morning babe!" I replied smiling back at her.

"Selena wake up girl!" I nudged her trying to wake her up.

"Hmm? Let me sleep!" She made a face and pulled the quilt on her face.

"Don't you want to attend the university?" I kicked her leg as I stood near the bed. She didn't reply and was deep asleep again.

"Such a heavy sleeper!" Liane giggled.

"Look James is here!" I shouted faking excitement and she got up all at once.

"Where?" She looked here and there and as the reality hit her she glared at me.

"I know your weakness!" I winked at her and she shook her head in disbelief.

"Shut up girl! You know I love my sleep!" She whinced and we laughed at her annoyed expressions. I held her hand and dragged her to the bathroom. After pushing her inside I closed the door.

She take hours to get ready! My bestie she is afterall!

I took my cell phone and sat on the bed. As I opened my lock screen Shayaan's smiling face came infront of my eyes and a smile crept onto my lips unknowingly.

I opened my message box to reveal two messages from Shayaan.

Shayaan :- Hey bookworm :( As I woke up I missed you badly. I want you *pouts*. I slept with you on my mind and woke up with you on my mind. I love you baby girl! ♡

Shayaan :- Btw Morning Beautiful ;) here is a morning kiss for you :* not enough? Take some more :* :* :* :* hahaha :D ok I should stop now :p

I laughed as I read the messages and Liane winked at me clearly understanding my state.

You never fail to make me smile the widest!

I checked the time of the messages and It showed 5:30. It was 7:30 by now.

Didn't he wake up too early?

Me :- I love you even more Shayaan! :* I miss you too and kisses accepted :p Didn't you get a little carried away with the kisses? :D see ya at the Uni! :)

Selena came out of the bathroom and started applying her makeup. I also took my clothes and got ready in almost 15 minutes. After collecting my books and bag I along with Liane and Selena headed outside.

Reaching at the university Liane parted her way and headed towards the cafeteria whereas we went inside the class and sat on the empty chairs.

"Haniya! How are you girl?" James gave a cheeky smile and I grinned showing him a thumbs up.

Selena sat with her bae and I sat infront of them waiting for my idiot to arrive. Only 5 minutes were left for the class to begin. I grabbed my cell and walked outside to call Shayaan.

Strange! Shayaan never switch off his phone.

Shaking the thoughts away I went inside and sat on my seat. The class started and it went well. My mind was having scary thoughts making me restless.

"James! Where is Shayaan?" I turned my head in his direction.

"I don't know girl!' He shrugged and I nodded.

"Someone can't spend a second without him?" Selena poked my tummy and I giggled.

Is he in any kind of trouble? No! Why would he switch off his cell phone all of a sudden? Why didn't he come today?

The day ended and I headed towards my room. I sat on the bed and again dialled his number.

"Damn it!" I threw the phone on the bed in frustration.

"Calm down girl. What happened?" Selena placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Selena? Why has he switched off his phone? Where is he?" I said looking at her with worried expressions.

"Babe he will be fine! He must be busy!" She assured and I nodded.

"Take a nap! You will feel better" She suggested and I nodded in response as I laid on my bed. My mind was stuck on him and soon I dozzed off.

I woke up in the evening to find myself alone in the room.

Now where they have disappeared.

I decided to start packing my stuff together. As soon as the university will be over I will go back to Pakistan for one month.

Damn! How badly I miss Mom and Dad.

After packing a little I went downstairs to get dinner from the kitchen.

"Hey Samantha have you seen Selena and the other girl who stay in our room?" I asked Samantha who was also filling her plate with food.

"Hey! They both were with James in the evening" she replied with a smile and I nodded.

I took the boiled rice and roasted chicken in my plate and came back to my room. I glanced at the wall clock which showed 11:25 pm. They were still not here yet but I didn't want to ruin their hangout so I shook the thoughts away. I was in the middle of my eating session when my cell phone started buzzing.

The buzzing of my cell phone got my attention and my face lit up as I saw Shayaan's name on the screen.

"Hello! Shayaan where were you man! Do you have even a slightest bit of idea how worried I was!" I started blabbering.

"Ma'am!" My words got lost in my mouth when I heard someone else's voice from the other side.

"Justin? Why do you have Shayaan's cell phone!" I frowned in confusion. My heart was about to explode any second.

"Sir got in the accident. We were out for grocery shopping at that time. I took him to the hospital and he is currently asleep. We reached home just now. I thought you must be wondering where he is, so I called you" He replied with a sad tone making my eyes watery. It felt as if my heart stopped beating for a while.

"W..what??" I stuttered as a tear rolled down.

"He is burning with fever right now. Can you please come over? He needs you" he took a sigh.

"I'm coming!" I replied and hurriedly placed my cell phone in my pocket and went outside. I took a cab and told the address to the driver.

"Can you please speed up a little?" I asked in my cracking voice and he nodded.

His house was a litte away from the dorms. Every minute passing by was like a whole decade. I couldn't hold back my tears and my heart was restless with pain.

Soon the cab halted outside his apartment. After paying the fair I stepped out. There was pitch darkness. All the lights of his apartment were off and not a single voice was coming from inside. I rushed towards the door and as I held the knob with my shaky hands it turned out to be open.

I pushed the door and it opened with a creak. All the lights turned on suddenly.

"Surprise!" Shayaan, Selena, Lia, James, Justin and OMG Rameen and Salman were also there. They shouted with huge grins plastered on their face as rose petals and glitters fell upon me.

Its 12th of December and I remembered in the morning that tomorrow is my birthday but didn't expect that.

The living room was all decorated with colourfull balloons and party lights and a beautiful cake was placed in the middle on which a candle shaped in 19 was lit.

"Happy Birthday To You! Happy Birthday To You! Happy Birthday Dear Bookworm! Happy Birthday To You!" Shayaan came closer singing the happy birthday song and placed a small silver tiara on my head. I wrapped my arms around his waist so tightly that he stumbled backwards.

"What kind of a sick joke was that? I almost died Shayaan! I hate you!" I punched his chest as my eyes shed tears of happiness.

"But I love my princess!" He pulled back and kissed my forehead infront of everyone and I just melted under his touch.

"I love you too Shayaan!" I blushed as everyone "awwwed" at our cute moment.

"Ehem! Continue your romance session later bro! Lets cut the cake!" Salman smirked at Shayaan.

"Ok!" Shayaan scratched the back of his neck nervously as he led me to the table.

I cut the cake and took the piece in my hand as I extended it towards Shayaan. He took a bite and his lips touched my fingers unknowingly, sending electic shock down my spine. He then winked at me making my heart do a back flip.

Goshh! This guy is too much.

I fed everyone and hugged James, Selena and Liane as they showered me with gifts.

"Happy birthday Ma'am!" Justin extended a small red box towards me. Opening it I found a beautiful ring inside.

"I can't afford very expensive gifts!" He smiled looking down at his hands.

"Its beautiful! I loved it Justin. Thank You!" I side hugged him.

"Haniya! You are such a hider!" Rameen glared at me as I walked towards her.

"Sowwy!" I pouted as I hugged her tightly.

"Happy birthday my little one! Always stay happy" She handed me a huge gift box and I mouthed a "thank you!"

"By the way I knew that someday you both will end up here! I saw that coming so I'm not shocked at all. I salute you girl for handling my crazy brother!" Salman laughed and Shayaan let out an annoying huff of breath.

"I'm awesome and I know that!" I flipped my hair showing attitude and everyone laughed.

After half hour of chatting and dancing everyone left. Rameen and Salman also went in the guest room leaving me and Shayaan alone and it felt as if it was all planned so that we can spend some time together.

"So? Did you like it?" Shayaan asked as he held both of my hands in his.

"Loved it!" I smiled looking in his hazel eyes. I felt as if I was drowning in them.

"Its not over yet babe!" Shayaan winked.

We came out of the living room and laid on the soft grass with a centimeter distance between us as we gazed at the stars which were glowing in the dark sky. The moon was shining dimly giving the night a beautiful touch. As It was December so the weather was cold but his body heat was giving me a peaceful feeling even though he was not even touching me.

"You make me feel like a princess. I have no words to tell you how blessed I'm feeling right now" I said still looking at the stars. He turned towards my side and rested his head on his hand as he placed his elbow on the grass. Cold wind swooshed past me making me shiver.

"Because you are my one and only! I can do anything for you Haniya! This is the least I could have done for you! New morning is full of exciting stuff! Wait for it. I just hope that you will like it!" He replied with his eyes showing sincerity and love. His words were like music to my ears.

"I will love it because you planned it Shayaan!" I whispered leaning closer and kissed his cheek. He pulled me closer by snaking his hand on my waist. My heart started thumping in my chest as he squeezed me in his embrace. I felt tingling feelings everywhere his body touched.

We pulled back and he got up sitting straight. I also followed his gesture. He then pulled out a box from his pocket.

As he opened it I stared at the beautiful and elegent pendent which was shining in the moon light. It had a silver chain and in the middle there was a heart on which diamonds were tucked perfectly. Inside the heart were two letters "SH".

"OMG Shayaan this is perfect!" I mouthed as a tear of happiness rolled down my eye which he wiped away with his thumb.

"I know! But not more than you!" He smiled and took the pendent in his hands. He brushed my hair on one side and tied the pendent around my neck. His fingers made contact with my skin making my heart beat faster.

"A beautiful gift for my beautiful lady!" He whispered in my ear and I smiled.

He then kissed my neck making me shudder under his touch. I looked at him in shock and he winked.

"His eyes shifted towards my lips as he bit his lower lip.

Before I could move he leaned closer and placed my one hand on my lips and placed his own hand on my cheek. He kissed on my hand just where my lips were beneath. I shut my eyes sinking in the feeling. My heart went berserk as he pulled back.

"Girl you are driving me crazy. I will make you mine. I will make myself a successful person so that I can give you world's most precious happiness. I will then talk to your parents and then you will be mine forever!" He assured me looking deep in my eyes as he placed my one hand on his chest. His heart was hammering in his ribcage, beneath my hand, giving me the proof of his words which he just uttered.

We laid down on the grass again facing eachother.

"I love you Shayaan!" I smiled at him.

"I love you more!" He replied as he intertwined our fingers.

"I love you even more!" I grinned.

"I love you to the square of infinity and beyond!" He grinned back and we both laughed.

This is all I can ever ask for. His love is so pure and strong that It filled all the emptiness which ever existed in my life!
