A/N: The picture is the Portal Ring! I actually own this ring so that's why I chose the portal to be in a ring! Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

Ellie's POV:
Today is Saturday on a Summer morning (A/N: Yeah, I sorta forgot to mention it's Summer in this story, so yeah. Now you know). I got up out of bed quietly and tiredly. I hate sleeping so I don't think I get enough sleep. But whatever. I immediately put on my II charm bracelet (which I had placed all the charms on) and walked downstairs. Nobody but my seven year old sister was awake and she was watching TV (A/N: Did I also forget to mention that I'm 17 in this story?). I got some cereal out of the pantry and got a bowl. I poured some of the cereal in and poured in some milk. I'm not a fan of milk, but when it comes to cereal, I need it. It's weird... Anyway, I put the box of cereal and the milk away and sat down. I ate my cereal quietly. Once I was done, I went back upstairs to my room. I changed into a pair of jean shorts and a t-shirt. I then told my parents I would be outside, going to the antique shop. I went outside and walked downtown. It wasn't too far from my house. I finally reached the antique shop. It wasn't open yet. I stood nearby and waited. About five minutes later, Adam and an older man, who I'm guessing was his father, walked towards the shop. "Oh, you're here already?" Adam asked me. I nodded. He smiled and unlocked the door. We all walked inside the shop. I walked around, looking at the stuff I didn't look at yesterday. There were some paintings, artifacts, and other stuff. But what really interested me was this silver band ring with lines carved into it. It wasn't fancy, but it attracted me for some odd reason. It was all the way in the back, so no one could see me. I really liked it. I removed the ring from the shelf and held it in my hand. I slowly placed the ring on my left middle finger (A/N: AKA, where I wear the actual ring). It was a perfect fit. I took the ring off walked up to Adam. "You want to buy this?" he asked me. "Yep!" I said. "Good choice," he said as he scanned it. "That'll be $15.99," he told me. I handed him $16. He gave me the extra penny but I just put it in the tip jar. "Thanks for stopping by!" he said as I left. "Bye Adam!" I said. He waved and I walked out of the shop. I was now bored so I walked to an alley. Yeah, not a good idea, I know. But it's a safe one. I've been down here many times and no one is ever here. I put the ring back on and looked at it. I suddenly started to feel dizzy. Then, I blacked out.

Earlier...

Paper's POV:
I woke up early this morning, ate breakfast, did the usual stuff. I sat down in the living room. Pickle was there, playing video games on our GameCube (A/N: Don't kill me people... It's what they have on the actual show...). "Hey Pickle," I said. "Oh, hi Paper," he said when he looked up from the screen. "Could I join?" I asked. He nodded and handed me a game controller. We're pretty evenly matched and always end up in a tie. After about 20 minutes, I decided to go back to that lake OJ and I went to yesterday. "I'm gonna go for a walk,"
I said. "Okay," he said as I handed him the controller. I walked outside and headed down the driveway. I walked past some trees and stopped under one. I checked my MePhone and saw that someone had texted me. "Hey, where are you?" the text said. It was from OJ. "I'm outside going for a walk," I texted back. "Oh, okay. You weren't in the hotel so I got worried for a second," was his reply. "LOL," I sent with a laughter emoji. "See you when you get back," he replied. "Okay, see ya," I sent and put my phone away. I sat down under that same tree and looked at the clouds. I tried to figure out what they looked like. One of them looked like a heart. Another looked like a chocolate chip. Hey, one of them looks like me! (A/N: Any of you get it? 😂). I looked at a few more clouds. Then, I suddenly heard a splash nearby, followed by a female scream. Sounded like it came from the lake! I quickly got up and ran towards the lake. I saw a figure right in the middle of the lake! I was alarmed. She looked like she needed help! I put on the waterproof bag I had with me (I don't know why I had it with me). I then jumped right into the lake. There was so much water splashing around, I still couldn't tell what object she was. "Whoa, whoa, calm down!" I said to the screaming object. I grabbed the object's hand and led her out of the lake. Now I could tell what she was. She was a striped chocolate chip, the stripes being white, milk, and dark chocolate. She started coughing, gasping for air as well. I knelt down beside her and looked at her in concern. "Are you okay?" I asked her.

Ellie's POV:
Oh my gosh, what just happened... I looked around at my surroundings and the scenery was completely different. Like, the scenery of the object world... Wait... WAS I IN THE OBJECT WORLD?! That ring... IT WAS A PORTAL!!! Oh my gosh, is this seriously happening? Am I dreaming?! It has to be a dream! But, why would I be wet? Stupid portal... It decided to open right above a lake... Now I'm wet... I then heard a voice say, "Are you okay?" That voice... It was so familiar... No... It couldn't be... I looked up and saw none other than Paper from Inanimate Insanity! My eyes widened. Now I know I'm dreaming. "Are you okay?" he asked again and touched my arm. Okay, now I know I'm not dreaming. This is really happening! I looked at my arm he had touched and realized my arm was no longer a human arm. It was an object arm. Does that mean... I'm an object now? I sat up and looked at my reflection in the pond. I was a striped chocolate chip... BEST DAY EVER!!! "Um..." I heard Paper say. Oh, right. I still haven't answered him. I looked at him again. He looked even more worried. "Oh, um, sorry. I'm okay," I told him. His worried look immediately changed to a relieved look. "Thank goodness you're okay!" he exclaimed. I smiled. "D-did you save me?" I asked. He nodded. "Wow, y-you didn't have to," I said. "You needed help! I couldn't just leave you there!" he said. "Th-thanks," I said. Oh great, now I'm stuttering! What's happening to me?! "You're welcome!" Paper said as he stood up. He held out a hand and offered to help me up. I grabbed his hand and stood up as well. "So, how did you fall in there?" he asked me. Oh no, I couldn't tell him a portal opened up over it! Or, could I? I then remembered that the eliminated contestants went through a portal. So I could tell him a portal opened up here! I just couldn't tell him that I wasn't from the object world... Yet... "I went through a portal and it opened up above this lake," I told him. "Ah, I see. Those portals can be really weird," he said. I laughed. "Definitely," I replied. That made him laugh. "So, my name i-" he started to say. "Paper," I interrupted. His eyes widened a bit. "You know who I am?" he asked. I nodded. "You're one of my favorite Inanimate Insanity characters!" I said. "Oh? Thanks!" he said. If I'm not mistaken, I think his face reddened a bit. Makes sense. I would be embarrassed too. "So, what's your name?" Paper asked. Oh, what was I gonna tell him?! I couldn't say my name was Ellie! That would just be weird... "I'm El- I mean, I'm Chocolate Chip! Or CC for short," I said. "Cool! Nice to meet you!" he replied. "Nice to meet you too!" I responded. "So, where're you from?" he asked me. "Oh, I'm not really from around here," I said. "I'm actually lost. A portal brought me here and I don't know how to get back," I added. "I suppose I could help you!" Paper said. "Really?" I asked. He nodded. A huge smile went on my face. I then thought of my new "oh my gosh". "Oh my chocolate sauce, thanks you so much!" I exclaimed. I then hugged him without even thinking.

Paper's POV:
As Chocolate Chip hugged me, I could feel my face heat up. Was I, blushing? I think I was. I was still wearing the waterproof bag, so I didn't get soggy. After a few seconds, CC let go of me. She looked at me and then her face reddened a bit. "I'm s-sorry, I just got a bit excited there, and I couldn't help myself. Sorry!" she quickly said. I laughed and said, "It's okay!" Her face went back to normal and she smiled. Then she frowned. "I'm still soaking wet, aren't I?" she asked. "Yep," I said. "Well, good thing you were still wearing the bag when I hugged you!" she said, laughing. I smiled. "How about I bring you to Hotel OJ? You could stay there for a while until we find your way home!" I suggested. "Really? That would be awesome! Thank you!" she replied cheerfully. I walked back to the hotel with her. "Wait here," I told her once I got to the door. She nodded and I walked inside. I quickly found a towel and came back outside. "Here you go!" I said as I handed her the towel. She thanked me and dried herself off. I moved out of the way and let her walk in. "I've always wanted to go into Hotel OJ," she said. "It's a cool place, isn't it?" I asked. "Oh, definitely!" she replied as she looked around. OJ then came around the comer. "Oh, hey Paper! You're ba- Hey, who's this?" OJ asked, pointing at CC. "That's Chocolate Chip! I met her at the lake!" I replied. "Hi OJ!" she said. "Hello!" OJ responded. "Welcome to Hotel OJ! Care for a room?" he asked CC. "Yes please!" CC responded. "Alright, right this way!" he said as we walked to the elevator. Once we got to the fifth floor, we got out. "Here's your room! It's right across from Paper's!" he said. "Cool, thanks!" CC replied. She opened the door and walked inside. "Nice room," she said. "Only the best for our guests!" OJ said. We all laughed. OJ got back on the elevator to go back downstairs. "Once you're settled in, why don't you come back down? You can meet everyone here!" OJ suggested. "That would be great!" she replied. "Okay, see you in a few minutes," he said as the elevator closed. I stayed upstairs with CC. A minute later, CC walked out of her room. I walked into the elevator with her. We went back to the first floor. When we got out of the elevator, everyone at the hotel was in the living room waiting for us.

Ellie's POV:
I LOVE HOTEL OJ!!! It's so amazing, I can't believe I get to stay here! I then saw the others characters currently at Hotel OJ. I mentally fangirled. Believe me, it's hard to get me to fangirl... A familiar, circular, black and white character walked up to me. "Hi Yin-Yang!" I said excitedly. "Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you!" said Yin. "She's probably a loser. Like you Yin!" Yang said. "That's not nice Yang!" Yin said. "SHUT UP!" Yang yelled as they started punching each other. I stared for a few seconds and then started to laugh. They immediately stopped and looked at me. "Wha... Why is she laughing?" Yang asked. That made me laugh even harder. "It's just funny the way you two argue!" I exclaimed as I continued to laugh. "Whatever..." Yang said. "Yang! Couldn't you try to be nicer to her?" Yin asked. They walked off and other familiar characters walked up to me, greeting me. After most of the others said hi to me, Tissues walked up to me. "Hi Tissues!" I said. "Hi ther- AH-CHOO!" Tissues replied, sneezing. I jumped back, startled, and the snot missed me by a few inches. "Sorry, it's my condi-SHAWN," he said. "It's okay Tissues!" I replied. The only two who didn't come up to me were Trophy and Salt. Oh well, guess I'll talk to them later. Paper and OJ led me to the dining room, since they were about to have lunch. Someone (I don't know who) made some pasta. As we ate, I could've sworn that Salt kept looking at me oddly. I ignored it and finished my pasta. Quite slowly actually. I'm a slow eater. The others started to leave to go do other stuff. Paper and OJ waited for me though. Once I (finally) finished, I stood up and picked up my plate to put in the sink. "I'll take that," OJ said as he took the plate from me and then went to the kitchen. "O-okay...?" I said slowly. Paper laughed a little bit. "He can be like that sometimes," Paper explained to me. "Ah," I replied. OJ then came back in the room. "Wanna go outside?" Paper asked me. I nodded. The three of us went outside, OJ holding a rubber ball. I saw the ball and absentmindedly started to hum "It's a Ball". "You remembered the song?" Paper asked. I stopped humming. "Oh, yeah. I did," I said, blushing a bit. I didn't even realize I was humming in the first place. He smiled. "Your humming sound nice," he added. "Thanks," I said, my face heating up a bit more. "Here, catch," OJ said as he bounced the ball to me. I quickly caught it and bounced it to Paper. We kept bouncing the ball around in a circle, chatting at the same time. After a few hours, we went back to the hotel. We all ate dinner (Chinese food) and I was really tired. I took the elevator with Paper to the fifth floor once I was done. Once I brushed my teeth, I walked to my room. Paper walked to his room, right across from mine. But before he closed the door, he said, "If you need anything, just call," with a smile. I nodded and then closed the door. I took out my phone (it came with me somehow) and turned on some music. I put my earbuds in and laid down on my bed. I fell asleep within a few minutes. But before I did, I thought to myself, Best day ever...
