Taeyong's pov
Once I calmed down, I stayed curled in a ball. I slowly uncurled myself and just laid flat on my back on the comfortable bed.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you I'm just scared and- and heartbroken. I'm sorry." I mumbled calmly. I covered my body with his blanket and closed my eyes, falling deep asleep. I felt Jaehyun cuddle into me.
"So we really are cursed?" I asked when we both were fully awake. Jaehyun nodded his head.
"We have been for three hundred years. If you know any witches, maybe we could break this curse sooner than we think." Jaehyun commented. I lit up remembering Yuna.
"I have a friend, her name is Yuna. Well, we aren't really too close of friends because she doesn't want anything to do with the supernatural, but maybe she'll help us. I think she said she was from two of the most powerful bloodline of witches. The Nakamoto's and McReynolds'?" I mumbled and shrugged.
"Taeyong, the McReynolds' are the ones who cursed us! If Yuna is from both the Nakamoto's and McReynolds' this means we have the power to break the curse!" Jaehyun exclaimed. I grinned and grabbed my phone again.
Me
Hey, Yuna. I know we haven't talked in a while, but I need your help. Please text me back soon.
I locked my phone and sat it beside me. I got a crazy idea as I looked at Jaehyun.
"Jaehyun, turn me into a vampire." I demanded. Jaehyun looked at me shocked.
"What— Taeyong, no." Jaehyun exclaimed. I stood on my knees in front of Jaehyun. I held onto his shoulders to stabilize myself.
"If I'm a vampire, imagine how much harder it is to kill me!" I exclaimed. Jaehyun looked up at me confused.
"You would really want to be damned like me?" Jaehyun asked. I nodded.
"Anything to keep me from dying at twenty. Please, please, please!" I begged the vampire. He gave it thought before looking at me shocked.
"Taeyong, show me your neck." Jaehyun demanded more than asked. I furrowed my eyebrows then showed him the back of my neck. He sighed in relief.
"What?" I asked.
"I thought I had marked you last night. If I marked you, the transformation wouldn't work." Jaehyun mumbled.
"Jaehyun, please. I don't want to die!" My eyes welled with tears again. Jaehyun quickly pecked my lips to distract me.
"Taeyong, you would really want to be a vampire? I've killed more people than I can count. I've drank from double that. I've scarred triple. I'm- I'm a monster, Taeyong." Jaehyun replied. I shut him up this time with a kiss.
"A monster wouldn't be able to tell right from wrong. Please don't call yourself a monster, Jae." I spoke gently and cupped his cheeks. He nodded and leaned into my touch.
"You called me Jae!" Jaehyun smiled. I kissed his forehead and smiled widely. His smile was contagious.
"Jae, please. I've thought this through over the past few minutes. I don't want to die; I would much rather be a "monster" as you call it than dead before I can even live. Please, just turn me." I begged Jaehyun. He sighed and nodded, then gave me a pointed look.
"I'll only turn you after you turn eighteen. If you can wait—"
"I already am eighteen!" I exclaimed happily. Jaehyun gasped and looked at the date. It was July first. Jaehyun groaned.
"Taeyong, I don't want to turn you into a vampire! It hurts like hell and isn't fun! It's scary having hunters on your back constantly. There are hunters among your friends, Taeyong." Jaehyun exclaimed. I froze.
"Which friends are hunters?" I asked timidly. I couldn't believe some of my friends, whom I believed were all pure sweethearts, could be hunters.
"Jisung and Chenle for starters. Just last night they took out a werewolf: Jungwoo. His mate Lucas isn't going to be too happy, so don't be shocked if something—" I got a phone call. I was shaking as I answered the phone.
"Hello?" I asked.
'Is this Lee Taeyong? Park Jisung's emergency contact?' The hospital questioned.
"Yes! Is something the matter? What happened to my little brother?"
'He was attacked by an animal. He's in critical condition, and we need your signatures for any procedures to take place.'
"I'll be there as soon as possible!" I exclaimed then they hung up. I stood up quickly and threw on my suit. Jaehyun got dressed confusedly as I scampered around the room and sprayed his cologne on myself. I spritzed it on him too so we didn't smell like sex as much.
"We need to get to the hospital, now." I state and called Doyoung. Jaehyun held my hand and teleports us to the hospital parking lot.
"Doyoung, Jisung's been attacked. Get to the hospital, now. He needs us, regardless of our problems, be here for Jisungie." I stated coldly and hung up before Doyoung could reply. I ran through the double doors, Jaehyun hot on my trail.
"Park Jisung!" I exclaimed to the nurse receptionist. He handed me a thick stack of paperwork and a pen.
"Please sign all of these so we may begin treatment." He asked.
"Begin immediately, I agree to all of it. Do what you need to do to fix my little brother." I claimed as I filled out the work. The male nurse nodded his head and ran to tell Jisung's doctor. Jaehyun looked at me confused.
"Taeyong, how is he—"
"He's not my brother by any actual means. I've known him since he was born; I was two. I've sort of helped raise him and Chenle, so I claim them as brothers." I spoke absentmindedly as I signed my name to a paper.
"Please be okay, Ji." I whispered and finished the work. I handed it to the nurse and sat back down beside Jaehyun. I leaned into his side and sighed as tears rolled down my cheeks once more today.
