Taeyong's pov
"Do you wish to return to him, my child?" A male dressed in all white asked. I smiled down as I saw Jaehyun, slowly recovering from his loss of me once more. Maybe even forever he would be healed. Maybe they're better off without me?
"May I see what their life will be like without me before I decide?" I asked him. He nodded softly and allowed me to look down upon Earth to see Chenle, Jisung, and Jaehyun.
Jaehyun's pov
"Come on, boys, it's time for school! Get up!" I yelled and smacked two pans together. The pair groaned and laughed at me.
"Why can't we just-" I dropped both pans quickly, cutting off the younger teen.
"Jisung, you know Taeyong wanted you both to get good grades and stay in school. I'm taking care of you both because you're so important to him. Please, just go to school." I begged. They both nodded and left to shower. I sighed and left their bedroom to begin cooking breakfast.
Since Taeyong's death, both teens have moved in with me. I accepted them with open arms and a loving heart.
"Chenle, stop!" Jisung squealed and ran behind me. I turned around and waved my wooden spoon in the air.
"What's happening, you two?" I asked. Or as loving as I can be to two teen hunters. They both looked at me and talked at once.
"He took my phone!"
"No, I didn't!"
"Okay, where's the phone? Hand them both over." I demanded and checked them both then handed them to the rightful owners. They smiled and ran off to the table.
"Here, eat up. You have twenty minutes before I have to drive you to school." I stated as we ate. They nodded and ate quickly.
"Okay, are you ready?" I asked as I checked over them to make sure they had everything they needed for school. They nodded their heads and bolted out of the door.
They each hopped into the backseats of my car happily. I smiled at the pair through the rearview mirror and laughed lightly.
"If I find out either of you skip for anything other than life or death situations, I'll ground you both." I playfully glared at the two human teenagers. They sighed and nodded their heads.
"Fine, Jaehyun, we won't skip class unless it's life or death," Chenle groaned. I smiled and thanked them.
Soon, I pulled into the parking lot of their high school, sighing as I remembered Taeyong went here.
"Please, stay out of trouble boys," I begged. They both nodded and jumped out of my car, their backpacks in tow.
This book will follow Chenle and Jisung as hunters led by Jaehyun, their vampire protector. There may be a book four also! I have no idea yet!
