"Happy birthday to youuuu!" Mabel's parents sang.

They watched her eagerly, waiting for her to blow her sixteen candles.

Mabel rolled her eyes and blew them with no effort.

"Yay!" her mom cheered.

"Mom, I'm sixteen now." Mabel said, annoyed, "You don't need to act like I'm a little kid anymore."

"Oh, I know, but you'll always be my baby!" she cooed.

"So what did you wish for sweetie?" her dad asked.

Mabel took in a deep breath, "I wished to see Dipper again."

Her parent's faces immediately changed from sweet to sour.

"Sweetie, we talked about this..." her dad said.

"Mabel I told you not to mention that name anymore." Her mom interrupted.

"I DON'T CARE!" Mabel shouted, "I should be with him right now, celebrating our birthday TOGETHER!"

"But you have US! YOU'RE the one who didn't want to have a sweet sixteen!" her mom argued.

"What would be the point if he's not here!" She shot back.

Her parents were dead silent.

Mabel calmed herself and sat down, "I'll find a way to see Dipper again soon, and you can't stop me."
