AN: New story. Rachel Berry And Thad Harwood. Stay tuned for Thadchel.

I got inspiration while watching Eddy Martin on YouTube and have always loved Thad. So I'll be working on a Thadchel story while I update Unbreakable. I appreciate all of my followers who have been reading my stories.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but this storyline.

Rachel Berry, 22 years old, Broadway star, living in her dream city... New York City, New York. Star of Funny Girl. You would think "Sure she's got everything." But, honestly, something was missing. Or Someone.

It all started five years ago....

[Flashback]

Rachel was sitting in a booth at Breadstix with her fiance, Finn Hudson, having dinner with Kurt and Blaine aka Klaine.

Finn was confused about his future after high school and failing to even acknowledge that Rachel was and has been by his side. She could feel him pulling away from her. Or she was realizing that maybe her dream of going to New York was being questioned because she was unsure where they stood.

Rachel knew Finn loved her, but always felt that she would always be second best to HER. That she would never be able to compete with his Golden girl, Quinn Fabray. It has ALWAYS been Quinn. After all, he forgave Quinn for cheating and lying about Beth's paternity. Yet, he couldn't forgive her simple kiss with Puck.

Rachel was lost in her own thoughts when she suddenly heard music in the background. She looked up and saw that the Warblers were at the microphone. She recognized Trent, David, Nick, Jeff, Jon, and yes Sebastian. And another good looking Latino male, she thinks his name is Thad? She knew they were good friends of Blaine And Kurt.

They were all very good looking. I mean, hello....
Who could resist good looking guys in tight pants and blazers. Rachel could even picture herself on a dorm bed wearing nothing but a crisp white shirt And blazer.

'Good gosh, stop it Rachel Berry, you've been around Sebastian Smythe too long' she scolded herself. Her cheeks were burning.

Anyways, The Warblers were taking the stage. Impromptu song. Despite them being competition, Rachel had to admit, they were very talented. Many of their voices were not utilized enough.

Sebastian stepped to the microphone. "Good evening, we are the Dalton Academy Warblers. We wanted to wish you a good evening, plus provide some music for your enjoyment." he said.

Blaine smiled when he saw his friends. A lot has gone down between them since the nearly blinding Blaine incident. After Dave Karofsky's incident, the relationship between the New Directions and Warblers, have been tolerable. Sebastian has apologized and he wasn't so bad. Rachel has spent time with him. Sebastian has become a great friend to Rachel. Kurt still wasn't convinced. But, what else is new.

Rachel was expecting Sebastian to start, but was surprised to see Thad Harwood in the front. She knew he had once been one of the three Head Council for the Warblers. His famous "You mock us Sir" made her giggle.

As Thad began the song, Rachel glanced at his features. He was good looking with his dark hair, beautiful hazel eyes, and the sweetest smile. She felt a bit guilty for staring longer than she should.  She had Finn, and yet, she couldn't look away.

Thad, meanwhile, looked around the restaurant until his eyes met hers. Rachel Berry. WOW she is beautiful, he thought. He had always thought so. He had a huge crush on her ever since his sophomore year. He remembered seeing her many times at Dalton when she would visit Blaine And Kurt. But, fell head over heels when she performed at Regionals with her original "Get it Right." Finn didn't deserve any song. Guy was a moron for not appreciating the Beauty in front of him. How many times Thad had wished he could be the one , the Right One. The only one who really knew how he felt was Sebastian.

Thad took a deep breath. "This is for someone special. She knows who she is. Hope she will see the Obvious in front of her..." He quickly locked eyes with Rachel. Finn furrowed his brows in confusion. Blaine and Kurt smiled.

Thad: We started as friends
But something happened inside me

Thad:

Thad:

I more then adore you but since you never seem to see

Sebastian:

Thad:

As Thad sang the last verse, he once again locked eyes with Rachel. Rachel gave him a smile. Even though it was a tiny smile, he had never seen anything more beautiful.

The restaurant broke out in applause. The Warblers smiled and sung a few more songs before calling it a night.

Thad and the guys walked by Rachel's table. Saying hello as they passed. Thad locked eyes with Rachel.

"Hello Rachel. I'm..." he started.

Before he could finish, Finn slammed his hand down onto the table, glaring back and forth between Rachel and Thad, and yelled "What the Hell!?! Rachel are you screwing around with another preppy?! Wasn't Sebtard bad enough?! I'm telling the Glee club!"  (AN: Just to clarify, Sebastian and Rachel became friends only. Sebastian may have had a crush. But it's only been friendship.)

Thad was shocked. Firstly, who was this douche screaming at?! You never speak to a woman like that. Especially Rachel, his Rachel. Secondly, he really did look like a zombie that is constipated.

Sebastian stepped in front of Finn, but Thad pushed him away.
"I got this Sebastian."

Thad got in front of Finn, who was slightly taller, but Thad was an expert fighter. *Cough* Fight Club. Anyways, Thad stood in front of the Wimpy Giant.

"Listen, FinnDouche, you do NOT, I mean you DO NOT EVER raise your voice to a woman. And Rachel the Goddess Berry of all women? You must be something stupid."

Thad could hear Sebastian and the other Warblers laughing. And Sebastian saying "Timber...." He could see a tiny smile emerging on Rachel's face.

Finn was turning red. Seriously this douche needs Anger Management. Thad wasn't scared of him.

"Who the hell are you to tell me how to talk to my girlfriend?" Finn said.

"Did I stutter? You seriously need therapy. Rachel could do better. Rachel, here is my number. Call me anytime, beautiful." Thad wrote on a napkin. Handing it to her, while kissing her hand. Wow, her skin is soft. Thad could smell Coconut from her hair. Wow, adjustment below needed.

Thad walked away with the Warblers, glancing back at Rachel with a smile And a wink.

Little did Rachel know that soon after she would be breaking up with Finn, and became close to a particular Latin Warbler...

[Flashback ends]

Rachel soon came back to reality. Thinking of how close she and Thad became. What started as friends, whirlwind romance, then faded after graduation. Five years later, here she is looking out at the New York skyline from this rooftop bar, and thinking of her past.

As Rachel stepped back, she hadn't paid attention where she was going, and collided with a thick wall. Or so she thought.

"Oh my Gosh, I am so sorry... are you okay?" The voice said.

Rachel froze. She recognized that voice. No it couldn't be...

Rachel turned and was in shock. How? When? Why now?

"Wow, Rachel, if I knew it was this easy to get you to fall for me, I would've done it years ago. "

"THAD...." Rachel began, tears forming.

He smiled. "Hello Rachel. Funny how your past appears out of nowhere huh?" Thad said.

Thad Harwood was here in New York five years later..... This could be good or bad. Either way, her past has come back.....

"Hello Thad..." Rachel said.

The pair just stood and stared for what seems like an eternity.

Rachel Berry knew this night wouldn't be the same again....

AN: Well this is my pilot chapter for my new story I will be working on. Yes Sebastian will be In this story. Thad is the love interest in this story, just to clarify.
