"If you're the sky, then I'm lighting, right?" Looking at the ocean, Killua thought of something that immediately brightened up his mood. "I guess if hypothetically we were to be put together, we'd be something like. . . a storm." Wendy tilted her head to his side. "We'd be a pretty troublesome one."
~
"A storm, huh? I guess we are one then, Killua-kun." Wendy got up. "Yosh! Let's get going, we need to find the others so we can go back!" They walked further into the island, which was a rainforest.
Killua had an idea. "I'll climb up these trees and look for the plane, you can stay here and have my back, got it?" He immediately jumped to the nearest tree, landing on the top.
"Got it," said Wendy, sighing heavily. "Guess I'm gonna keep on guard then." She said 'keep on guard' but the only thing she was doing was kicking branches while whistling a song, glancing at the lightning ninja. She then looked at the front, but it was too late. She crashed against a wall, making a weird sound.
Killua heard her faint scream and jumped off the tree, finding a dead-looking blue eye that lay on the floor, her big eyes even bigger, and her mouth opened, she lay in an awkward position, without moving. "You look like an opossumplaying dead." (multimedia)
He walked over the branchless forest floor on to the girl. "What even happened to you? Weren't you kicking all those branches? What made you trip?" He crossed his arms and sighed, while walking in the direction where Wendy had crashed against the wall. "Did you trip over yourse-" And he hit the wall too.
It was a transparent concrete wall, probably the work of magic. Killua wasn't hit that hard. He extended his hands to touch the invisible wall, and when he touched it, he noticed black magic waves forming around the parts were his hands were. "We gotta get out of here."
He grabbed the human opossum and carried her on his back, running as fast as he could. He didn't know, meters away, awaited another transparent wall. "Usakenda! Let's climb the trees." He jumped up, but a roof was there already. It was as if they were enclosed in a room without doors. "I'll dig us an exit then. Just you wait you wizard, or whatever, who is trying to do trap us, you piece of sh-" Sure enough, the ground was covered in a transparent and invisible floor.
He lay Wendy on the ground, she was finally starting to react again. "Killua-kun," she took a deep breath. "We're trapped here aren't we?" Wendy thought of screaming for help, but the wall had hit her too hard, she couldn't even speak. She didn't remember being that weak, though.
"That's right." Killua got up from the floor. "Trapped!" He kicked a branch Wendy hadn't kicked yet. "That's what we are! From the restaurant, to the airplane, to the island, to this transparent thing. We are trapped." He was losing his patience, not that he had much to begin with.
Wendy noticed his hair get spikier, and he glowed too. He was lightning up. "I'm going to break this wall. Stay still, Wendy." he said, and proceeded to use his powers to try and break the wall. It was no use, the only thing that happened was that the same black magic waves from before appeared again on the wall.
There was no sound. Wendy gathered up her energy to say; "Killua-kun, scream for help. They might hear us."
Killua was perspiring heavily, but Wendy looked even worse. It was as if her energy was being drained from her. He screamed. "YOU KNOW WHAT? I THINK THIS WALLS ARE DRAINING UP OUR ENERGY. AND SINCE YOU'RE LAYING ON THE FLOOR, IT MUST BE DRAINING YOURS EVEN FASTER. WONDER IF SOMEONE IS COMING TO HELP US?" There was no echo. "SOMEONE LIKE GON, ALLUKA, BLUE MERMAID, BLONDE, OR SALMON DUDE." He waited for a while, then looked down. "They can't hear us, can't they?"
Wendy sat up. "It doesn't matter. They'll come and save us anyway." She slowly stood up. "They always do."
Killua's hair got spiky again. This time, he was angry. "ARE YOU THAT DEPENDENT OF A KID?" He scratched his head and calmed down. "Everyone comes saving you! Literally everyone is in your side! 'They always come' that's right, sure they do! Because you're a spoiled kid who can't take care of herself! Yes, they'll probably save us, but did you ever think of fixing things up yourself? They will obviously help you! They can't let someone they," He was actually tearing up. "They can't let someone they know and are fond of die."
Wendy was crying.
