Artemis looked at the contraption in surprise, what the hell was this?

She hated to alert her idiotic teammates, but this needed to be investigated by the boy wonder.

"Found something, probably the thing that's-"

Each team member took out their com and shook it hard, why was Artemis cut off?

Despite their current deep hatred for each other, the team still did care about one another. A little bit.

Artemis was clinging for her life at the edge of the machine, trying not to be sucked into deep space.  Or that's what it looked like.

The contraption was big and gray.  It kind of looked like a giant metal donut with a vast sci fi scene beyond it... Artemis didn't want that.

All of a sudden, Artemis saw her team. And she was actually glad.

Dick rushed into the room and grasped Artemis's open hand,"Arty!" a nickname Artemis hadn't heard, because he never talked to her after she spilled his identity,"Just hold on, we'll get out of this!"

Conner rushed in,"Artemis!" her big white rabbit's face was filled with concern.  He grasped Robin's hand, a kind of chain was forming, trying to tug Artemis out.

Megan floated in, her martian sister,"Artemis, omgz, are you fine?"  she floated over to Conner and started to pull on him.

Wally sped in,"What the hell Arty?  Girlfriends aren't allowed to get sucked into transdimensionalspacetimetravellingmachines!"

"What?!" Kaldur grapsed Wally's hand and started helping the team to tug Artemis back to safety.

Roy stumbled in,"Guys!  Bad guys!"

"What?!" Conner let go of Dick and Artemis.

Dick and Artemis disappeared into the whatever Wally had called it.

Wally sped in after them.

Conner, Megan, Kaldur, and Roy shrugged before surging into the deep space.
