"Shouldn't this be easy?" Dick said, sitting on the rafter above Conner's head.

"Well, we did wreck our relationships pretty badly.  It's going to be hard to repair them." Kaldur said, sitting on a chair, with his back up straight in good posture.

"Where do we start?" Megan asked, twirling her hair.

"Apologize?" Wally asked, looking uncertain as he leaned against Roy's back.

The team was silent for a long time, until Conner spoke, "Who wants to go first?"

"Um... I guess I will..." Artemis said awkwardly, "Wait, do I have to mean it?"

"Well, duh, if we really truly want to get back, shouldn't we mend our relationships fully?" Wally asked, sitting up straight when Kaldur glared at him.

"This is gonna take a long time." Roy commented, sighing and standing up from the bench.

"Why?" Dick asked, doing a small flip down from the rafter.

"Well, if you think about it, none of us are really ready to forgive each other.  We need to be happy with each other before we actually mean it... mean forgiving each other." Roy said, explaining what he had said.

"That's gonna take a long long time!" Artemis said, sighing.

"Well what should we do?" Wally said, munching on a protein bar, "I'm kinda really bored."

"Same here...." Conner said, sitting back down, and stepping aside so that Dick could climb back up the wall.

"Well, if there's a kitchen I could make us some cookies?" Megan said, twirling her hair again in a nervous way.

"Course, I love your cookies..." Roy smiled at her, "And if this is the same Batcave I know, then I'll show you to the kitchen!"

"Really?" Megan said, in disbelief, "You like my cookies?"

"None are better!" Roy said kindly, "Except maybe Alfred's, but then again, his cookie baking achievements are kind of unparalleled!"

"Yeah, his are the best!" Wally said smiling, "Well, I'm coming with you and Roy... so maybe you can let me eat the cookie dough?"

"That's bogus..." Artemis said glaring, as she stood up to stand by Megan and Roy, "Megan likes me better, so she'll give me the cookie dough.  Us girls gotta stand together against you boys!"

Megan looked at her in confusion, "You still wanna be friends?"

"I honestly forget why I was mad at you.... so, you know... are you gonna give me or Wally the dough?" Artemis urged, winking at her.

"Ooh... I'll split it!" Megan said kindly, in Megan fashion.

"Oh no, the cookie dough is mine losers!" Dick flipped down, "Now let me escort this fine Martian lady upstairs!"

"That's my job Dickie!" Roy said, grabbing Megan's arm.

"We can both do it!" Dick said, smiling winningly.

"No, no, no, no.... only her boyfriend is allowed to do that!" Conner said, pushing both of them out of the way.

"We're still...." Megan asked, "Bf and gf?"

"Of course, now come... wait where are we going?"  Conner asked, looking at Roy.

"Upstairs, coming Kal?" Roy asked, looking at his friend.

"Of course, I was wondering when you would formally invite me..." Kaldur said, standing up.

"Time to make cookies!" Megan cried.

BEEEEEEEEEEP!

"What's that?" Megan asked.

"The alarm." Dick looked up, "It only beeps when there's an emergency, so...."

"We need to change."  Artemis said.

"NO prob there." Wally said, spinning into his costume.

"And I have no troubles." Kaldur said, taking off his jacket.

"Well wait for the rest of us will you?" Roy said, quickly rushing into one of the many many bathrooms in the house, Artemis on his tail, trying to find the girls bathroom.

"I'm finished changing." Megan said, her costume changed quickly enough.

Dick smiled, somehow already changed, "Well.... let's go down to the cave and we'll see who's causing an alarm."

"Wait, will we get to fight in Gotham?  I thought that there was a no capes rule." Conner said, he mind immediately wandering to Superman.  The team looked to Dick, who was, the person who knew the most about Gotham.

"We don't know about this universe, but I think that there probably is a no capes rule.  And... plus, if I'm right, then this universe's Batman has his computer alert him when there are Justice League emergency's." Dick replied, rushing down to the elevator, Wally quickly speeding after him.

"Hey, wait!" Artemis and Roy were rushing up to the rest of the team, their bows ready to shoot, and their costumes on.

"Wait..." Kaldur stopped, "How are we supposed to fight if we aren't a team yet?"

"Well...." Megan said, and everyone turned to hear her out, "The world's in danger right?  I think we should put aside our differences, after all, we are trying to fight for the same thing.  And that's to save lives and make the world a better place."

"So, we just need to save people together at this point?" Artemis asked.

"Yeah," Wally smiled, then grabbed her hand, causing her to blink, "So let's do this!!"

A/N:  Sorry this chapter is really short, I kinda just rushed through it.  I'll probably update two chapters by the end of the next two weeks, and one of them will probably be a lot longer. Sorry :)
