"Come on sir, you must understand it from my point of view, he's a god. He has a son. He's worth something." White teeth gleamed like daggers in the darkness surrounding them. "So yes, we are going to steal your power, and trap him like a mouse."

"You're forgetting... My son has friends."

"Oh no I'm not. Anyone who's stupid enough to protect him can die in the maze."

"You're a-"

"Monster?" A sound of wings flapping against the cold air reverberated throughout the cold, dank room. "I wouldn't say that... When your son is the way he is."

"He can control it! That monster you refer to isn't-"

"Human. We know." A ripple of clothing, shoes scraping against the floor. "We also know about a certain someone, I believe the name is... Hiro?"

Fireworks. They were always the prertties things you could look forward to. No one looked forward to the smell of burning flesh though. No one wanted to taste the gunpowder in the air. No one wanted history to repeated itself.

"No... No!" Agito growled. "No! This is /my/ forest! Stay away! Get away!" He summoned roots and formed a barricade. "Please, get away from me!"

"Demon! Monster! Demon!" 

His body froze. "They're... Repeating the past..." He realized in horror. "Stop! You have a treaty with us!"

The humans are attacking the forest. But... Why? They needed to find out what was happening, why the humans were choosing now to attack, or why they were attacking in the first place. Why do they wish for the blood of a God? Why do they wish for what happened 100 years ago?

Time to decide if you forgive the God of Kodama for what he's done. Or... If you will be there, to see his head roll off his body.
