Sam in the very beginning was against the video because his little Jakey was gonna get hurt. It was his little brilliant idea to make a video to get eggs slingshotted at him. Sam told him not to but Jake was stubborn and continued. So when the little started crying on the ground after bleeding on his face and a huge welt on his chest, everyone thought he was just being dramatic but Sam knew better. He saw the way his lip quivered.
Sam hurried to the little and knelt down by him. "Baby, are you okay?" Jake looked up at the blonde and shook his head as his eyes shone with tears. Sam's heart broke at the sight and helped him up and inside ignoring the others questions and accusations. Jake made Sam promise to never tell anyone and Sam didn't. He wanted Jake to trust him. Sam helped the little up the stairs and into his room. He had Jake lay on his bed while he ran to the bathroom to get disinfectant and bandaids. When he got back, Jakes eyes were closed and he was whimpering. Sam rushed over, "It's okay baby, I'm here. Daddy's gonna fix you all up! Such a good boy for Daddy."
Jake laid still as he got cleaned up. Sam patted Jakes stomach when he was done and Jake sat up and looked up at Sam's blue eyes and said, "I'm sorry, Daddy"
Sam frowned, "Why are you sorry princess?"
Jake looked down, " I was stupid... I hurt and you sad."
Sam pulled the sad boy into his arms and said, "Nononono, Jakey it's okay. You wanted to make a video for your viewers but you have to take care of yourself too! Daddy was worried about you sweetheart. You got hurt and I couldn't help without telling the guys and betraying your trust! You have to tell Daddy when you feel little." Jake nods against Sam's shoulders and the blonde can feel the wet spot on his shoulder grow. Sam rubs his baby's back and hushes him. "Daddy's proud of you baby boy. Don't forget that."
Jake starts crying more and says, "Thank you, Daddy."
"No need to thank me baby, it's just the truth."
Jake snuggled up to Sam and Sam couldn't think of a place he rather be.
