"Dad, can I go sleep in the treehouse tonight? It's so beautiful out and really warm!" 

"Sure honey. Just be careful out there. Don't forget bug spray!"

"Ok Dad! Good night! See you in the morning!"

With that, Rose sped up to her room like a roadrunner, picking up this and that for her self-sleepover in the treehouse. When finished getting her necessities, she opened the back door and was in the tree house in a wink. 

Rolling her sleeping bag and blanket out on the floor of the treehouse, she wished she could stay in this moment forever. Not having anything to do, she went to bed. She soon fell asleep, thinking about what a wonderful summer she would have. Nights in the treehouse, days reading books and messing around with Dad.

Rose was a dreamer. She knew because she could always remember anything she dreamed about, and it always seemed to her like she would wake up and think, for a split second, that everything that happened in the dream had actually happened. Then she would normally go downstairs, eat cereal, and watch movies, just her dad and her.

Tonight, she dreamed one big dream. She dreamed that she was in India, exploring and having a good time for a while. Then she realized that her father was not with her. The dream quickly turned to a nightmare. In it, she frantically searched the world for him, but never found him. Then, she woke up.
