This story began in the year 1205, with the world currently in a state of Chaos, with Knights, Wizards, Monsters and Armies at war. This story is one of many, about how the musketeers brought peace, freedom and security to the land of Sotex. It was named after the monster that used to inhabit this land before the time of men.

This land is dangerous and full of either animals or men alike, trying to kill you. There are two armies in this land, the one that is to the south east, is the Indio Kingdom, with its army of water Wraiths, who are honourable men, that serve the great Queen Asvini, the foresighted, who is beloved to be one of the wisest beings of the land.

To the north west was the Inferno Kingdom, which brings a army of pure evil, that kills for power and fun. The Inferno Wraiths are men that have had their mind poisoned from a young age, recruited into the army to kill. They follow the Dragon Emperor, the most powerful, devious and bitter being to ever exist. He wants to destroy the land of Sotex, with everything in it either dying or joining his cause for power.

In between these two powerful factions, there are villages and towns, that make trades of goods and supplies to the Indio Kingdom. Some stay neutral choosing not to side with either Kingdom and to live a peaceful life. The world is cruel and out of Balance. However, as more villages are falling into this war, getting burnt, guttered and enslaved to the Inferno Kingdom.

However, this story is about how a few men banded together to try to make a change to this unjust world. Before, they were known as the muskeeteers, they were known as different titles. These being The Sentinel, Scarlet Bolt and the Crimson Priest.

The Sentinel is a strong man in his early twenties, with a determination like no other. He has trained most his life for combat. He is often found forming small groups for quests. For the people, he quickly became known as honourable man, who would help villages and towns build defences, train men and find food during the winter seasons. He often builds a new group every few months as the quests he takes are dangerous and have casualties.

Scarlet Bolt was the youngest of the three men and had trained to become an assassin. His skinny build with light muscle made him very fast and stealthy. He lives in pain, not accepting what happened to his family, when he was young. Instead he keeps choosing to run from it. He gets money by killing targets, as he is a well known assassin across the land. He uses his money to just scrap by on food and shelter.

The last but not least is the Crimson Priest, a holy man brought up by the Crimson Church, which has now been by the Inferno army, this happened when he was 19.  He was often looked down on, for his aggressive natural way at the church and how he now has no rules.  A few years later he becomes the defender of a small town called NightWalker. Spreading his message of God, while harnessing his aggressive side, to the defend the innocent people of the town.

These three men would eventually meet and form the Blood Crusaders. They were made up of people who wanted to fight. However, these three were quickly known as the three Muskeeters and this is the story why.
