Graham P.O.V

Chase and I moved the townspeople back behind the fire break Boulder had made before he ran in to keep the roof up. Dani at the moment stood looking at the house waiting for everyone to come out with Cody.

We know that he is injured but we don't know how bad it is so Dani is on standby as she waits for the team to come out so she can help our baby brother. I heard a creak and turned towards our home as the walls were coming down and they are still inside.

Chief Burns P.O.V

I ran to get out with Cody in my arms, I can't see him properly because of the ash that covers him and the thick smoke surrounding us, but I do see bright red blood on his forehead.

As I was running the wall fell down covering the only exit, I quickly cover Cody the best I could so the falling rocks wouldn't hit him, injuring Cody more then he already is.

" Get in " Heatwave screams. He transforms into vehicle mode and we all got in. I sat in the back seat with Cody leaning on me as I put on our seat belts, as Kade does the same in the Driver's seat.

" Hold on tight, " Heatwave says. Knowing what he is thinking I wrap one arm around Cody and the other hand on the seat in front of me as Kade grabs hold of the wheel.

Heatwave starts up then drives fast at the fallen wall hitting it out of the ways as we get out of the house with Blades and Boulder following. Heatwave stoped near Dani as I got out hold my baby boy close, but softly and run to her. Dani tells me to put Cody on the ground as I go help stop the fire from getting worse.

Dani P.O.V

I look down at my baby brother, to see he is covered in ash. I quickly grabbed a wet towel to clean his face with so I could begin looking him over for injuries. Once all the ash was off his face and neck as best I could, I can see the primary injuries like cuts and bruises, plus the superficial ones such as burns of all standards.

The crucial injuries I can see is the deep cut on his forehead that is most likely going to also have a concussion, but don't know how bad and the harmful burns, then there is the fact Cody couldn't walk to get to a safer area is ether a spine injury or what I am hoping it is because of the head injury.

I look up to see the fire has been put out and dad, Kade and Graham came over and ask questions like is he alright or what are his injuries. I tell them what I know as I get Blades to come over. I got a small oxygen tank and put a mask over Cody's mouth and nose to help him breathe, easier.

Chief Burns P.O.V

I watch as Dani but the mask on Cody sadly. It was my fault he was injured because I didn't make sure that lava had completely stopped we only guessed. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see Kade.

" don't blame it all on you dad we are all at fault," Kade said

" yea, I mean none of us to check to make sure it hadn't run anywhere even when we saw it disappear when we were to think that it was abnormal," Graham said

" We are all to blame, all of us we are rescue bots and we are meant to protect everyone, how can we do that is we can't even do it for the one we know the best. " Heatwave said, with nods from his team.

" Blades we need to get Cody to the hospital, Dad you coming with us I could use the help. " Dani says I nod in reply, and softly pick Cody off the ground and into the safety basket with the help of Dani as she had placed him on a backboard and a neck brace on to help reduce any further injuries, with the portable oxygen tank in my hand I carry one end of the basket in to Blades. I get into Blades and hold Cody's lose hand close telling him it is going to be ok.
