It has been 2 months since the fire, it has been hard getting around and trying to get Dad to let me help in the field again but he says it's to dangerous and will only let me help one small things that won't put me in harms way.

I have also had other problems such as whenever there is an explosion or fire and i hear or am near it i freeze and can't move move at all and all the memories from that night come back at once.

Today was like a normal weekend now a days where the bots and my family would be out all day rescuing the towns folk and stopping run away tech while i stay at home, on the coms or just rolling around the firehouse.

I roll out of the firehouse with the basketball in my lap as i head out to the family court. it's been awhile since i last played and i haven't in my wheelchair yet and i want to practice as tomorrow is Sunday and we play Burns ball every Sunday, and i haven't been able to play for the last 2 months, I haven't even been able to throw the ball around.

I start to bounce the ball to my side and it works so i start to try and move the while bouncing the ball which doesn't work and the ball rolls off. i sigh and watch the ball roll off as i look at my lap.

hey Cody what are you doing

I look up to see Kade walking over to me with the basketball in his hands.

i was trying to practice for burns ball tomorrow but i might as well give it up, as i can't even bounce the ball

I say while rolling away back to the firehouse, when i am stopped by Kade grabbing the handles of my chair, note i hate the handles.

Where do you think your going you have some more practice to do if you want to play tomorrow

i turn around and look at Kade with a surprised look he was going to help me.

I turn around and Kade passes the ball to me and we start with throwing the ball to each other while standing/sitting then we move to throwing it while moving then it was throwing the in the basket, which i ended up getting it in after a couple of tries.

Then we moved to bouncing the ball while moving which we ended up being while but i got it and Kade and i played a one on one game until it got late and we went in to have dinner and go to bed.

The next day

I woke up very existed for the game so i got up and got dressed and rolled down the ramp, and i went to have breakfast with the family then we went to by Burns Balls. We got outside and went to the two teams and played.

We played until dinner and we were like that there was only one emergency for the day and that was all and we played most of the day, i even got some goals it was a great day and i can't wait to start to get my life was getting closer to the way it was before the fire, but there is still a long way to go.
