No one's P.O.V

Everyone watched cheerfully as the lava gradually went down the side of the volcano and vanish. Dani and Blades had assembled with the team below, as they slowly made their way home to the firehouse where Cody was waiting for them, as they departed, they didn't notice the lava disappearing into a side tunnel.

Cody's P.O.V

I had gone down to the bunker to wait for my family and the bots to get back from the mission. I know they are going to take there time, as Kade would stop to get something to eat, Dani would stop by the shop to get food, Graham would go to Dr Green 's to see if he knows what prompted the lava to restart flowing out, and Dad would patrol on the way home. So I had at least half an hour to myself which was plenty of time to repair the game Boulder accidentally damaged when attempting to play earlier.

Ten minutes had passed and it was honestly warning up in her. I have just completed the game repairs, so I got up to discover why it's so hot in here when I saw that the heater was off, I commenced with walking around when I got to the entrance that leads to the tunnels. I put my hand on it as it's certainly warmer here than the rest of the room. I removed my palm as fast as possible, then peered at my hand to see the red and slowly plastering palm.

I was about to open the entrance when it blasts open hitting me full on my back "AHHHHHHH" I cried out as the door crashed into my back and shoved me forward, slamming into the opposite wall with my head first, as I blacked out.

I came to and quickly peeked at my watch I had ten minutes before my family got back, I slowly move my hand to my head to pull away from the feeling of blood running down the front. I promptly had a think of what injuries I might have, I had what I think was a concussion before I felt the agonising pain in my back, came to the forefront of my mind, stopping me from thinking of any other injury that could have occurred.

I rolled to my side and notice that lava was entering fast and the bunker was on fire with one path in and out. I quickly try to stand but fell, I looked up from me to see the wall com, I looked at my watch and saw I have five minutes before my family got back, then I look back at the lava and fire setting the house alight and the smoke that was filling the air rapidly.

I thought hastily before pulling myself up the wall and pressing the green button that happened to be the comlink and dad came up on the screen then slowly everyone and everybot was there.

" Cody what's up, " kade said

" fire in the bunker," I said slowly and softly desiring that they could hear me or even see me but I don't think so since I didn't turn it on to the camera.

" Cody you need to say it louder or wait until we get home in three minutes," Graham said back, I sigh and try to turn on the camera as soon as I did. I fell down the wall my legs no longer able to support me, all they could view was the fire.

" Cody get out of the HOUSE!! " I heard my dad call out

" Can't move " I said as audible as I could.

" hold on Cody me there in 35secs " I heard dad yell

" Cody stay awake and communicate with us " I heard Dani say but everything was getting tougher to hear and I was beginning to fall asleep.

" Cody stays awake, breath slowly and stay close to the ground, but DON'T closes your eyes!! " Kade said

" ok " was all I could say.

I could hear the bots outside and water going everywhere including yelling. ' I guess upstairs is on fire too ' I heard others from the town coming to the house and many were asking where I was. I listened carefully as I drifted off.

Chief Burns P.O.V

As soon as I saw the bunker was on fire and Cody was in there saying he can't move, I told Chase to step on it. As soon as I arrived at the firehouse I noticed my other kids coming up and getting straight to it, Kade and Heatwave, started to get rid of the fire as Dani followed I was about to go when I noticed the towns flock coming up they saw the others but not Cody, I had everyone ask were he is, and I guess one look at my face they now the answer and as soon as that they all ran off and came back with horse and buckets of water, I watched as they helped with the fire on the outside as I ran inside.

when I got there I opened the floor that leads to the bunker and looked in as I saw my youngest son on the ground drifting to sleep, with the lava dangerously close to him, we don't have time for a rescue basket to be brought in and lowed for Cody to brought up safer, as we are running on maybe a minute before the lava touches him and it's to close for heatwave to spray water on it to slow down the flow as Cody would get caught in between the cross of water and lava, and alternately that could be worse.

" CODY!!! " I screamed down I saw him look up and said

" Dad," he said softly with a small smile and closes his eyes

" CODY STAY AWAKE KADE IS COMING DOWN TO GET YOU!! " I screamed down, I nodded to Kade

" We don't have time for the basket it's a grab and go." I voicing my previous thoughts to him as Kade went down to get Cody out. I saw Cody open his eyes a little. As Kade picked him up there was a scream from Cody, I look down to Kade to see he had a scared look on his face.

As Heatwave brought the two up I noticed the roof coming down and Boulder and Blades ran in to hold the roof up. As soon as Kade and Cody were up, Kade passed Cody to me and undid the rope we all ran as the roof in front was coming down.

A/N

1- Just went through and added and deleted parts and hopefully made it a little better with spelling and grammar, will be doing all chapters as I hope it will give me ideas to new chapters. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know I could use some help. Updated 1.10.19

2- the first chapter done hope you like it and sorry it is long, and also sorry about the spelling mistakes I wrote it on my laptop the doesn't have spell-check. anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR finally start year 10 and hopeful 2 years of school left, plus I can drive in 9 months!!!!!
