Nahko's POV

Bulkhead has been improving quickly, but still has a light limp and hasn't been cleared for active duty by Ratchet yet. Jazz and I were thinking of going for a ride. We enter the main room to see Smokescreen with the apex armor. He is approaching Bulkhead and Ratchet. "I smell trouble" Jazz tells me and I nod my helm in agreement.

"Hey, Bulkhead, I've been thinking. With your injury and all, you might want to take advantage of the armor I snagged from Starscream. Instant muscle suit!" Smokescreen declares. I face palm.

"You think I need a crutch?!" Bulkhead demands. Breaking something of Ratchet's.

"Bulkhead, I needed that!" Ratchet shouts.

"Ok, everyone calm down" I tell them. "Bulk, please go cool off" I say and he nods. Walking away and grabs his lob ball. He starts to do some exercises with it.

"Looks like he's fit for duty to me" Smokescreen states.

"I agree" Jazz adds.

"You both don't even know what you're talking about" Ratchet grumbles and goes to fix the screen Bulkhead broke.

"Can I help?" I ask him.

"No, I got it" he assures me. "Though it'd help if Rafael were here" he states.

"Where is Raf?" I ask him. He just nods to Jack who is on the phone. I head over to Jack and Miko, to hear Jack talking to Raf.

"You've got to be kidding, Raf. You of all people grounded?" Jack asks shocked. I blink, that is surprising.

"Big time. I misplaced some homework and blew a couple of tests" Raf explains.

"Translation "A-" instead of "A" Miko says.

"I'm probably spending too much time at the base" Raf states.

"If you want, I could come help you study" I tell him.

"Seriously, how are you my sister? You no longer have to go to school and want to study" Miko states.

"I wonder the same about you sometimes my dear twin" I tease her. Just then we hear Raf's mum on the other end.

"Say hi to Bee for me, ok? Until I improve these grades, I'm off team Prime" Raf tells us. Before hanging up.

"Just when we get one back, we lose another" Miko sighs.

"Don't worry Miko, Raf will turn his grades around in no time" I assure her. "Besides I'm sure of we really need him, he'll be there" I add. "I'm gonna go tell Bee" I state and go look for him. I find him in the training room. "Yo Bee, Raf won't be coming to base for a while. He is grounded" I tell him. He looks at me confused. "He isn't allowed to leave his house except for school" I clarify and he nods his helm.

(Time skip)

We were all called to the main room. Agent Fowler has some news. "At 16:30 hours, a satellite was stolen from a high-security military bolt. Surveillance shows the Decepticon known as Breakdown at the scene" he explains.

"Haven't seen him in a while" Bulkhead states.

"It looks like Breakdown entered the base in vehicle mode with someone behind the wheel" Fowler tells us.

"Good one Agent Fowler, the cons would never partner with humans" Jazz tells him.

"I agree" I state.

"And I have a pretty good hunch who" Fowler tells us. "The stolen satellite was project Damocles" he states.

"Invented by Silas" Optimus says.

"I guess the former Colonel Bishop wanted it back" Fowler states.

"I thought Silas died" Bee beeps.

"Yeah, I thought Silas was paste?" Arcee asks.

"We know his body was never found" Jazz reminds them.

"Yes, but a rogue con I'd believe would side with M.E.C.H. But not Megatron, unless there was something in it for him" I state.

"I agree, I highly doubt that Megatron would entertain such an idea" Ratchet agrees.

"Why not? The human-bot alliance works for us" Jack states.

"Most of the time" Arcee agrees.

"Dude, my sister was human" Miko reminds her.

"Yeah, now I'm a techno organic freak with powers of a Prime" I state.

"You are not a freak gorgeous" Jazz tells me.

"I can't even transform" I remind him.

"Most techno-organics can't" Ratchet tells me.

"Lets forget about me and focus on the problem at hand. Is Breakdown rogue or still a con? Also what is project Damocles?" I ask Fowler.

"Damocles is a particle-beam cannon so powerful it can slice up the Pentagon like a birthday cake or give everyone on Mount Rushmore a mohawk, all from a satellite in orbit" he explains as it appeared on screen. "It's the work of a madman. And in Megatron's hands A threat to anyone, anywhere on the planet. With pinpoint accuracy at the flick of a switch" he states.

"Sounds like something bucket head would want" Jazz states crossing his arms.

"So the cons have the satellite, do they need anything else to control it?" I ask Fowler. He nods his head taking out a folder.

"The Cons may have the satellite, but they can't use it without the interface code" he tells us. "The only existing copy is stored on the secured servers at headquarters in Colorado" he explains. As the location appears on screen.

"We must keep the code out of Decepticon hands at all costs" Optimus declares. It was decided I'd stay behind with Bulkhead and Ratchet. Bulkhead and I are back up. While Optimus, Jazz, Arcee, Bee, Smokescreen went to the military base.

"Don't worry Bulk, I am sure we'll both see some action" I assure him. He just grunts. And we wait to hear from the others.

"Ratchet, we require backup!" Optimus shouts over the comms.

"I'm there" Bulkhead says.

"We both are" I agree. But Ratchet stops us.

"Can you remotely disable project Damocles under Agent Fowler's advisement?" Optimus asks.

"On a human-based computer network without my backup? Without Rafael?" Ratchet asks.

"We'll get him, open that bridge to his room" Fowler tells him. Ratchet nods and opens it. All the humans go through.

"Ratchet, I know you don't think Bulkhead is ready. But we can't seat here and do nothing. Please give us something to do" I tell him.

"Very well, you are cleared for duty" he tells Bulkhead, who cheers.  "A duty of my choosing" he states. "Optimus and the others maybe distracting the cons, but they still might detect what Rafael is doing. You both will go guard his house, together. I shall send back up to you when possible" he states.

"Lets rock and roll Bulk" I tell him. He nods and transforms. I get in and he drives us to Raf's house. As we near it, we see Breakdown about to fire on Raf's head. "Oh no you don't, Bulk ram him" I tell him.

"With pleasure" he says picking up speed. He rams into Breakdown pushing him away from Raf's house. I get out of Bulkhead as he goes into the ravine and he transforms with Breakdown. I take to the sky, ready to cover Bulkhead if needed. "Been itching to trade pay with you again. Where you been, Breakdown?" he asks.

"Be patient. I'm about to send you there" Breakdown tells him. I frown.

"You're not Breakdown" Bulk states.

"But you are Bulkhead, and this is the last time you'll interfere with one of my operations. Along with Nahko Prime, is it?" the mech asks looking up at me. I fire a warning shot.

"Silas" Bulkhead says.

"In the flesh, in a manner of speaking" Silas states. He and Bulkhead start to fight. I try to get a shot, but they are to close and I won't risk hurting Bulkhead.

"Damn it" I curse. "Ratchet, Bulkhead and I need help. Silas is control Breakdown's corpse and I can't get a clean shot without possibly hurting Bulkhead" I tell him.

"I'll call Optimus, hang on" he tells me.

"Reaction time is slow. You're favoring your right side" Silas states. I fire and graze his arm. He yells and glares up at me.

"Remember he isn't alone" I sneer. He fires at me and I dodge it. Bulkhead charges him. But Silas back hands him with his hammer arm.

"You should have stayed in bed, Autobot" Silas tells Bulkhead.

"Hey ugly!" I shout and fire at him.

"You pest" he snarls and  fires at me. But again I dodge him. "Come down and face me" he demands.

"Why would I give up my high ground?" I ask him sneering. Just then we hear screeching tyres. I look to see Smokescreen and he sends Silas flying.

"Assist what the new guy's for" Smokescreen states helping Bulkhead to his feet.

"One new guy to another this is your final day on the job" Silas tells him. He starts to fight them both. I go to help when Ratchet calls me.

"Nahko, they have the code and are targeting Raf's house. You got to warn them" he tells me.

"On it" I tell him. "Smokescreen, Bulkhead I give you permission to end Silas once and for all" I tell him.

"It'd be my pleasure" Bulkhead says.

"Whatever you say maam" Smokescreen. I grind my teeth and take off back to Raf's house. I arrive to see the beam miss Raf's house and sigh. I activate my disguise and enter his room through the window. To see them cheering.

"You did it Raf" I say smiling.

"Yeah" he says and just then there is a knock on the door. I grab books and toss them to everyone. We sit on the ground pretend to be helping Raf study as his mum appears.

"Rafael Jorge Gonzales Esquivel! What is going on in here?" she demands.

"Study group" Raf tells her.

"Raf called and said he was having toruble Mrs Esquivel. So we thought we could all help each other" I tell her.

"Who are you and the man?" she demands.

"I'm Miko's tutor, her grades are worse then your son's. Though that's only because she ever studies. I thought a study group would help her" I state. Ignoring Miko's annoyed look.

"Well it's a school night, I think you should all head home now" she states.

"Of course, I am sorry we're here so late. We lost track of time" I tell her. "Come on Miko, Jack I will give you both a lift home" I tell them. We all leave Raf's room with Agent Fowler. We go meet up with Smokescreen and Bulkhead. We learnt Silas got away. But at least the satellite was destroyed. Besides I doubt Silas will be alive much longer after disappointing Megatron.

When we got back to base, we learnt Soundwave also escaped. But at least no one was seriously hurt or killed during the fight. We all just needed a good night of rest according to Ratchet. Jack and Miko went home. Though Agent Fowler will have to relocate Raf and his family as the cons now know where they live. I can't wait to hear what story he comes up with for that. Anyway, I fell asleep as soon as I laid down. I guess I used to much energy today.
