The deception ship hovered over a moitntain, then a plate form lowers into the cave, there were drills and cons pushing stacked energon crystals " Of the energon deposits we have located while you were away, Lord Megatron, this one is by far the most significant. The drones have been mining without a pause during your absence, and have amassed quite a stockpile." Starscream says to lord megatron "You there! Fetch me a sample!" He points at a random con

"Starscream!" He flinched from his masters voice "Now that I have returned I will issue the commands." He said

"I Understand, Lord Megatron. Then as your humble servant, shall I ready the Space Bridge to bring forth the Decepticon army you have surely gathered during your three years in
space?" Starscream asked

"My army will come. But my time away has yielded a more intriguing means of materializing them." He holds a pUrple crystal form of Energon "The solidified form of the matter the ancient texts referred to as the Blood of Unicron!" Starscream was intrigued "Unicron the Destroyer But it is said that his blood is the anti-Spark."

"Plucked from cosmic shores, gaze upon Dark Energon!" Megatron said "Legend tells that it holds the power to...revive the dead."

"We require only a cadaver to be certain. Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?" His master asked, which he laughs nervously "ahem, that may not be necessary. If I may, Lord Megatron?" The cons brought up

Cliffjumpers body....restrained "Consider it a welcome-home present." A smirk made its way onto his face

Back at base

"And since you know of our existence, I fear, as of last night, the decepticons know of yours." Optimus said. "Got it, if we spot any strange vehicles, call 911. Can we go now?" Jack said

"Are you insane? I'm living a dream here in Bots-wana and I will not allow you or anyone else to shatter it!" Miko said.

"It is best that you four remain under our watch, at least until we can determine our enemy's intentions." Optimus stated.

Ratchet then came and stood next to him."Optimus," he muttered. "With all due respect, the human children are in as much danger here than anywhere else. Ones hard enough as it is, no offence melody" he said referring to melody

"Children?" Jack asked, his voice lined with an offensive tone " hey! I take comeplete offence" The girl on the railing complained from The technical insult

"They have no protective shell! If they get underfoot, they will go...squish."he said, stomping his foot towards them. Jack, Raf, and Miko back up

"Then for the time being Ratchet, we must watch where we step." Optimus answered, making small movements with his hands.

Suddenly an alarm went off and the two bots turned in different directions. Ratchet then walked forward to the massive main computer as the others looked at the green screen.

"What's that?" Jack asked, starting to panic a little. Bumblebee made beeping sound which Jack and Miko couldn't understand, so Raf explained what he said to them."Proximity sensor, someone's up top." Raf pointed upwards.   

"It's Agent Fowler." Ratchet said, sounding quite grim.

" again..." melody sighs exhaustedly

"I thought we were the only one's who knew of you," Jack stammered

"Special Agent Fowler is our designated liaison to the outside world. As he tends to visit only when there are...issues." Optimus Prime responded " and happens to be melody's father" their eyes pop out as they look at her " what?!?"

" he's your dad?!" Jack exclaimed " step-dad" melody rolled her eyes "It may be best if you do not meet him at this time." Prime adds

With that said, Jack, Raf, Miko ran over to a wall by the stairway up, hoping they wouldn't get caught while melody stayed where she was, the elevator door opened revealing, agent fowler "Seven wrecks, thirty-four fender benders, a three hour traffic jam, and a...rather peculiar note. Reports of a racing motorcycle of unknown make," a deep masculine voice resonated around the base.

Optimus walked forward in the direction of the voice while the other autobots, Ratchet, in particular, rolled his eyes and walked away. "And a black and yellow custom muscle car. So, anything you care to get off that tin chest, Prime?"

"We have the situation under control Agent Fowler." Optimus assured him.    "They're back aren't they?"

"If you are referring to the Decepticons, I have doubts that the ever left. Your planet is much too valuable."  

"Then, it's time to wake up the Pentagon." Agent Fowler said firmly.     

"Hear me, Agent Fowler." Optimus leaned in even closer, seemingly to look down at the human as his voice rumbled with a depth that could not be ignored. "We are your best - possibly your only - defence against the Decepticon threat."  

"Say you." Fowler retorted.

" dad.." melody began

"Hey, fleshy," Bulkhead stated. "Did anyone get splattered on that freeway? Team Prime knows when to use force, and how much to use it." He had grabbed an object off the computers next to him, smashing it in his hand. Sparks rained down to the floor below, the amount of sheer might behind the action making his point

"Bulkhead, I NEED THAT!" Ratchet shouted, looking at him. Bulkhead looked at the crushed device in his hand. Melody shook her head with amusement at what happen."ENOUGH!" Optimus Ordered.

"Military involvement will only result in catastrophe. Perhaps you can condone widespread human casualties Agent Fowler. I, however cannot."

"Then do us both a favor, and handle this, Prime. Under the radar," and with that, he turned and made his way to the elevator. He tapped the button, and just as the door shut: "Or I will...see you at home melody" And with that, he was gone and the others came out of hiding."Pretty big bearings, for a human," Bulkhead muttered, stepping beside Optimus

"A little too big if you ask me," All eyes turned to melody. " what? It's true!"

"Agent Fowler is concerned for his world, Bulkhead, as he should be." 

With the decepticons

Cliffs body remained strapped down, cons around as megatron approached with the dark energon in hand "Let us see if power born of darkness can reignite the spark." He then stabbed cliff's chest, the cons and starscream started backing up when cliffs body started shaking, it absorbed into his chest with a purple arua, he woke, but he stared snarling, he broke the first restraint, and the cons started arming

As soon as the last broke, he jumped one of the cons, throwing punches while it kept trying to shoot him but then it's ripped his arm off, megatron seemed pleased with the outcome, another then shot cliff, but he remained unscathed, Few more shops and he still wouldn't go down, He then tackled the other Con

"That's your plan?! Bring Autobots back from the dead to attack us?!" Starscream exclaimed

"That is no longer an Autobot. Just a mindless beast, its only instinct to destroy anything in it's path." As megatron spoke, cliffs zombie roared and charged them, starscream backed away while megatron sliced him in half, and his body fell into the pit "There, Starscream, lies the indestructible seed of my army. The ultimate weapon!" Cliffs top self held on roaring, until megatron stomper it down and his top half yell "Once I learn to control it."

Back at base

Suddenly the computer made a beeping noise and Ratchet stared at the screen with wide eyes."Blasted Earth tech! Cliffjumper's life signal just popped back online!" Ratchet informed everyone."Who Cliffjumper?" Miko asked."How is that possible?" Everyone ignored her as to what Optimus said."It isn't. Another bug. The systems chock full of them." Ratchet retorted."If there's any chance Cliffs alive..." Arcee said hopefully.

"Ratchet, prepare sickbay. We may need it." He ordered. Ratchet nodded."Hey!" Miko shouted, just as they were about to head off. I glance at her on what she was going to say. Optimus was looking at her. He had his face mask on."What can we do?" "Remain with Ratchet." Optimus answered."Awww." Miko pouted."Awh." Ratchet grumbled.

" optimus, please, let me come with, cliffs my friend too" melody begged " as much as I would like to grant your request, I'm afraid I must ask you to remain here this time and assist ratchet" he said, as he walked away, arcee walked up to her " don't worry m, I'll bring him back" she assured with a small smile

The tunnel on the side of the wall then lighted up from light green to dark blue with white at the end lights. It looks very beautiful to me."Autobots, roll out!" Optimus shouted, transforming.

The three also transformed and they drove into the light and disappeared. The three humans just stood there on the platform, dumbstruck, melody walking up to the computer next to ratchet

."What just happened?" Jack asked, dazed, as Ratchet shut the thing off.

"I transported them to the designated co-ordinates via ground bridge." Ratchet replied."What a ground bridge?" Raf asked. Ratchet huffed. "A scale down version of space bridge technology." He answered.

" it's a teleportation device that is capable to transport to another destination similar to space transportation." Melody clarified

Everyone stared at her, except ratchet, Jack asked, "How do you know that?" 

"Because She's my student in Cybertronian technology, since it was what gave her the ability's she has now...." the bot answered, she waved Her Energy hand, showing the three

" so wait...your a super hero?!" Milo exclaimed excited " urrr....not how I would put it...anyway, back to what ratchet was saying" melody said, Jack wanted to say something but didn't as Ratchet said, "Since we don't currently possess the means or the energon required for intergalactic travel."

"You're stuck here, on Earth." Jack concluded. Ratchet gave him a look."With the likes of you, yes." He retorted coldly.

"Does the ground bridge work for humans." Raf asked breaking the tense moment."Naturally." Ratchet replied."You mean I could pop over and visit my parents in Tokyo?" Miko asked, sounding quite hopeful. "Within moments. In fact why don't I send you there now, all three of you." He threaten, leaning down closer to Miko. She stepped forwards."Watch it Ratchet." She scolded.

The mine

Prime and the others jump out, arming the moment they transform, they look around. The cave and the blue crystals "Energon mine!" Bulk head clears fire

"Judging by it's scale the Decepticons have been tunneling here for quite some time." Followed by optimus, they could hear sound up head, they hid behind tall rocks and saw the decepticons mining the ore and packing it "Let's find Cliffjumper!" Optimus announced

They matched forward and immediately the cons start shooting, one tried to attack then with a drill, which bulkhead, with his wrecking ball, knocked over

Arcee dodges their lasers, she shot one, as she landed on it, then on another, shooting it's head off

Bumblebee doing then same, then rolling out of the way as a drill almost met with his face, prime lifted it up and shit it out the way, rapidly shooting and moving out of the way as bulkhead punched one of the cons from tackling him

Back at base

Miko was looking at some piece of alien equipment."What this anyway?" She asked moving her hand closer."Broken, don't touch." Ratchet stated, while walking over to the computer.

She was about to touch something else, when he said

"Don't touch that either." Ratchet said without turning around. "Is there anything we can touch?" Jack asked, while walking over and standing next to Miko.

Melody walked up to where the computers are, she saw  an error box popped up onto the massive green computer screen " again?" She complained, then let's out an exhausted sigh " this has to be the what, 60th time? I've already lost count"

"How come you guys are using human computers?" Raf asked who was beside her.

"It certainly isn't by choice! It was handed down from the previous lieutenants when we inherited this, former missile silo. I make modifications as I see fit." He said.

Just then, loads more error boxes showed up on the screen. Ratchet sighed in frustration."I think I can help with that." Raf said. He took out his computer from his bag and plugged it into the other computers

"Really? You do know this is complex technology don't you? I mean it isn't a child's toy." He started chuckling slightly while saying the last bit. Raf just keep typing in access codes and said,  "Now try."

Ratchet look back to the massive screen, pressed a button, and all the error boxes went bright green and disappeared off the screen

He stared at Raf, shocked

"Not bad! For someone your age you just outsmarted a giant alien robot!" Melody compliment him . "Thanks." He said with a smile.

Back at the mine

Another drill came at them, and bulk head, slammed his wrecking ball on top, making the con go flying and optimus shooting it

As they took out the last cons, more with drills showed up, they charged forward "Maximum overdrive!" Optimus ordered, as he transform, and the other three followed

They were practically playing bumper cars with the cons and the drills they knocked over, some of the cons getting shred to pieces, they re-transform as they entered the main area, taking cover, seeing cons load the lift with energon, bulkhead whistled "Quite an operation" they the. Duck as cons start shooting at them, which they relay

On the ship

Megatron looked at the giant crystal of dark energon "Blood of Unicron How might I fathom the depths of your mystery, become worthy of wielding your astonishing power?" He questions, the. Received a beep on the console and starscream's face popped up "Lord Megatron! Intruders have been detected in the mines!" He exclaimed

"Optimus?"

"Indeed."

"I need more time to prepare an appropriate reception for my old friend. Ready the ship for departure!" He ordered

"But the energon I've mined the Autobots will seize it!" Starscream exclaimed

"Then blow the mines!"

Back to the mines

The auto bots continued shooting at the cons, arcee ducked when one almost hit her, but as she looke back up, she saw cliffs body above "It's Cliff! I have a visual." She announced "We'll cover you! Go!" Optimus says

They shoot the cons blocking her path, she transforms to vehicle mode, and rides up the ramp, using obstacles to get up higher, like the rings around the lift, while dodging lasers

She lands on the same platform cliff was lying on the ground and saw his appearance, except his face, But the cons lasers blocked her path, the others shot at them to give a a path, but the cons shot the plate form below cliff so much, it started to fall "Cliff!" She ran and caught his hand before he fell

Optimus finally shot the two cons, small rocks fell so arcee covered her head slighty "Let's get you home, partner!" She smiled " m's missed you" but the moment he moved, he snarled and she gasped when she saw his face

He shook around which made her loose her grip, and the others watched as he fell into the crystal energon, prime looked up at arcee to see her dismay, So then heard laughter coming from above them and saw starscream, holding something in his hand "Prime. I'd stick around but I'm squeamish." He pushed a button on the device he was holding and it stared beeping as he let it go and fall

It was a bomb, Are you transformed into Jet mode and flew out of the cave, the bomb landed amongs the energon

"The joint's gonna blow!" Bulkhead exclaimed "Autobots, roll out!"

They transform and immediately drove off,  the bomb beeped a few more seconds before going off, an explosion of blue smoke erupted out of the top of the mountain "Ratchet! Bridge us back! Use the arrival coordinates Now!"optimus says

The ground bride reopened and the drove in

Ratchet pulled the lever which opened the ground bridge up, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee raced through. Optimus was speeding up from behind and transformed, with this blue like explosion shortly behind him. Ratchet pulled the lever again just before the blue stuff got right in the base. The four were all gasped impressively on how close he ended up to them and how he transformed just in time.

"Cutting it a bit close. How about Cliffjumper?" Ratchet then asked. The four of them then turned to Arcee. Miko chose that time to run up to the yellow metal bars."What was that explosion? Was there a fight? Can I come with next time?" Miko questioned excitedly.

Arcee growled at her. "Look..." She started, but Jack started walking up to Miko and manage to move her away. "Arcee, what did you see?" Optimus asked, kneeling in front of the smaller bot, She crossed her hands in front of her chest.

"Not Cliff...at least, not anymore. He was mutated, butchered, like, something from those con experiments during the war,"She was unable to finish as she fall to her knees and grabbed hold of a massive white box and leaned herself against it. Bumblebee asked concerned " arcee!" Melody exclaimed as they stepped forward to her. "I'm fine, just dizzy." She said, waving her hand in dismissal.

"Robots who get dizzy?" Miko asked."Robots with emotions," Raf confirmed."Robots, who can die," Jack finalized

Ratchet walked over to Arcee and a blue light scan over her body. The light went red when it ran over the female's hand. He kept on scanning until he finally stopped onto Arcee's hand. Ratchet grunted."What is this?" He asked Arcee. She shook her head and place her other hand onto her head like her head hurt or something

."Don't know, Cliff was covered in it, leaking it." She answered. Ratchet gently grabbed her hand, got a knife, and scrapped some of the strange purple substance off of her hand.

Melody stared at the substance as she sense something negative coming from it

Ratchet raised it up and looked at it."Go take a decontamination bath, now." He said. Bumblebee walked over and helped her up, leading Arcee away.

Ratchet also walked off to test that purple stuff. Jack got out his phone and raised his hand."O-Optimus. I-I hate to bug, but no bars." He said, showing the bot his phone.

Optimus leaned closer. "A security precaution, the silo walls isolate all radio waves." he stated. "Well if I don't call my mom like right now, I'm pretty sure the cops will be out looking for me." Jack said.

"Have you broken a law?" Optimus leaned closer to them."Uh, curfew it's after 10 PM." Jack said."I better get home too. Or, I'll be grounded for a year." Raf said. "Earth customs, I hadn't considered, but the issue of your safety remains." Optimus said while standing back in place."Bulkhead, accompany Miko home." He said, while Bulkhead walked up to him."AWESOME! My host parents will freak!" Miko shouted all excited

"And maintain convert surveillance, in vehicle form." Optimus said."Curb side duty, got it." Bulkhead replied.

Miko slouched."Awww." She pouted

"Bumblebee, you'll watch over Raf." He called to Bee, who nodded. Raf smiled at him being his guardian.

"Ratchet-"   "Busy." He dismissed Optimus. "Arcee, you will accompany Jack, and melody." Prime announced. Jack rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly while girl looked at him weirdly

."Still dizzy." Arcee said, obviously not liking her new job."Your fine, says your physician." Ratchet cleverly retorted, waving an arm in the air

Arcee groaned at that,

Time skip

Arcee drove the two back, which was a surprise for both, that they live right next door to each other

" well...I guess we're neighbours" he says trying to lighten the mood "yeah..." melody says, still upset about cliff, he sighed as they entered the garage

"Guys, I just wanted to say, I'm really sorry for your loss." He said sympathetically, arcee tilted "What could you possibly know about loss?"

"What, you think you're the only one with problems?!" Jack exclaimed as arcee transformed "I'm not sure girl trouble counts." She said

"Well, I'm pretty sure my girl trouble started the night I met you guys" jack countered, they then heard a and saw a car about to pull in the garage "Cons!" Arcee got ready to fore if jack and melody hadn't stopped her " wait stop!"

"No! Mom!" Jack exclaimed, he rushed forward as the car stopped and a woman stepped out "Jack?"

"Mom!" He rushed over to her "Don't freak, I can explain!" He exclaimed "Can you?" She walked forward and to jacks surprise, arcee in vehicles form and melody was gone "Jackson Darby, we've talked about this." She said

"I know, and" Jack began and got cut off

"You don't know! I worry about you enough when you're not here, now I have to worry about you driving a motorcycle?" She says "I'm sixteen, I can't be riding a ten-speed forever!"

"How did you even afford this?" June asked "It's used! It's abused, really. Needs a ton of repairs" he sighed and walked over to the table with the helmet on it "but the point is I may have been a kid when I bought this, but I'm not anymore." He leaned against it "You always tell me to make responsible choices Well, I chose her. And I'll be responsible! I promise." He said walking over and placing a hand on arcee, with his mother next to him arms crossed

"Her? I didn't think you'll be bringing girls home just yet." His mom grinned

"I like to think she brought me." He said, referring to the actual girl he brought home, but she didn't know about melody, June sighed walking towards her son " Well, I'm glad you finally have a reason to wear your helmet" she points at him "every single time you ride." He warned "You will take me for a spin every once in a while?" She asked while he walked her to the door

"We'll see. She is kinda temperamental." She walks out and jack starts looking around melody " er...melody?"

" window" arcee says, he looks and sees melody pop up waving " hey wait!" He says before she leaves " uh...well...good night" he says " night" she smiled

He could understand what the feeling in his chest was, he went back inside, still pondering to himself, shutting off the light, and the garage doors close

Next day

Jack woke to the sound of engine revving  and ran to the garage "Shh! Are you crazy?! You'll wake up my mom!" He exclaimed

"Grab your helmet, it's go time." Arcee said in bot form

"It's saturday!" The teen boy complained "You can watch cartoons back at base with Bumblebee.

"Cartoons, I'm sixteen!" He scoffed walking back in "And leave a note for your mom! She worries!" Melody's outside waiting" she said and that's when he freaked

" she's outside waiting?!" He looked out the window and saw her waiting on her side of the fence " crud!" He rushed off

With decepticons

"I don't think you need to worry about further Autobot interference, Master. Not with Optimus gone." Starscream says "And what evidence do you posses of this fact?" Megatronasked walking next to the dark energon

"I destroyed the mines, as you instructed." Starscream informed "Optimus is not so easily destroyed.We have millenia worth of battles behind us to prove it!" Megatron turned to the energon

"May be you should take a break, my Lord. I worry that too much contact with the Dark Energon might allow it's properties to adversely affect you." His servant said "Or perhaps, Starscream, I have not permitted myself contact enough." Suddenly he reached in and grabbed a crystal "Wait! Lord Megatron! No! Not your Spark chamber! You do not know what it will do!" Starscream exclaimed as his leader stabbed himself eotj the dark energon, shaking rapidly gasping, with that purple arua

At base

"Hmm." Ratchet looked though his microscope "The base elements of this goo are like nothing I've ever encountered. Must be extremely concentrated to have affected Arcee so rapidly." He picked up some pliers and opens the the compartment that had the drop of dark energon, while removing it, he didn't notice a drop fall off "Unfortunately, complete results are slow coming without the use of proper diagnostic tools! Thank you very much, Bulkhead!"

The drop landed on the broken grabbing device that bulkhead crushed and absorbed into it, making it transform into some kind of robotic spider

Which scurried around the base
