There is a new character in this chapter that I am "playing" as. I won't give out the name since it's a surprise but you'll know. Anyways Enjoy!

----- Autobots HQ few days after morning -----

Optimus was up in the computer lab still trying to do several things at once. Arcee was in her room punching the big punching bag she had hanging up in her room since there was nothing else better to do at the moment. Bumblebee was just sitting around doing nothing in particular as he was just listening to music that was blasting from the amps nearby and Bulkhead was helping Kari out with her abilities while Ratchet worked in his lab. Bumblebee looked over to watch Bulkhead and Kari training. Kari closed her eyes, her hands out horizontally and her knees bent while her legs were shoulder width apart as a little wind swirled around her like a small twister. Bulkhead smiled and Kari gulped, shivering now.

"Ok, now calm down and try to shut it off." Bulkhead stated kindly and Kari nodded and took in deep breath, stood up straight then brought her hands down slowly to her sides as she let out a slow sigh. The wind around her stopped instantly. Bulkhead clapped happily. "Good job Kari. Now let's try another one later. You should rest up. Relax a little." Kari nodded.

"Kay..." She stated and wobbled over to Bumblebee and waved. "Hey." Bumblebee waved and smiled.

"You did really well with controlling the wind Kari. I think in no time you'll be able to control it perfectly." Bumblebee said happily.

"Thanks. I'm still shocked that I can do this... But I'll get better so I don't hurt anyone..." Kari smiled and sat down on her couch and looked up at Bumblebee with a smile. That was when Bumblebee got an idea.

"Hey Kari you like video games right?" Bumblebee asked Kari, looking down at her. Kari blinked and nodded.

"Yeh, Kaiser and I played them when we lived at the orphanage. We would sneak in when it was late at night so none of the bullies would bother us. Sometimes when everyone was outside we would be inside playing video games to avoid them." Kari let out a giggle. Bumblebee chuckled at the fond memory Kari had of her and her friend.

"If you'd like we can play video games together and just hang out, and maybe later if you want we can go for a little joy ride." Bumblebee said, happy about being able to hang out with Kari. Kari nodded happily and smiled.

"I'd like that." Kari smiled at Bumblebee happily and went to get a game. "Uh, what game?" She asked.

"How about Mario Party 5?" Bumblebee asked looking at Kari. The girl nodded and got the game set up and then sat on Bumblebee's shoulder while she played. Bumblebee happily picked to play as Yoshi as his character and Kari picked to play as Daisy. Eventually Bumblebee won against Kari just barely and Kari giggled.

"Looks like you're better." She stated nervously while rubbing the back of her head and giving a nervous smile with a matching giggle. Bumblebee held his hand up to Kari with a big smile.

"You did really good too, I thought I was gonna lose there for a second. There's always next time." Bumblebee said kindly to Kari. Kari nodded and then put the controller up, she kinda wanted to go on that joy ride now.

"Can we do that joy ride? I kinda wanna look at the instrument store near the school. I hear that there is someone who will give a person free lessons if he sees he or she has potential." Kari smiled. Bumblebee nodded his head.

"Sure we can, but you gotta promise me that you'll only go into the instrument store and come back so I know you're okay since I can't go in with you. Optimus and the others will flip if I lost you or something bad happened." Bumblebee said setting some rules for Kari before they head out. Kari nodded and rolled her eyes.

"Ok, I promise. Now let's go. I wanna see this guy. I hope I get those free lessons, I could totally use them!" Kari called and smiled like a dork. Arcee was walking out of her room as she heard Bumblebee and Kari talking, but didn't say anything about it since she knew that Kari would be in safe hands. Kari grabbed her guitar and then trotted up to Bumblebee as he opened the exit then transformed into vehicle form so Kari could get in and they could set out. Kari put her guitar in the back seat then sat in the passenger's side and buckled up.

Soon the two were in front of the instrument store that Kari was talking about. Kari grabbed her guitar and walked in after waveing at Bumblebee. Bumblebee sat outside on the street parked as he waited for Kari while she was inside the instrument shop.

"Hello, take a look around." A man with brown hair and green eyes said behind the counter. Kari looked at him and gulped.

"Uh, I'd like to try out for those free lessons..." Kari muttered and the man sighed and pointed to a sign that said "taken" on it. Kari looked down. "Oh, I'm too late..."

"Yup, sorry kid." The man said but then the front door dinged as it opened. It was a man that looked in his early twenties with black hair and dark brown eyes with tan skin and glasses. He wore a plaid shirt and jeans with dark gray shoes. "Hey, Nate how are you?" The man asked and Nate smiled.

"I'm good. I need another cord. I broke my backup during practice earlier." Nate smiled and bought a guitar string then looked at Kari, who had her hood up. "Hey, you ok? You seem kinda down." He asked and Kari looked at him.

"I came to try out for free lessons cuz I don't have any money for actual lessons and I was too late." Kari frowned. Nate hummed.

"Well, let me see what you can do." He smiled and Kari looked at him and nodded. Kari made it so she was holding the guitar correctly and pressed on the strings, strumming a smooth melody for a few moments until a bad note came up as one of her cords snapped.

"Aw man! I thought I found a good one!" Kari huffed and Nate blinked.

"Found?"

"Yeah, I found this guitar in the dump as well as some back up cords. I just found this one yesterday." Kari seemed upset and Nate blinked as he turned to the desk.

"Can I see your recommended beginner guitar selection please?" He asked and the man behind the counter nodded, understanding what was going on then brought out a few guitars. Nate then tapped Kari's shoulder and gestured her to come to the counter. "Pick one."

"... What?"

"Pick one. You have talent and I want you to get better. I'll help you if you'd like. I'm Nate. You are?"

"Kari... Thank you but I couldn't take such an expensive gift."

"Come on, I'm paying. Just pick one, please." Kari blinked and sighed as she pointed to a mainly blue electric guitar with a few golden features. Nate smiled and also bought some back up cords for her, a case and some small speakers for travel. He even threw in free lessons for her as long as she could attend.

"Th-thank you s-so much." Kari gulped as she and Nate left the store.

"No problem. Here, we'll have our lessons at this location." Nate took out a napkin that was in his pocket and wrote on it with a pen he had. He gave it to Kari and smiled. She blinked and nodded.

"Kay. Thanks again." The two then parted ways and Kari squeaked happily and ran up to Bumblebee and laughed happily with a wide smile. "The BEST thing just happened, Bee! You will not believe it!!" Kari called as Bumblebee began to drive she explained what happened in the shop with glee and a smile plastered on her face, her symbols glowing a dim silver. "It was so cool and nice of him!" Kari called out as she looked back at her new guitar as well as her old one, she would make use of the old one somehow. Bumblebee chuckled a bit at how adorable Kari was acting since she was so happy about the recent event. Bumblebee was driving around the city looking like any other car on the road.

"Hey Kari, anywhere you wanna drive around to see or something?" Bumblebee asked Kari while he was driving himself around. Kari blinked.

"How about we go back to the edge of the city where not many people are? I kinda wanna try out my new guitar outside." Kari smiled as her symbols began to stop glowing.

"Sure we can, I'd love to be the first one to hear you play your new guitar." Bumblebee said happily as he sped up a bit to go in the direction of the edge of the city like Kari asked. Finally after only fifteen minutes of driving, Bumblebee and Kari arrived at the edge of the city and Bumblebee parked himself.

"We're here Kari." Bumblebee said informing Kari that they've arrived.

Kari got out and set up happily, making sure everything was all good. She gulped and looked at Bumblebee then smiled and began to play "Mangled" by a youtuber with the username "natewantstobattle" which was a different Nate than the one she just met. She sang along and played the guitar pretty well, making a few mistakes here and there since she was still learning and the original song was played on bass guitar rather than electric.

"Well, how was that?" Kari asked once she was done, her symbols glowing a bright silver now as her happiness grew. Bumblebee clapped his hands when Kari finished playing the song on the guitar.

"You play like a ---" Bumblebee started to say until a loud crash sounded close to them.

"So this is the human girl I've been told so much about." The voice came from Megatron, who was standing close by. Bumblebee scooped up Kari and kept her close to him as he pointed his gun arm at Megatron. Kari shivered as she stared at Megatron. She could not help but feel a little frightened.

"Who-who's that Bee?" Kari gulped as her symbols began to glow a dark purple color. Bumblebee was going to answer Kari until Megatron butted in first.

"I am Megatron, leader of the decepticons. I've heard quite a few stories about you child, you're a lot younger than I thought for a powerful human." Megatron said staying where he was.

"State your business here Megatron, if you're here for Kari I'm not handing her over." Bumblebee threatened Megatron as he kept his gun up at the decepticon leader, planning on protecting Kari no matter what. Kari shivered and let out a whine as a strange dark aura surrounded her.

"No... Scrap... Stop... Calm down, calm..." Kari gulped, beginning to feel her powers bubbling up. Bumblebee looked over to Kari and his eyes widened while Megatron watched in interest to see what happened next.

"Kari please calm down, Megatron will hurt you or even worst kill you. Let me handle this." Bumblebee said in a slightly concerned voice knowing that if she lost control she would pass out afterwards. Kari gulped and held her head with a growl.

"I'm trying... But... It... It's too much... I-I can't... I'm sorry..." Kari gulped and she lost control with a yell as she sensed danger. Kari vanished and reappeared behind Megatron and held out her left hand, her palm towards him and her right hand holding her left arm. A dark ball appeared in the center of her palm and she growled. "Dark beam..." She said emotionlessly. The ball then shot out like a beam and hit Megatron's back. She then landed on the ground with a huff. Bumblebee's eyes widened at how Kari blasted Megatron over so easily. Megatron fell forward from the blast then he pushed himself up slowly, trying to recover from the hit.

"I don't think you'd want to try and kill me just yet Kari. Especially if you have your heart set on finding a certain someone you care about very much." Megatron said looking over to Kari. The child froze with a small gasp.

"Don't listen to him Kari!" Bumblebee shouted to Kari as he kept his gun pointed at Megatron's head. "Damn it, this could be bad. I need to get Kari out of here and back to headquarters or Optimus and the others will yell at me for having her out this long, I just wanted to be able to hang out with her." Bumblebee thought to himself, starting to worry. Kari frowned and her scarf ends began to glow as she stomped on the ground, causing a pillar of earth to wrap around Megatron to keep him on the ground. She approached his face and her scarf ends were now in the forms of blades.

Kari gave Megatron a cold stare that resembled his own as she pointed both blade form scarf ends at him.

"Where is she?" She asked with an emotionless growl, again resembling Megatron in a way. Megatron chuckled.

"You won't find out by killing me. Besides Kaiser is perfectly safe in her little containment area." Megatron said looking at the girl as Bumblebee wanted to just grab Kari and run, but he didn't want to face her rage and her be mad at him.

"... I'll be the judge of that... Now, where is she. Tell me or I'll melt you." Kari began gritting her teeth as steam and smoke began to rise off of her body. Megatron glared at Kari as he swatted her away a bit.

"You human girl, you're not to order me around. Besides threaten me and I'll send a signal to kill her now and there will be no more Kaiser." Megatron threatened.

"... Fine... But, I'll take your finger as payment for what you just did." Kari huffed then went to the hand that just slapped her with a merciless glare and grabbed the index finger with her right hand and with one tug it came clean off of Megatron's hand, energon splatting on her as if it were blood, except it was blue and shiny. Megatron blasted the pillar of earth that was holding him down and then got up as he looked at his now missing finger.  

"Next time it won't be your finger. I'm not scared of you. I will ask once again." Kari's scarf ends then changed into wings and she flew up to be face to face with Megatron. "Where. Is. Kaiser?" Megatron turned into his vehicle mode.

"All you need to know for now is that your friend is fine because I don't plan on killing her anytime soon." Megatron said as a vehicle.

"... Yo, you forgot your finger." Kari huffed and warped Megatron's finger back to him. "Cuz I sure don't want it."  Kari sighed then began to pulse and her wings changed back to their original form and she began to plummet back to earth, out cold. Megatron got away, going back to where ever he was going to. Bumblebee quickly ran and jumped, catching Kari in his hands safely as his metal feet hit the ground again.

"Kari, why do you never listen...? You could have gotten really hurt, and-and I would have been sad that my friend got hurt because I couldn't protect you." Bumblebee said lightly talking to himself since Kari was out cold in his hands. Bumblebee then turned back into his vehicle form with Kari's things in the front and Kari sleeping in the back seat safely as he quickly started to drive back to headquarters.

When they got home Bumblebee transformed into his robot mode and held Kari after putting her things in a good spot. Bulkhead saw Kari and immediately gasped in shock.

"What happened?!" He called, seeing the energon all over her. "Is she ok?!" Bumblebee looked over to Bulkhead.

"We were at the city edge since Kari wanted to go there and play her new guitar she was given there. When she finished Megatron showed up.... Kari was glowing and s-she started to use her abilities, but this time it was d-dark. And-and she tore one of his fingers off completely. Megatron then left soon after and I caught Kari after she passed out and here we are now." Bumblebee explained everything to Bulkhead. That was when Optimus and Arcee came into the room and saw Kari asleep and all covered in energon.

"Bumblebee, what happened?" Optimus asked as he looked at Bumblebee so Bumblebee started to explain the whole thing to both Optimus and Arcee like he told Bulkhead what happened. After explaining the whole situation Optimus nodded his head in understanding.

"The only good thing is that Megatron didn't get his hands on her, we should let her rest up and when she wakes up she can eat and clean herself off." Optimus said having even more questions than before as he once again headed for the computer room. Arcee looked at Bumblebee as she went off to her room.

"... So... Hot..." Kari muttered in her sleep. "... Hhoooot..." Kari muttered again and Bumblebee looked down at Kari confused as he gently set her down on the couch only placing the blanket only half on her body. "... Too... Tall... Can't... Stop... Falling..." Kari yawned and covered herself with the blanked completely. Bumblebee sat on the big couch so he could keep an eye on Kari, Bulkhead nearby as well. Eventually Kari woke up and whined, apologizing sadly since she remembered what she had done. She was crying and sniffling while she washed up and ate.

"I'm-- S-soooooo s-sorry B-Bee... I-I d-don't know what h-happened. I-I just felt s-so scared a-and in d-danger." Kari sniffled after her shower as she ate, tears streaming down her face. Bumblebee sighed as he gently patted Kari's head.

"It's alright, but please rely on me and the others more to protect you. We all would be sad if something bad was to happen to you. Alright Kari?" Bumblebee said giving a gentle smile down to her as he wiped the tears from her face away, gently with the tip of a finger.

"I don't think I would..." Ratchet huffed in a low tone so only he could hear. Kari nodded and sniffled.

"I'll try." She smiled and nodded. "But is still feel so bad!" Kari then frowned and hugged Bumblebee's arm as she kept apologizing to him, since she was done eating.

"Hey come on stop apologizing I'm not mad at you." Bumblebee said looking at Kari.

"I'm sorry." Kari frowned with an upset tone, not looking up at the bot. Bumblebee shook his head, patting her head once again.

"Really stop beating yourself up." Bumblebee said.

"I'm sorry." Kari repeated as if it was the only thing she was able to say. In the near distance they could hear Arcee shouting.

"We get it, now will you stop apologizing already kid! If you mean it you won't make the same mistake twice!" Arcee shouted getting tired of hearing Kari apologize and crying so much.

"I'm sorry." Kari called sadly, still stuck on apologizing since she was having a moment. Bumblebee stopped trying to get Kari to stop apologizing, but he and everyone else knew that she was really sorry. Eventually Kari stopped apologizing and fell asleep on Bumblebee's shoulder from crying so much from what she had done, Bulkhead watching over her with Bumblebee and Arcee.

----- Deception ship -----

Starscream was going to check on Kaiser as usual when he remembered Megatron had gone out. He thought Kaiser could get out of her cage for a while since she had only been out one other time and he kinda wanted to see what her reaction would be like. He knew Kaiser wouldn't try anything because of his threats and he would keep them too if he had to.

"Kaiser, Lord Megatron is not here so I thought I'd let you out for a while, well I'll be watching you of course." He said as he saw the cage with the girl in it. Kaiser looked over knowing it was Starscream since he was just about the only one who'd come by every single day.

"Ohh goodie, finally letting the birdie out of the cage so she can stretch her wings for a bit." Kaiser said sarcastically.

"Only for a while as long as that "birdie" behaves herself. If she is bad then I shove her back in the cage never to come out again." Starscream huffed and grabbed Kaiser and put her on his shoulder. "There. You stay on my shoulder or else." He huffed and walked out. Kaiser sat on his shoulder as told and she looked around actually being able to see a different scenery than what she had to look at all the time. Starscream looked at her as he went on about his daily duties, showing her a few cool things at times. Well, what he thought she would think were cool anyways. Kaiser looked at the cool things Starscream was showing her as she had a faint smile on her lips, but it didn't last since while Starscream was walking around, a lot of the grunts were giving her weird looks as she put up her hoodie not wanting to see their gazes as it already felt like their gazes were burning into her skin. It was just like all those times the other kids would glare at her while she had carried Snowflake, her stuffed snow leopard, around the orphanage with her. Starscream then put Kaiser back in her cage since Megatron was about to arrive. "I'll be back later." He huffed and went to speak with Megatron. Kaiser watched as Starscream once again left her all alone in the cage.

"Lord Megatron welcome back, did you find what you went out look-- what happened to your finger?!" Starscream called in shock.

"You were right about that child Starscream, but it looks like she is slowly coming to be able to control it. The brat ripped it off is what happened. Just seeing what she is capable of I can only image what Kaiser can do." Megatron said as mini robots started to replace and fix the missing finger.

"I too am curious about Kaiser's capabilities..." Starscream stated and began to go deep into thought.

"Starscream I want you to take her to Knockout so he can run a few test, I don't care what it takes I want a full analysis on the human in custody." Megatron ordered strictly.

"Yes lord Megatron." Starscream bowed and left the room and took Kaiser to Knockout. Once there Knockout looked at Kaiser.

"So, you want me to run a full diagnosis." He summed up and Starscream nodded.

"Lord Megatron's orders." Starscream said, handing Kaiser over. Knockout got to work on Kaiser, making sure to be thorough. Kaiser was getting a bit nervous about what was going to happen. Kaiser hated anything that was related to doctors like needles and small scanners for cat scans. Knockout was nearly done when he looked at a monitor in shock as it began to get all static-y.

"What's this now? This is brand new, it can't be acting up." Knockout tapped it in confused. Kaiser looked over as the ominous black mist was around her neck but it looked light.

"Wh-what's wrong?" Kaiser asked, confused as to what was going on. Knockout looked at her and blinked at the mist then back to the monitor that was now showing a picture of a stuffed animal in the shape of a snow leopard.

"Starscream, you might want to get lord Megatron to see this." Knockout said and Starscream nodded then left, getting Megatron and bringing him back. "Ah, lord Megatron. I have some news." Knockout said and gestured to the static picture and Kaiser. Megatron walked over to Knockout to see what he was talking about.

"What is it?" Megatron asked not wanting his time to be wasted. Kaiser just watched as the three robots looked at the static on the monitor.

"I believe we found what she can do. She is manipulating the monitor somehow to make this picture, like an illusion I believe." Knockout stated with a shrug. Megatron walked over to Kaiser and moved to be eye level with her.

"What is that thing?" Megatron asked in a loud voice pointing to the screen. Kaiser moved back a bit from the loudness.

"It looks to be some sort of stuffed animal sir." Knockout blinked as he replied.

"Th-that's a sn-snow leopard... I-it looks like the one I owned before the orphanage was destroyed s-sir." Kaiser got out shivering a bit still scared of Megatron. Knockout blinked as well as Starscream. Megatron moved away from the human and looked at the two.

"When you're done put her back in the cage or somehow figure out how to get her to use her abilities more. I have no room for mistakes." Megatron said as he left the room to go back to his planning.

"Knockout, I have something to do. Put her back in her cage when you are done and watch her until I get back." Starscream left and Knockout nodded and continued his tests. Starscream flew to where the orphanage since he remembered stepping on it back when he was fighting Bulkhead. He sifted through the rubble and found a stuffed toy that looked like Kaiser's image. He then went back to the ship and went to Kaiser's cage and gave it to her. "Here." He said and tossed the toy to her lightly. Kaiser caught it and looked at the intact snow leopard and hugged it close to her and then looked to Starscream and went over to the door of the cage.

"Thank you for returning Snowflake to me Starscream." Kaiser smiled up to him and the black mist appeared, but was very light.

"Whatever. Just behave yourself." Starscream huffed and crossed his arms. "So, it's name is Snowflake, why?" He asked. Kaiser lightly laughed a bit as she held it out forward a bit kinda like a little kid showing his or her new toy to someone.

"Because she's a snow leopard and she's soft like the snowflakes that fall in the winter time." Kaiser said explaining the reasoning behind her stuffed animal's name. Starscream nodded as he listened.

"That seems reasonable. Well, I have work to do. I'll be back later with your food." Starscream then left.

"You're actually a lot nicer than you lead on to be! And thanks again!" Kaiser called out as she watched him walk away.

"... Whatever." Starscream huffed, now out of sight.
