----- A few week before Halloween. Autobots HQ. Girls all healed up. Afternoon -----

Bulkhead watched as Kari ran around the main room, squealing at the top of her lungs.

"AAAH!!! I'M GONNA MEET NATE'S GROUP!!! AW MAN DO I LOOK OK? WHAT SHOULD I SAY FIRST? WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS MY HAIR OK?!!" Kari sounded excited and panicked at the same time. Eventually Kari tripped on her scarf and fell on her face and Bulkhead jolted and helped her up.

"You'll be fine Kari. Just stay calm." Bulkhead smiled as he helped her back on her feet then looked to Arcee for assistance. Arcee shook her head as she helped Kari up as well.

"You know it's not always about looks Kari, just be you... But don't be too hyper ok?" Arcee said with a smile.

"But what if they don't like me?" Kari gulped and Bulkhead laughed.

"Don't like you?! Hah! Kari, they'll love you!" He called with a huge smile. "You are just---" Kari blinked and narrowed her eyes, puffing out her cheeks.

"Tread lightly..."

"--so likeable." Bulkhead chuckled nervously and Kari smiled.

"Kay, as long as you don't say cute or adorable.. Cuz I'm not... I'm smooth." Bulkhead snickered with Arcee at Kari's choice of words. "What?! I'm cool! Sh-shut up or I'll smack you!" (A/N Kat: The line that stuck to Kari. "Shut up or I'll _____ you!" Lol! Lizzy: Kari is forever adorable. X3) Kari called with a small grumble. Bumblebee chuckled a bit.

"You'll be perfectly fine Kari, you're a super likeable person." Bumblebee said with a smile. Optimus smiled and nodded his head in agreement. Kari sighed with a small embarrassed blush and then went to her room to grab her things, she decided to put her hoodie and goggles on but left off her cap, head band and gloves on the bed and her shoes on the floor by her bed. Her feet were wrapped up in bandages but in a certain way so her symbols were showing. She then walked out while adjusting her goggles with a sigh. Her cheeks puffed out lightly while Chase, in toy form, gripped onto one of her scarf ends whining. Kari rolled her eyes with a chuckle and picked Chase up and nuzzled his forehead then sat the dragon down and looked up at Optimus.

"Ready to go." She called out with an adorable smirk. Optimus nodded as he turned into a truck and waited for Kari to get in.

"Ready to roll?" Optimus asked Kari as the door opened for her to get in.

"Lets roll out!" Kari giggled. "I've been waiting for the perfect moment to say that!" Kari called and got in and buckled up. Optimus chuckled as he drove off to the address that they were to meet Nate and his group. Kari gulped and kept talking in a shaky tone, nervous the whole drive. They soon arrived at the meeting spot and Kari got out. Everyone was much older than her and definitely taller. One of the girls there saw Kari and rushed up and grabbed her.

"You must be Kari!" She called and Kari tensed up at this. "Nate has told me all about you. You are so cute. You're hair is adorable and your eyes are just amazing!" The tan woman smiled at Kari. The younger girl was frozen stiff with a "What the heck just happened?!" look on her face. The woman had long dark brown hair, shimmering brown eyes and wore black flat tops, a pink t shirt and skinny jeans. Nate walked up with a chuckle.

"That's Rebecca." He said.

"Hey, I can talk for myself." Rebecca frowned and Nate pointed to Kari's expression. "Oh, I'm sorry did I scare you? I'm so sorry I didn't mean it." Kari did not reply. "Is she breathing? Hellooooo?" Rebecca waved her hand in Kari's face, up and down. Kari turned around with stiff legs and opened the door to Optimus and shut it again.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" She yelped, no one but Optimus hearing her. Nate chuckled from outside the door.

"She's a bit timid at first, guys." Nate informed with a nervous chuckle.

"So that's why we're meeting earlier than last year..." Asked a blond girl with brown eyes. Nate nodded with a smile while Rebecca looked at him with a concerned look.

"Is she gonna come out of her truck?" She asked, a little upset. Nate nodded.

"Oh yeah. She'll come out. Or her dad will make her one way or another." Nate shrugged and Rebecca sighed. Kari was shivering and hugging herself in the fetal position with wide eyes and chattering teeth.

"Th-that was s-sooo sudden..." She gulped. Optimus sighed as he listened to Kari.

"It's alright, you're just not used to it. You've only had a very few selective people who were allowed close to you." Optimus said hopefully trying to help her not be so nervous. Kari whined and sat up slowly.

"Y-yeh.." She replied. "T-true... But it was so sudden! I don't think I've been hugged by anyone other than---" Kari blinked and stopped her sentence and looked down with a sigh. She frowned and remembered a few things she did not even know had happened between herself and Kaiser until now.

"What's wrong Kari, you didn't finish your sentence." Optimus asked concerned.

"... I... In the past I only ever let Kaiser hug me like that... Now... I'm remembering things I've said to her back at the decepticon ship that I shouldn't have said... Things that hurt her and I didn't mean to say..." Kari's voice was low and sad as she stared at her feet with narrowed eyes. Optimus sighed at hearing Kari feeling this way.

"Even though you've said some mean things to her, she still helped us get you back, and maybe one day you'll be able to apologize if you really wanted to Kari." Optimus said trying to make her feel better.

"... I guess..." Kari replied then let out a deep sigh. "I'll... Try to get along here. Kay?" Kari gave a small smile and exited Optimus and took a few steps forward. Everyone looked at her as she waved. "H-Hi..." She called and everyone smiled and welcomed her.

"Hi, you already know me. I'm Rebecca. This is my husband." Rebecca pulled up a man that had peach skin, light brown hair and blue eyes. He wore a light gray t-shirt and jeans that were slightly worn out but not very worn out and a pair of black sneakers. He smiled and waved.

"Hi, I'm Daniel." He said with a smile. A main with brown skin and dreadlocks came up. He wore a stripped shirt, tan khakis and gray shoes and his hair was pulled up into a loose ponytail. He smiled and waved.

"Hey, I'm Julian, nice to meet you." He greeted happily then a woman with blond hair and brown eyes came up. She wore sandals and snug fitting jeans with a black sweater buttoned slightly up until the top, which was unbuttoned to reveal a blue v neck shirt.

"Hi, My name's Jessica. I've been wondering when we'd meet you, Kari." Jessica chuckled and smiled, gesturing for a brunette with dazzling blue eyes to walk up. She wore a black and white long sleeve shirt with black leggings and dark brown boots.

"Sup, I'm Sarah. It's nice to finally meet Kari. We've heard so much about you and I've been dying to meet you." Sarah greeted with a kind smile. Kari blinked and looked over her shoulder at Optimus with worried eyes before being tugged by Rebecca to practice.

"Come on Kari. Lets go. You're gonna love this, I swear you are!" Rebecca called out happily with a giggle and Kari gulped.

"I can tell this is gonna be a loooong practice..." Kari thought as a small smile slowly formed on her lips. "I guess I'll live..." Once practice ended everyone but Nate and Kari left. Nate walked with Kari up to Optimus.

"You sure you're ok? That was a big wound."

"I'm fine."

"You sure."

"Dude, Nate, chill! I'm alive and walking" Kari pretended to cough up blood, making ketchup spew from her mouth using her abilities. She made it worse by hunching over. Nate about had a heart attack as he went to help her. Kari began to have a laughing fit and Nate frowned but sighed in relief and joined her in laughing.

"Alright you got me. But don't do that again, I almost had a heart attack. Come on." Nate chuckled and saw Kari off. "Hey, same place same time Kay?" Nate informed and Kari nodded with a smile. Optimus opened a door for Kari to get in with her stuff. Nate told Optimus what he told Kari about the time and place while Kari buckled up.

"Alright, I will make sure she is here on time. Be safe Nate." Optimus said letting Nate know that they'll be there.

"You too Optimus." Nate replied then walked home. Kari hummed a tune to herself, a little happy. Optimus chuckled at Kari's good mood as he drove them back home to the others. Kari blinked as she heard him chuckle.

"What?" She asked innocently.

"You seem to be in a better mood, you enjoy yourself?" Optimus asked as he drove himself. Kari blinked and shifted her gaze away.

"Maaaaaaaayybeeee..." She hummed, trying to be subtle about it. Optimus chuckled a bit more.

"I'm glad you were able to make a few more friends Kari." Optimus said sounding like he was smiling.

"Even if those friends are adults?" Kari blinked with a sigh.

"Yes, when it comes to friends age is just a number." Optimus said.

"Alright." Kari giggled lightly as the two went home

----- Decepticon's ship -----

Kaiser's wounds have fully healed as she went back in the lab since Megatron's orders were that she was to go back to working on fixing the grunts and what not even if she was wounded and just finished healing. Snowflake was swaying her tail back and forth in her robot form as she watched Kaiser was inside fixing one of the bigger grunts while Within Temptation's song "Memories" was playing from the portable music player as she hummed along as she was focused on her work.

"All of my memories keep you near." Kaiser sang lightly still working. Starscream walked in and greeted Kaiser.

"Hey, how's work?" He asked kindly. Kaiser poked her head out of the grunt's chest covered in a little oil and smiled.

"Busy as usual, but nothing I can complain about. How about you, I thought Megatron had a shit ton of crap for you to do?" Kaiser asked wiping the oil off her face with her hand getting some off, but also smudged some of it on her face.

"meeroww." Snowflake greeted Starscream as he came in to see Kaiser like he normally does on a regular basis. Starscream nodded to Snowflake and rubbed her head then sighed.

"He does. But I found a moment to quickly check on you and see if you were ok." He smiled at her, handing her a rag. Kaiser took the rag with a smile as she cleaned the rest of the oil off her face and placed it down since she'll need again when she's all finished. Snowflake watched Starscream and Kaiser talking to one another.

"Aww aren't you just da sweetest Starscream, you really do care don't cha?" Kaiser said with a light laughter being funny as the thought of him making time to check up and see her made her smile. Starscream blinked and looked away slightly, feeling his face get warm.

"Well I should get going now... I don't have much time ya know." He said turning to leave. "I'll be back when I have a moment." He stated then left. Kaiser stopped her small laughter as she watched him leave all of a sudden. Kaiser looked over to Snowflake and then shrugged her shoulders as she went back in so she could finish the job and work on the next one.

"I wonder... if what I said bothered him, I know he has a lot of work but still he never leaves that quick when coming to visit me... Oh Kaiser don't distract yourself." Kaiser said talking to herself as she went back to work fixing the grunt until the oil containment container bursted and covered Kaiser in oil from head to toe.

"This sucks scrap." Kaiser said as she grabbed the rag and wiped her face off as best as she could so she could see before carefully getting out of the grunt. Snowflake made a noise that sounded like snickering as she saw Kaiser completely covered in oil. Kaiser shouted out to Knockout.

"Knockout the grunt's chest cavity needs to be clean out!" Kaiser shouted now on the ground as her skin was an shiny black color from the oil.

"On my way Kaiser!" Knockout grunted as he walked in, carrying a few parts for them to use. When he sat the stuff down and looked at her he snickered and then went into a laughing fit. Kaiser looked up him unamused that he's laughing as she started to walk with Snowflake following her.

"I'm going to go shower to get this off me before I start smelling like it." Kaiser said as she left the lab to go grab some fresh clothes and towel then go to shower in her special little area. Kaiser was washing off as the dirty oily clothes were on the floor. Knockout chuckled and began to work on his work after she left.

After awhile of scrubbing her skin and her hair, Kaiser was finally clean once again as she put on a pair of black jean shorts and a black tank top since she still had work to do in the lab and put her boots back on as she dumped the ruined clothes in the dump as she walked back to the lab drying her hair with the towel as she passed by Starscream which she didn't exactly notice. Starscream glanced down at Kaiser and chuckled, smiling at her but kept doing his work.

----- Autobot HQ, same day, evening -----

Bulkhead, Arcee Bumblebee and Kari were all watching TV in the main room when Optimus walked in with another mission. Optimus looked at the group before him.

"Autobots a small amount of energon has been located. We need to get it before the decepticons do." Optimus said as Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee got up.

"May I stay here?" Kari asked while raising her right arm up high after a moment. Bulkhead looked at Kari, confused. Optimus looked at Kari surprised that for once she wanted to stay behind.

"I-if that's what you'd like to do that is fine since it's a small mission you may sit this one out. We shouldn't be gone long Kari. And no sneaking out." Optimus said as he looked at her to watch her actions. Kari nodded and stretched her arms up with a small cat like moan.

"Kay... I'm probably gonna turn in early... I dunno why but--" Kari let out a yawn. "But I'm tired..." Ratchet blinked at Kari then shrugged and looked at Optimus.

"She has seemed a bit more sluggish than usual today." He said, slightly concerned. Optimus nodded his head as he had noticed the same thing.

"You stay and rest Kari, I would rather know you're safe and resting rather than out in the field and then pass out. We can handle this mission." Optimus said gently patting her head with a smile.

"Kay... Good luck guys. Be safe." Kari called then waved everyone goodbye.

"Bye Kari, have a good sleep." Bulkhead called happily while Ratchet started the ground bridge.

"Don't wreck the place while we're gone." The medic joked with a chuckle. Optimus headed to the ground bridge as Arcee followed behind him. Bumblebee looked to Kari before following as well so they could head out and then come back to Kari, Bumblebee didn't want Kari to be alone for too long.

"Aaaaannndddd... They're gone. Let's go Chase, we've got a mission of our own!" Kari called out, not really that tired at all while Chase roared happily, in his robot form. The two began to wrap five gifts resembling the color scheme of the autobot who would receive it. Kari and Chase then began to paint a banner, getting paint on themselves and the floor. They then hung the banner after it had dried, the banner saying in his bold letters "Thanks for putting up with my stunts and stuff" in big bold letters. They then hung streamers from the support beams and threw confetti in small groups on the floor to resemble fire works. When Kari and Chase were done with all that Kari staggered to get the five gifts but passed out while holding them on the couch, Chase close by. Paint covered Kari's face and clothes and she left some foot prints here any there while Chase had his tail drenched in paint and a few smudges on his face.

The ground bridge started up as Optimus and the others came back from a successful mission against the decepticons. Each of the autobots were changing back into their robot forms as the tunnel closed behind them. Bumblebee looked around from where he was standing to see if Kari was somewhere in the room wondering how Kari was doing by herself while they were out.

"Bee don't be a worry wart, Kari is fine. Probably napping with Chase." Arcee said as she walked past him to head for the main room. Optimus was ahead of everyone and saw paint on the floor and a banner that was hanging up as it said "Thanks for putting up with my stunts and stuff" as he let out a sigh. Arcee, Bulkhead, Ratchet and Bumblebee saw the paint and the banner that was hung up in their main room and the presents that were painted each of their colors in her arms as she slept. Bulkhead blinked and looked around, taking everything in slowly.

"Did Kari do all this?" Bulkhead muttered. "Why?" He hummed. Optimus sighed again as he walked over and knelt down next to Kari quietly, making sure not to wake her up.

"You did read the banner right Bulkhead?" Optimus said as he took the presents from the sleeping Kari.

"Yeah. But I mean, she could've just told us rather than do this whole thing." Bulkhead sighed.

"That's true, but I guess she really wanted to show us how much it means to her. Right?" Bumblebee said looking at the group.

"True, but what are the presents wrapped up for?" Arcee said as she leaned in to get a closer look at the blue and pink one.

"Well, I guess we'll find out..." Ratchet shrugged. "I think this one's mine." He took the red and white one and looked to Optimus then down to the gift and tilted his head curiously. Optimus held the blue and red gift, Bulkhead stared at the mainly green one as Bumblebee inspected the black and yellow present that was from Kari.

"Well lets open them! Kari would be sad if we didn't!" Bumblebee said as he started to open his first as he saw a mini handmade version of himself with a letter in its hand and when he opened the letter it was Kari's hand writing as he read:

"Bumblebee, thanks so much for hanging out with me while I was here. The support was amazing when I trained with my abilities. I'm sorry I made you worry so much when I went... All bad and stuff, it's all hazy still but I'll do my best not to worry you, or the other's anymore." After he finished reading the letter he gave a light smile from how thoughtful Kari was being.

Next was Arcee to opened her gift next. Arcee unwrapped the blue and pink wrapping to reveal a mini hand stitched mini version of herself as well as her's held a letter as well. Opening up the letter to see Kari's hand writing as well as she read:

"Hey Cee! I just wanted to say thanks for being my big sister and helping me get better with my abilities. You were so cool and calm when I found out I'm half human... For the most part. Thanks for that, I didn't need you to panic/freak out like I was. I'm glad I got to know you a lot! Thanks sis!"

Bulkhead was next and he smiled upon seeing a small handmade version of himself, holding a letter. He opened it and began reading what it said:

"Bulkhead, Bulk... Meh, Bulky! I just wanted to thank you for helping me when I was healing. You were always there to make me laugh, even if it hurt a little it still made my day. You were always willing to put up with a lot and were always patient with me. You are the best big, literally, brother ever!" Bulkhead chuckled lightly when he finished. Ratchet was nest and he, like everyone else, saw a small handmade version of himself with a letter. He opened the letter and it read:

"Hey gramps, Ratchet, thanks sooooo much for teaching me about cybertronian tech, and for patching me up after a fight. Though you might have been grumpy at first, I'm glad we met and got a long. Thanks so much for teaching me about cybertron as well." Ratchet blinked then went into the otherroom with a sniffle as he held the little plush of himself close. Finally Optimus was the final one to open up his. Optimus opened his gift to see a cute handmade mini version of himself and a letter as it said:

"Optimus... Oh boy where do I start? Lets see, how about when I first came to HQ? Yeah that seems good. I know at first I was a hand full and all but I was a little scared and tried to make the best of it. When I found out about my abilities you helped calm me down and helped me understand. When I was in trouble I knew you'd most likely come, no matter what, I doubt that'll ever change! Haha! When I found out I was half human you stayed calm and offered to help me, I didn't take your offer at first because I wanted to try and do things on my own for a change since I've been babied by both you and Kaiser. But eventually I blew up at you because of how confused I was, thinking if I helped others that it's take my mind off of the confusion, even though it didn't help much. I'm really sorry about that. When I went bad I literally felt how upset you were and it hurt. When I stabbed myself, that was fun! ... Never gonna do it again unless ABSOLUTELY necessary! I knew you'd check on me and make sure I was ok. Sometimes I'd pretend to be asleep just to see if you really did come, which you did. When you brought Nate over I was just SO happy and I couldn't say thank you enough. I'm proud to be an autobot, thank you SOOOO MUCH for letting me be here!" Optimus smiled after he finished reading the long heartfelt letter Kari wrote for him.

"We'll have to do something nice for Kari that she'll really like." Arcee said as she held her plush and she looked to the other members with a smile. Bumblebee nodded his head happily agreeing with Arcee's idea. Optimus looked to the others nodding his head.

"Indeed we should, one day we'll take a road trip somewhere so we can all show how much we appreciate Kari being here with us." Optimus said as the autobots quietly cheered not wanting to wake up the sleeping Kari. Kari moaned and tossed onto her right side tiredly.

"Nooo... Stop it... That's not funny... I'm not... Stoooopp.. I'm not, haha, ticklish!" Kari began laughing lightly. "Nooooo, I said stoooooooppp eeeht, Kaiser, stooooohhhp eeet... " Kari giggled and then bolted her eyes open and sat up quickly. "Ahh!" Kari yelped and saw the autobots then blinked, seeing they had opened her gifts. She blushed and slightly looked away in embarrassment, scratching the back of her head, smearing the paint that was in it. Optimus breathed after realizing it wasn't it a bad dream Kari was having.

"I see you slept well Kari are you feeling better?" Optimus asked Kari as he gave her a smile.

"Thank you for the gift Kari, it's really nice." Arcee said thanking Kari for the gift that she made for Arcee.

"Thank you soo much Kari, it's so cute and tiny! I'm gonna make sure I keep him nice and safe!" Bumblebee said happily as he hugged it to his metal chest.

"I'm naming mine mini-bulk!" Bulkhead chuckled and held his close. Kari looked around.

"Where's Ratchet?" She asked.

"In the other room." Bulkhead stated with a shrug. Kari giggled and gave a small smile to everyone.

"I-I'm gla-glad you like them... I made them while I was still healing." Kari blushed lightly.

"They're very adorable Kari, thank you so much. We're all glad you're here with us and we wouldn't have it any other way Kari." Optimus said kindly patting her head gently with a smile. Kari blinked as she went wide eyes. She turned her back to them to hide her face, blushing and smiling like a dork. Arcee laughed a bit as she saw Kari acting all bashful as Bumblebee smiled at how sweet Kari was.

"Are you hungry Kari, Bulkhead grabbed you food while we were on our way back." Optimus said to Kari figuring she hasn't eaten in a while.

"Food?!" Kari called and snapped her head to them with a big smile and she stood up, tripping on her scarf but got back back up and trotted to Bulkhead. "Food? Food!" Kari giggled happily and Bulkhead rolled his eyes and took out a bag of sushi. "YES!! SUSHI FOR DINNER!!! SUSHI!!! YAY!!! FISH IS AMAZING!!!" Kari laughed and took her dinner happily and sat on the couch with a smile, accidentally waking Chase up with her excited squealing.

"Rrraaahr!" Chase grumbled, slightly annoyed as he rolled over onto his stomach and walked over to Kari and glared at her. "Rrrrraaar!" He roared in a scolding manner and Kari blinked and shrugged.

"Ok, and?"

"Rrraaarrrrr!!" Optimus chuckled as Kari and Chase went back and forth having a small conversation about how she woke him up from his sleep from how happy she was about having sushi for dinner.

"You'll get over it." Kari smiled and took a roll of sushi and ate it. Chase huffed then grabbed the other sushi rolls on the couch next to Kari and trotted off. "HEY!!" Kari frowned and went after him. Chase snickered and stood on his hind legs and played keep away. Kari reached for the sushi with a sniffle. "I'm sorry..." Kari whined and Chase went back down on all fours and gave Kari her sushi back. The girl smiled and trotted back to the couch happily. Arcee and Bumblebee laughed a bit at the two seeing how adorable it was at the exchanged Kari and Chase were having. For the rest of the evening Optimus, Bulkhead, Arcee, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Chase, and Kari spent the time hanging out and goofing around since they didn't have to worry about being attack by the decepticons.
