----- Autobots HQ, about a week later, afternoon -----

Kari was feeling better but still had to heal up, everyone else however was already healed up, even Optimus's arm. Sometimes she would sneak out of bed to go and watch Jasper only to be caught by Optimus, picked up and put back in bed. Chase watched over Kari a lot of the time but sometimes went out to do his own thing. Today Kari had snuck out of bed with Chase and was hiding from Optimus with a gulp.

"Ok, he'll be coming this way soon. All I need to do is go to the exit and bolt for Jasper and to guitar practice with Nate..." Kari whispered to Chase, who was in her arms. The dragon sighed in slight annoyance. "Hey don't pull that. Come on I'll be fine." Kari smiled at Chase and the dragon rolled his eyes. Optimus was looking for Kari once again.

"Instead of just running off she could just talk to me.... Still same as always... And she's still healing." Optimus said to himself, seeing Kari in the distance and speeding up.

"Scrap, we've been spotted! Evasive actions!" Kari gulped and went towards the exit, holding the unamused Chase in her arms. "Almost, Almost!" Kari called but tripped and yelped, holding her torso as she rolled around on the floor, Chase standing near by and shaking his head. "AAAHH!! THAT HURT SO MUCH!!" Kari called and got back up. Chase chuckled and left her to Optimus. "Traitor..." Kari grumbled then saw Optimus and gave a nervous smile. Optimus came over and sighed as he picked her up.

"Kari, I know you wanna go out, but you can't right now. And if you're not going to have one of us with you we won't be able to keep an eye on your wounds. Or what if something bad happens and we're not there, you got to talk to us if you want to do something." Optimus said sighing being fatherly as he picked Kari up and laid her back into her bed. Kari sighed.

"I wanna go out and practice my guitar skills! I haven't practiced in a while." Kari whined as Optimus sat in a chair next to her.

"I know, but you could at least have one of us bring you so we know you aren't bleeding out from your wound reopening. We're trying to let you have your freedom, but we can't do that if you don't tell us." Optimus said looking at her.

"Chase was gonna come." Kari called and a protesting roar sounded from the other room. "Don't be like that!" Kari called to Chase. Optimus chuckled.

"Chase is just worrying about your health as well, even though it's been a week you're still not fully healed up but I can get you your guitar so you can practice here." Optimus said as he smiled. Kari blinked and jumped up happily.

"REALLY?! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!" Kari squeaked and hugged Optimus but all the excitement put a little strain on her wounds, causing her to cough up a little blood. "... I'm ok..." Kari muttered with a gulp and smudged the blood on her cheek with a grin. Optimus sighed as he got up.

"I'll be back soon. Chase make sure she doesn't get out of bed please." Optimus said as he was leaving to go get Kari's stuff and a little surprise for Kari as he turned into a truck and heads out. Chase trotted into Kari's room, in robot form, and glared at her.

"What?" Kari giggled innocently. Optimus then called Nate as the sound of ringing was going. Nate soon picked up his cell phone.

"Hello, this is Nate, who's this?" He asked since this was the first time any of the Autobots called him.

"Hello Nate, this is Optimus." Optimus said.

"Oh, hey Optimus. How's Kari? I haven't seen her in a while. I still have her stuff." Nate replied with a smile in his voice.

"We had kind of a big problem with the decepticons so she's been in bed resting up." Optimus said being honest with Nate.

"Oh boy... Well if you want I could bring her stuff to the park for someone to pick up. I know how she is about getting better with her guitar. I'm thinking about helping her with the acoustic next." Nate chuckled and Optimus chuckled a bit as well.

"I was actually coming to come pick up her stuff and you so she wouldn't have to miss practice if you aren't busy Nate." Optimus replied as he was driving.

"I'm not busy at all. I'll go grab her stuff and mine and I'll meet you at the park. Sound good?" Nate asked in slight shock since this would be his first time to the autobots HQ.

"I will meet you at the park then." Optimus said as he started to drive to the park to meet Nate there. Nate gulped and went to the park with his things as well as Kari's things and waited for Optimus. Soon enough Optimus pulled up as he saw Nate and stopped then opened a door for him. Nate waved happily.

"Hello Nate, it is good to see you again." Optimus said as he greeted the human.

"Good to see you too, Optimus." Nate said then put his and Kari's things in then sat in the seat and buckled up. Once Nate was in the truck and all buckled up Optimus set out for back to the headquarters. Optimus returned to headquarters he turned back into a robot as Nate got out. The two then went to Kari's room to see her jumping up and down on her bed as music blared loudly and Chase was no where to be seen. The dragon soon walked up with food and saw Kari and growled then rushed to her and began to growl and snarl as if scolding her. Kari giggled nervously and rubbed the back of her head then held up a sign saying "totally worth it" as she saw Optimus and Nate walk up. Her eyes widened and her smile grew.

"NATE!!!" She called and was about to jump off of her bed but Chase stopped her. Nate stared at Kari, seeing her bandages.

"WHAT HAPPENED?! HOW DID-- WHAT--"

"I stabbed myself in the gut!" Kari called out childishly as if proud of herself. Nate began to freak out.

"WHY--- You know what. No, I don't even wanna know." Nate looked a little upset as he went up to Kari. "I'm just shocked..." Nate said with a sigh, still panicking on the inside. Optimus chuckled a bit shaking his head.

"I'll let you two practice, and Kari please do not push yourself." Optimus said looking at her.

"You're not gonna listen, Optimus?" Kari asked while sitting in her bed again, a little upset. Optimus looked then smiled as he pulled up a chair so he could stay and watch and to listen to Kari play the guitar. Kari smiled and Nate chuckled and began to teach Kari. Optimus smiled at how happy Kari looked as she played while she was learning from Nate.

"Pop quiz!" Nate called out and Kari groaned.

"Noooo..." Kari whined in agony. Chase laughed and Kari glared at him. Optimus chuckled a bit at Kari's reaction to a sudden pop quiz that Nate had for her.

"What are the names of the guitar cords?" Nate asked and Kari blinked.

"A, B, C, D, E and F." Kari replied happily. Nate nodded happily. Optimus was smiling as he watched. Soon Nate gave more questions to Kari and she answered some of them correctly, some she messed up on. Optimus listened as Kari was taking her pop quiz. After her pop quiz Nate let Kari play her guitar happily, both played the same song as Kari hummed to the tune with her eyes closed and her mouth curled into a small smile. Then she got an idea. Kari whispered something to Chase and the dragon left the room, trotting back in with her music player. Nate looked at Chase confused as he sat down the music player next to her, wagging his tail happily. Kari then began to press a few buttons on the music player and then inhaled through her nose.

"Nate, I'd just like you to listen." Kari said and Nate sat back with a nod. Optimus watched to see what she played. Bumblebee was walking by as he stopped to see what was going on. He saw Kari about to play something on the guitar. Bumblebee leaned on the door frame silently so he wouldn't disturb or distract Kari. Kari took her guitar pick and looked to Chase and nodded. Chase then jumped up in joy a few times then pressed the play button with his tail as Kari stood up on her bed about to play. ---

---- Decepticon's ship same time ----

Kaiser was doing better than how she was last week, but Knockout told her to still stay in her room and rest. Kaiser would sneak out of her room to go into the lab when Knockout wouldn't be in there to do some of her work to make of for lost time, but usually Knockout or Starscream would catch her and bring her back to the room. Today Kaiser was sneaking to the lab to do more work as Snowflake was following whining.

"Shh Snowflake one of them will hear you and then stop me from doing my work." Kaiser said as she continued her way to the lab. Knockout blinked as he heard something then sighed in annoyance. Kaiser was able to get into the lab and turn on the small light so no one would know she was in there tinkering away as Snowflake watched. Knockout walked in and picked Kaiser up and made it so she was face to face with him.

"Kaiser... You should be in bed..." He grumbled in annoyance. Kaiser gave a smile with a nervous laugh.

"he-hehhe, heyy there Knockout... But it's not like I'm gonna reopen one of the wounds by doing simple work." Kaiser said pouting a bit as Snowflake mewls agreeing with knockout.

"You can never know Kaiser. Now come on. To bed. I'll even bring in your music player for you." Knockout huffed and took Kaiser to her room. Kaiser huffed that once again she got caught and brought back, but she'll have her music to listen to in her room as Snowflake was following happily. Soon enough Knockout put Kaiser back in her room that was her cage so he set her down and went to get music set so he could put it in her room.

"Thank you Knockout." Kaiser said with a childish smile. Knockout nodded and left the room for a moment then came back with Kaiser's music player and handed it to her.

"Here you are." He said. "Now stay in bed. I don't want you to get hurt anymore." Knockout sighed then turned to leave. Kaiser rolled her eyes playfully.

"alright big bro." Kaiser said as she set her music play down near her bed as Snowflake was sitting on her bed with her, watching. Kaiser turned it on as she turned it so she was on the right station as her favorite song "Unravel" was just starting.

Starscream was walking by Kaiser's room and decided to see how she was. He heard her music playing and decided to listen to he leaned on the wall next to the door with his arms crossed. The other side of the hall Megatron was going to talk to Kaiser about her behavior, but stopped as he heard music and decided to listen for the time being.

----- both places, same time ----- (Kat: Song is above for you all to hear :P)

Both girls did not know it but they were singing the same song at the same time. Kari played her guitar in unison with the song and sang with Kaiser.

"Oh, can you tell me, can you tell me, exactly how it works? And who is that I see? I see inside of me? And how am I supposed to get by within this broken world?" They both sang out in unison, getting into it.

"I hear you laugh at me, but I don't see a thing." Kari sang louder than Kaiser as she played her guitar wholeheartedly while the music player covered the other instruments.

"Within my head, I'm so damaged. I'll hold my breath and I'll freeze." Kari and Kaiser sang together just as loud in unison.

"I'm breakable, unbreakable." Kaiser sang out black mist coming from her symbol.

"I'm shakable, unshakable," Kari belted out with a grin, her symbols glowing brightly.

"I found you then I shook inside." Both belted out happily, getting into the song.

"And in this twisted world, I can now feel myself." Kaiser sang as she ran a hand through her black hair

"I'm fading away, falling under your spell." Kari sang out as she strummed her guitar, her hair in her face covering her eyes slightly.

"Don't look for me---" Kari sang out as Kaiser finished her off.

"--Cuz I am too far gone!" Kaiser sang loudly as her symbol glowed heavier making it hard to see through the mist to see her neck.

"I don't wish to hurt those who I call my friends," Kari sang louder as her symbols began to get brighter with her emotions while flipping her hair out of her face.

"I'm stuck within a nightmare ---" Kaiser sang as Kari joined in.

"Someone else imagined, I won't forget! I'll remember who I am!" Both sang out the ending and inhaled, gulped and sighed.

----- Autobots HQ after the song -----

Kari sighed and looked to Nate, Chase, and Optimus and blinked then blushed. She forgot they were there and she had gone all out without meaning to. Chase thumped his tail on the ground and roared happily.

"Rrrrraaaahhhrrr!!!" He called and Nate applauded with a big grin.

"Good job! You're really good." He said and Kari gave an embarrassed giggle as she rubbed the back of her head, sitting down again. Optimus clapped as he smiled.

"That was really good Kari." Optimus said with a smile. Bumblebee smiled once Kari was finished playing her guitar and singing. He then left before he was seen by any of them going back to his room. Kari blushed more when Optimus spoke and she gave a shy smile.

"Th-th-thanks..." Kari stammered childishly. Optimus nodded his head with a smile.

"You're very welcome Kari, you really do practice hard." Optimus said feeling proud of Kari.

"Oh, you know Kari. In a few months for Halloween maybe you could play with me and my band. We're having a small concert for fun. I'm sure we'd be great! Come wearing a costume." Nate offered and Kari blinked then looked up at Optimus. "We'll also have a christmas concert at the mall the town over." Nate informed and Kari's eyes went from normal to pleading kitten eyes. Optimus looked at her and sighed.

"You can go, but you must have one of us come for the ride." Optimus said giving a smile.

"YAY! YOU ALL BETTER COME WITH CUZ THIS'LL BE AMAZING!!!" Kari called out happily and jumped up, getting too excited. "Ow, ow--" Kari coughed and a little blood spurted from her mouth. "..I'm ok..." Kari gulped and sat back down. Nate got a little freaked out and jolted at the sudden blood spurted out of Kari's mouth but sighed in relief when he saw she was ok. Optimus sighed at Kari's hyper moment sending her a bit over board.

"Kari please be a bit more careful or I'll have to call Ratchet in here." Optimus said looking over.

"... Kay... No promises when I'm really happy though." Kari giggled and made the number "3" out of her index finger, middle finger, and thumb of her right and rubbed the back of her head with her left hand while giving a big grin with her eyes closed. Optimus chuckled as he lightly patted her head. Kari blinked and then narrowed her eyes tiredly, her smile fading as she yawed and stretched her arms upwards. Chase trotted up and went into toy form, startling Nate for a moment. Chase then snuggled into Kari as she held him and her guitar in her lap with her music player still playing "Unravel" since it was on repeat. Optimus smiled at the cute scene in front of him. Nate sighed then stood up, grabbed his things and then began to silently leave the room with Optimus close behind while Kari fell asleep. Optimus turned into a truck when they were at the exit so he can take Nate home.

"Here." Nate said with a smile, letting Optimus know they were at his house. "Thanks for taking me home." He smiled as he unbuckled his seatbelt, got his things and got out.

"It was no problem Nate, thank you for coming over to visit with Kari and doing practice with her." Optimus said still a truck.

"Anything fo Kari. I'll have to set up a time with my group so we can all meet and practice. I think they'd love Kari, she's such a sweet kid. You and the other autobots should come to the concerts. I'll give Kari the address for our meet ups with the whole group and for the concerts for you guys to have so you know." Nate smiled kindly.

"We will most likely come, and of course. You're always welcome to come and visit us." Optimus said kindly. Nate nodded and said goodbye to Optimus as he went inside his house. Optimus started to head back for HQ once Nate got into his house.

----- Decepticons Ship, moments after the song was finished -----

Starscream sighed and walked away from the door, doing his own thing, content and proud of Kaiser's song. Megatron left for his room, he'll give her a scolding later or tomorrow since she's in her own little world. Kaiser finished the song as Snowflake pranced around on the bed happily as the bell around her neck jingled. Kaiser petted her head and giggled at how energetic she could be of a stuffed animal that comes to life. Knockout had heard the song as well and decided to check on Kaiser, since she doesn't sing like that very often.

"Kaiser, you ok?" He asked while peeking in. Kaiser looked over and turned pink a bit in the face and tilted her head to the side.

"Yeah why wouldn't I be? I've been staying out of trouble so I wouldn't hurt myself." Kaiser said looking at him.

"No reason. Just curious." Knockout shrugged and smiled kindly.

"Alright." Kaiser said as "Unravel" was playing again in the background.

"You should get some sleep kid, the more you rest the more you heal." Knockout sighed and looked at Kaiser then snowflake then back to Kaiser. Kaiser went and got into bed as Snowflake curled up snuggled to Kaiser as they both fell asleep quickly. Knockout chuckled and left the two alone.
