----- Decepticon's Ship Afternoon, about a week later -----

Megatron was in his room making plans as Kari was sitting on his shoulder like always. Megatron was trying to locate more energon and a way to finally properly dispose of Optimus and the autobots for good. Kaiser was in her section of the lab blasting music keeping to herself as she worked. Kaiser hasn't tried to talk to Kari ever since their little "talk" so she just kept herself distant and keeping to herself not speaking to anyone very much anymore. Soon Kari stood up and pointed something out.

"There... Look..." She said, her voice not as emotionless as before. "... Energon in that area..." Megatron looked as he smirked and looked at Kari.

"Indeed there is, looks like there is a lot of it as well. I knew you were good for something kid." Megatron said as he called for the grunts to get ready.

"If the autobots come, I'd like to handle them please..." Kari said as a small smirk formed on her lips. Her teeth were showing but they were now more fang like. "Nothing would hurt them more then me tearing out their sparks." Megatron chuckled as he nodded his head.

"Of course you can Kari." Megatron said with a smirk.

"Thank you, Lord Megatron." Kari then got ready to leave with Megatron while Starscream got Kaiser. Kaiser was at work finishing up a grunt as she turned it on to see if it worked. The repaired grunt turned on and looked around, but once it saw Kaiser it lunged at her. Kaiser reacted as she moved a bit and she jammed her hand into the grunt's chest cavity and pulled out the power box as it fell.

"That's the damn fourth time that's happened with this one. Guess this one is hitting the scrap yard." Kaiser said smashing it on the ground and went to clean her oil covered and slightly cut up hand. Starscream came in and looked at Kaiser.

"Kaiser, we have a job. Let's get going." He said with a plain tone. Kaiser looked over as she tossed her towel to the table and started to leave, walking past Starscream silently as she checked her hand and portion of her arm to make sure it was no serious cuts, which there weren't. Megatron waited for Starscream and Kaiser to meet up with him and Kari. Kari blinked at Kaiser and tilted her head then got into Megatron once he transformed then left. Starscream transformed and waited for Kaiser to hop in. Kaiser got in without a word once Starscream was a jet and they set off behind Megatron. Soon they arrived near where the energon was supposed to be. Kari looked around while getting out of Megatron then climbed onto his shoulder once he had transformed. Starscream landed and let Kaiser out and transformed, looking around a bit. Kaiser looked around their surrounded as she walked a bit to look for the energon. Megatron stood where he was to survey the area as everyone was looking for the energon. Soon Kari sensed something and looked to see the Autobots, Ratchet included.

"I was kinda hoping they'd show..." Kari smirked lightly. Kaiser shook her head hearing Kari as she just kept looking in silence. Megatron chuckled as Kari spoke liking her way of thinking even though originally this wouldn't be like anything she'd say.

"Megatron release Kari from your evil clutches now!" Optimus said as he appeared.

"But I like it here." Kari called and stood up then hovered down to the ground from Megatron's shoulder. "They aren't overbearing, overprotective, closed minded bots like you. They let me do what I want. Granted it's not much until now but still." Kari smirked, showing her fangs with a small chuckle. "Like my new fangs? Thought of 'em myself."

"Kari don't be stupid and fight this! You're wayyy better than this to be taking orders from Megatron!" Arcee said calling out to Kari.

"And I think his orders are more fun than Optimus'. Yeah you heard me. MEGATRON'S ORDERS ARE MORE FUN THAN OPTIMUS'!!" Kari laughed and then her right eye began to look like a black void while her left stayed the same. Kaiser glared to Kari at how she sounded and she balled her hand into a fist.

"I have to do something about this before it's too late... I will not allow Kari to fall down this route even if it kills me." Kaiser thought to herself as she tried to think of a plan to help get Kari back to normal. Optimus looked at Kari sadly seeing that she's been changing from her time with Megatron.

"Well? Come at me! Or do you still think I can be saved?!" Kari called, getting ready to fight. "No, stop. Don't fight them! Please!" Kari's right eye went back to normal.

"Shut up! I'm in control!" Kari began to bicker with herself angrily as her right eye went back to being a black void.

"Kari fight this please, we don't want to fight you! We're your friends not your enemy!" Bumblebee pleaded to Kari with eyes of hope.

"Well to freakin bad! Either you fight me..." Kari's fangs began to emit smoke. "Or I'll kill you..." She then lunged at Bulkhead and bit into his shoulder hard, ripping out a chunk of metal. Bulkhead screamed and tried to get Kari off of him without hurting her. Kari's right eye went back to normal as she gagged, rushing behind a tree to dry heave as she felt Bulkhead's energon on her lips.

"Wh-why'd you d-do that! That's B-bulkhead!"

"Shut up freak and quit bein' a cry baby!" Kari growled as her right eye went back to being a black void and stood back up, wiping the blue liquid off her lips, some of it smearing on her cheeks. Kaiser looked over and cringed at the site and ran for Kari creating black mist grabbing Kari and pulled her back from Bulkhead. Megatron watched as Kaiser was stepping into the fight and growled, but did not step in himself.

"You're being stupid! Kari, ever since you got here you've been becoming more and more of Megatron's mindless lap dog!!" Kaiser shouted as her sapphire eyes had a glowing black mist over them. Optimus watched with widened eyes, was Kaiser helping them?

"... And are you any better? Besides... I'm not Kari." Kari replied.

"At least I have control over myself! My actions are my OWN choice now snap out of it Kari!" Kaiser shouted more trying to get through to her. Bumblebee watched as the two girls argued.

Kari groaned and made her right arm into a gun and shot a bullet at Kaiser, missing as it nicked her left cheek. "Shut up or else..." Kari stated with a demonic low tone. Kaiser growled as her symbol began to glow and created an illusion of a dark room with no one but the two of them.

Kari's right eye went back to normal. "Kaiser stop it! I-I c-can handle this!!" Kari's right eye went back to being a black void.

"I told you to shut up brat!" Kari's right eye went back to normal as she yelled.

"GET OUT!! GET OUT! GET OUT!! GET OUT OF MY BODY!!" Kari's right eye went back to being a void.

"MAKE ME!! THIS IS MY BODY NOW YOU LITTLE BRAT!!" Kaiser looked as she created illusions of the autobots on the ground hurt.

"Obviously you can't handle it Kari cuz if you could you wouldn't let this other you have so much control! You DON'T BELONG to Megatron!" Kaiser shouted more looking Kari dead in the eyes.

"You really think you're illusions can affect me?" Kari asked and wiped away the illusions, looking at Kaiser while her right eye stayed like a void. "You are pitiful. Stay out of my way." Ratchet grumbled and took aim at Kari to shoot the antidote. He shot the only dart they had but Kari caught it in a bubble and crushed it with a frown. "Not gonna happen." Kari then lunged at Ratchet and made her right arm into a blade and jammed it into Ratchet's torse a few times then his shoulder and she backed off, heading for Arcee next. Arcee prepared herself so she could block and grab Kari. Kaiser growled as she watched Kari go to attack Arcee.

"Kaiser stand down!" Megatron shouted, but Kaiser ignored him and focused on the people in front of her. Bumblebee watched in sadness that they might have to knock her out or something so she could calm down.

Kari vanished and then stabbed Arcee in the back. Her right eye went back to normal after she landed. "Stop it please! They're my family. Stop it! STOP IT!" Kari cried out as her right eye went back to being a black void.

"Not gonna happen Kari. I'm in control."

"Stop it, please!"

"Nope... You know why you aren't winning?"

"Why?"

"Because I'm feeding off your negative emotions. I'm getting stronger because of you. Your anger, your confusion, your questions. You may have had that big outburst with Optimus but that didn't help. You were slightly happy when you found out Megatron let you do whatever you wanted. You were glad they weren't always on your back--"

"Shut up!"

"You were kinda happy you left!"

"Shut up!! I'm not happy I left! I'm upset and in pain! Get out!"

"I can help you Kari... I'll take that pain away."

"..."

"Kari?"

"..."

"I'll take that as an "I accept your offer" ... Now just sit back like a good girl while I finish my job." Kari smirked and her right arm went back to normal and curved spikes appeared along her back. She then looked at Optimus and her smirk grew with evil intentions. "Lets see..." She then had an idea and curled into a ball then aimed for Optimus's right shoulder joint. She hit it quickly and cut his arm clean off.

"Kari STOP IT!" Kaiser shouted setting up another illusion up as she tossed a knife slicing Kari's right cheek a bit.

"THERE IS NO MORE KARI!" "Kari" called out and once again wiped away the illusions. "I told you I'm not that little brat!" "Kari" then looked at Bumblebee. Her left eye shedding a few tears while her right now had a red pupil.

"Optimus... I'm s-so sorry..." Kari whined, but her right eye was still a black void with a red pupil. Kari then lunged at Bumblebee and she went to stab him in the chest as her right arm changed back into a blade, bigger than last time. She was about to stab Bumblebee when--- "NOT WHILE I'M STILL BREATHIN DAMN IT!" Kari changed the momentum of her blade arm and stabbed her stomach, leaving a big hole in her torso. Kari landed on her back hard and coughed up blood and wheezed while a black slug then began to exit her mouth. "... N-no re-g-grets..." Kari growled and the slug took the form of Kari but with void eyes that had glowing green pupils, fangs, black clothing and venom purple hair that was long and not pulled up.

"You are an idiot..." She grumbled and kicked Kari's side, making her yelp lightly in pain. Bumblebee and Optimus started to freak out as they both rushed over. Bumblebee scooped up Kari and Optimus pointed his gun at the other Kari. Kaiser watched with wide eyes as she saw Kari bleeding as she slightly started to shake.

"Pfft... You can't kill me. I'm connected to her life force. You kill me then you'll also kill her... Only she can kill me and break our connection." The dark Kari huffed. Kari growled and struggled to her feet.

"B-bee... Put me down... I-I have a plan..." Kari huffed. Bumblebee looked down at her as he was scared for Kari getting hurt anymore then after a minute he slowly put her down. Megatron growled as he watched the scene before him unfold.

"Aw, Kari's here to kill me... What're you gonna do? Bleed on me?"

"Nope..." Kari replied then lunged to her dark-self and placed a hand on dark Kari's forehead, a glowing silver and venom purple orb began to form in Kari's wound. It grew and was now the size of the wound, maybe a bit bigger. Dark Kari jumped back.

"Wh-what the hell did you do?!"

"I took some of your life energy. It closed my wound temporarily. When I use it against you then my wound will open back up and it'll kill me. But I'm not dying alone." Kari glared and Dark Kari growled.

"You don't care that you're staring death right in the eyes?"

"Been there done that. I'm just happy I got to meet all these people... Except the decepticons." Kari looked to the Autobots and gave a smile to them then looked back to Dark Kari. "You know... I'm actually kinda glad I'm about to die... I should have died years ago... But here I am... Now I won't be a burden, worry anyone or get in anyone's way or cause anyone to suffer... And now I won't live with the guilt of knowing what I did to my family..." Kari looked down and sighed.

"You regret anything?" Dark Kari asked then took a stance. Kari looked to her dark-self with a smirk and narrow, confident eyes.

"Not a damn thing!" The two then lunged at each other at full force, Dark Kari using her left arm as a blade while Kari used her right arm as a blade. Moments passed and the orb in Kari's gut had made her wound grow a bit bigger. Kari hissed in slight pain then she jumped back and the orb began to glow along with her right arm. "This is it..." Kari thought as the orb got smaller and her sword got bigger and changed color to match the orb. Kari went in and stabbed Dark Kari's heart, going straight through as blood splattered from her wound as well as Dark Kari's. Both fell to the ground and Dark Kari's body went back to being black slug, which Starscream swiftly grabbed to show Knockout later. Kari's body did not twitch as blood crept down her cheek, her eyes wide open as if in pain yet not in pain and blood pooled around her. Bumblebee ran over to Kari soon after she fell, afraid of losing her.

Kaiser couldn't believe her eyes, she started to run forward, but then something grabbed her as she looked back a big black goopy looking creature with purple haze emitting from its body as she tried to get free.

"L-let go! I control you!" Kaiser shouted as the other hand formed long claws that resembled long needles and struck her into her right shoulder. "Stop it!" Kaiser shouted in pain trying to make it go away, but it was useless. Megatron looked on, at first he didn't see anything until the illusion monster showed itself. The monster pulled its claw out as more claws appeared but different styles of blades piercing and slashing at her skin. Kaiser cried out in pain as her pants and fishnet shirt were getting ripped from the stabbing and slashing as she fell back onto her butt while the monster kept coming for her. The autobots looked over at Kaiser who was freaking out about something.

"I said stop already! Go away!" Kaiser shouted as she tried to scramble away, but it latched onto her back as it kept on attacking now creating cut and stab wounds in her back. "If I don't do something about this and fast it's gonna end up ki-killing me!" Kaiser thought in a panic as she finally got out from it's grip and took out a knife and made it turn into a sword with her ability as she ran at it piercing it but not stopping until she felt a stab in the chest area. Megatron kept on watching as he watched Kaiser scream and slice at the monster as it finally vanished into black mist. Kaiser dropped the normal knife as she collapsed and a pool of blood formed around her and getting into her hair. Starscream widened his eyes and went to Kaiser's aid quickly. Kaiser tried to breath, but her chest hurt a lot as her eyes got a bit blurry while a tear fell from her left eye.

Optimus looked over to the older girl on the decepticon's side who was bleeding out on the ground then looked to Kari.

"Lets go autobots Ratchet we need to you help Kari." Optimus said then scooped Kari into the arm that was still in good condition as he rushed to get back. Bumblebee rushed as well, grabbing Optimus' arm that was on the ground.

"Right!" Ratchet called and opened the ground bridge, gulping down the pain as he walked through and got things ready as quickly as he could for Kari. Megatron scoffed and turned into his vehicle mode.

"Grab the brat and lets go." Megatron said angry with the girl who he could careless if she died or not at the moment leaving the two behind.

"Y-yes sir!" Starscream called and picked up Kaiser and followed Megatron. When they were back at the ship Starscream busted into the lab and called Knockout.

"What happened?!" Knockout called after seeing Kaiser, panicking as he got his medical equipment.

"Her own illusions attacked her. Hurry up and patch Kaiser up now before she dies!"

"I'm trying! But I can't focus with you breathing down my neck! Go wait outside!" Knockout growled and Starscream grumbled and went in the hall with a gulp.

----- Autobots HQ -----

Ratchet got a medical bed ready and let Optimus sit Kari down on it as he began to work. Kari was barely alive since they could literally see her lungs moving from the hole she made in her torso. Bulkhead was trying to leave Ratchet alone but it was hard to since Kari's life was on the line.

"Oh man... What's gonna happen to Kar-Kar?" Bulkhead whined and looked at Arcee. The femm-bot was sitting in a chair with one leg over the other, crossing her arms as she tapped her foot on the floor nervously hoping that Kari would live while Bumblebee was sitting on the couch, holding his head looking down to the floor of the same room that Ratchet was doing everything he could to save her.

"Kari please make it, We don't want to lose you... I don't want to lose you right after getting you back... Please." Bumblebee thought to himself as he was worrying so much. Optimus was pacing back and forthing worried sick about Kari's health, he only hoped that she'd pull through because he knew she was strong. Soon a small black figure caught everyone's attention as it trotted over to Kari's bedside.

"Rrrraaahhhrrr....?" It sounded sad as is climbed up to her and nuzzled into Kari's arm. Ratchet blinked.

"Is... Is that Chase?!" He called but remembered Kari and got back to work. Soon Ratchet was done and he walked out of the room with a sigh, wiping his hands. Optimus walked up to Ratchet with hope in his eyes.

"Is Kari going to be okay?" Optimus asked him.

"... I sure hope so... I've done all I can. Now it's all on her." Ratchet replied with a sigh. "You can see her if you want. Just don't mess with her." Ratchet then let Optimus see the little one. Optimus walked in as he saw Kari sleeping and Chase next to her. Optimus sighed and pulled a chair up then sat near the bed keeping an eye on her.

"... D...Dad...?" Kari called out weakly and opened her eyes slightly to see Optimus. "I...I'm...s...sor...sorry..." She had her eyes narrowed as she looked at Optimus, her vision blurry. Optimus' eyes widened as he looked to Kari after he heard her voice.

"Kari it wasn't your fault, you were being controlled... And all that matters is that you're home again." Optimus said softly not wanting to be loud.

"...I'm....sor...sorry... I'm... so...sorry...." Kari whispered tiredly, Chase got on all fours and trotted towards Kari's head to lightly squish her cheeks with his front two paws to calm her down.

"Rrrrr...." He called sadly and Kari blinked, thinking she was dreaming this up. Optimus watched as Chase, Kari's guardian stuffed animal was comforting her as he smiled.

"None of us are mad at you, we're just happy you're back home. They'll be happy to hear you're alright." Optimus said still not being loud, but loud enough for Kari to hear him.

"...K... a....y...." Kari yawned and closed her eyes. "...s...t...a...y....?" She asked reaching for Optimus's index finger. Optimus smiled as he gave Kari his index finger to hold.

"I won't leave your side till you're feeling better." Optimus said with a gently smile.

".... P... ro.... mise.....?" She asked with her small right hand weakly gripping Optimus while her left arm held Chase. Optimus nodded his head.

"I promise Kari, you have my word." Optimus said as he had no intentions of leaving Kari's side anytime soon. Kari soon fell asleep and Chase went out of the room and transformed into a robotic form of his toy self, getting everyone's attention.

"Rrrraaahhr!" He called out happily. Everyone was shocked to suddenly see Kari's stuffed toy transform like he did. They did not remember him from That day at all. Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Ratchet and Arcee looked at him confused as to what it was going to do now. Chase sighed and pointed his tail to Kari's room. Bumblebee got up to be the first one to walk to the room as Arcee was second to follow then Bulkhead and finally Ratchet. Everyone walked in to see Optimus sitting in a chair next to Kari as she was laying in bed resting.

"Shhh she's resting, don't talk too loud." Optimus said as he heard everyone come into Kari's room. Chase trotted in and went back to his smaller toy form and got back on the bed and snuggled next to Kari.

"She looks so... Peaceful... " Bulkhead whispered, a little confused. Ratchet nodded with a sigh. Bumblebee left relieved that Kari was okay and was gonna make it. Optimus watched as Kari rested peacefully.

"Hey let's go so she can rest and fully recover." Arcee said to the others in the group knowing that Kari will be alright and Optimus was keeping an eye on Kari. Bumblebee looked at Kari one more time as he sent a smile to Kari's sleeping face before leaving the room next. Then Ratchet and Bulkhead left the room as well.

----- Decepticon ship -----

Knockout soon walked out of Kaiser's room and sighed, seeing Starscream near the door.

"She'll make it. Her wounds will take a few months to heal up, but she'll live." He said and let Starscream in to see Kaiser. "Be quiet and don't mess with her." Starscream walked in to see Kaiser asleep peacefully on the hospital bed. A sound of feet running in and jumping on the bed sounded. Starscream looked to see Snowflake walk to Kaiser.

"Mer-ow!" Snowflake whimpered as she nudged her head against her cheek then she curled up to lay with Kaiser. Kaiser moved a bit in her sleep as she breathed lightly.

"H-hey." Kaiser said weakly as her eyes opened a bit feeling that someone was in her room seeing it was Starscream.

"Hey..." Starscream whispered with a small smile. Kaiser frowned a bit.

"H-he's mad i-isn't he?" Kaiser said talking about Megatron she then noticed Snowflake moving, but just patted her gently.

"I don't know... But I know I'm not mad..." Starscream sighed and pulled up a chair and sat down by Kaiser's bedside. Kaiser looked at him and breathed.

"Th-thanks.... Sorry for worrying y-you again Starscream... Th-that was probably a burden huh?" Kaiser said now looking at the ceiling.

"Hush... Just get some rest..." Starscream sighed. "I don't wanna hear apologies, just don't do it again... That'll be good enough for me..." Kaiser looked back at him shocked then smiled a bit as she nodded her head.

"I'll try my best, but it's hard to predict when my own illusions will go against me... But I'll try to stay out of too much trouble next time." Kaiser said closing her eyes as she held Snowflake falling right back to sleep. Starscream decided to stay by Kaiser and not leave since he was worried about her. Knockout looked in from the doorway and sighed then left and got back to work.
