I actually wrote this back in April. And waited for summer to actually come.

Summer. Probably the greatest season of the year. Ice cream, beaches, water balloon fights, no school, parties and random fun car rides just to name a few. but sometimes, its really hot.

"UUUGGhhhhh its too HOT!!" Miko wined, slouching on the couch

"Yeaaaa!" you whined back, leaning against her shoulder

"whats the plan?" Jack asked. Looking at Raf

"umm i don't know, maybe the bots have something" Raf said

"eh maybe" you said

Right on cue. Optimus, Bulkhead, Arcee and Bee came in from the training room. Optimus walked over towards the monitors. Bee spotted Raf and trotted over, along with Arcee and Bulkhead. Beeping and whirling.

"Hey A-Arcee, We should go for a ride, it is a nice day" jack said rubbing the back of his head

"BULKHEAD, LETS GO TO A RALLY!" Miko yelled

"Bee, maybe we can go out for a toy car race?" Raf asked

They all asked their guardians in unison. They all smiled

"Sure, why not?" Arcee said

"I was about to say the same thing!" Bulkhead said happily

::Beep, Boop, beeeeeeeep:: Bee said (hehe sorry ;~;)

The kids ran down the stairs and their guardians transformed, they hopped in and they all sped out of base, and you were there by yourself. You slumped down on the couch and crossed your arms.

"I wanna do something." You mumbled to yourself and looked over towards the monitors. Optimus wasn't there, you sat up straighter.

"(Y/N)?" Optimus asked

You jumped off the couch in surprise and landed on your back, legs in the air

"Jeez, Optimus, you scared me" you chuckled

"Sorry, I did not mean to frighten you"

"Its okay, so whats up"

"I was wondering, what humans do during the summer season."

you grinned

"Well... there's lot. What do you have in mind?"

"I saw that humans go swim in the water around here, they make fires and cook things over them, and outdoors theaters and many other things"

"We could go swim, it is pretty hot." you said "But i need to grab my things first"

He understood and transformed. You ran down the stairs and he opened the passenger door for you

"Thanks" you said

"You're welcome" He said through the radio

You sat in an awkward silence. Starring out the window watching the scenery go by. You didn't noticed that he stopped right at your house.

"(Y/N)?" Optimus asked

"Yea." You snapped out of your thoughts

"We are at your house"

You looked out the window, and your house was in view

"I'll be right back" You said while exiting

You ran to your door, opened it and ran to your room, desperately searching for your bathing suit. You pulled all your clothes out of the dresser drawers, after about 2 minutes you found it and put it on. You ran to the bathroom to grab a towel, changes your shoes to slip ons and scurried out the door. Instead of the passenger seat you ran to the drivers, by instinct

"I'm ready" You said happily

"Alright" he stated

He scanned your frame and blushed. The interior started to heat up a bit. Then he started to drive again

"Optimus, are you okay?" You asked

"Yes, Why?"

"I mean it's kinda hot in here"

"Oh, I'm sorry"

"It's okay"

The heat cooled down and was back down to normal. You places your hands on the steering wheel. His whole Alt mode shook.

"(Y/N)..."

"Hmm"

"Y-your hands"

You realized that your hand were on his steering wheel and quickly removed them

"Oh im sorry, i- i didn't know"

"It's quite alright"

You both arrived at a cliff, you hopped out of his alt,

"Hold on don't transform yet" You said holding your hand up

You started to walk away from his alt, looking around the area making sure nobody was here. Luckily nobody was,

"Alright, your good Optimus" you yelled

Your ears heard the sound of metal again metal, you turned around and met your face with optimus. He was kneeling down to your height, his arm on his knee and his servo hanging off

"So, what do we do first?" he asked

You smiled, and walked over to his servo and grabbed his digit.

"Come on!" you said while dragging his digit, he followed you to where you were leading him too. Both of you reached the edge of the cliff. You slipped off your shoes, and took of your shirt and shorts. He starred at you, Energon across his face plates. you sighed and walked over to the edge.

Damn it's deep...SWEET

You walked backwards and looked at Optimus. His face blue.

"What?"

"Nothing, sorry...what exactly are you doing?"

"This!" You grinned then ran to the edge of the cliff. Optimus watched his eyes widened when you jumped off the cliff. You did a Backflip in the air and then into a dive (pretend you can do that). The water was an okay temperature. You opened your eyes and looked around then swam back up to the surface. You saw Optimus at the edge on his knees. Fear written on his face.

"Come on!" You yelled "I'm okay...maybe...you should do it"

"I am not sure I should." He blankly said "it might be too dangerous"

"Fine...can you at least get in"

"...Fine" he huffed

YES

He started to climb down the cliff slowly. Making sure huge rocks don't fall. You swam back to the rocky cliff so your could hold on to something. You grabbed onto a rock and stayed afloat. Optimus's pedes 20 ft above you, then he slipped. His arms trying to grab the cliff again but he was to far back and fell into the ocean. Making a huge wave. Washing over you and splashing up against the cliff. You screamed and water engulfed you. Then the water went back to normal, you still hanging on the rock and choking back a laugh. But couldn't take it and let it all out. You climbed on top of the rock and fell to your knees laughing. You looked out to the ocean and saw Optimus's frame slowly coming up to the surface. He broke the surface and his face was full of surprise, he looked at your frame and saw you on your knees.

"I am sorry, I di-" he was cut off by your laugher

"I didn't *laugh* expect you to *laugh* to fall" you laughed

He optics widened and realized that your went hurt what so ever but you were happy. His stern face turned into a smile

"One more time" you said

"Thanks, i was getting really tired" You said, turning on your stomach

"I could tell" you heard him say, his tone was happy.

You could hear the water move out of his way, and once one shore you heard each of his steps. he kneeled down and gently grabbed your frame from a top of his helm and placed you on the ground.

"That was fun!" you said happily

"Indeed" he said

"Whats next on your list"

"I was thinking about, what you humans call a camp fire?"

"Yea, but its better with more people...What if we do it later and we just...How 'bout a car ride?"

"I don't see why not" he walked over towards the road we came from and transformed. You grabbed your things and ran to his alt more and hopped in the passenger side. You both drove off, going anywhere.

"Where will we go" he broke the silence.

"Anywhere,"

You turned towards the radio,

"Hey, uh Optimus, can i put on music"

"Of course"

You smiled, reached over to the radio and played with the nobs. Trying to find a song. and you stopped when you heard a good song

Optimus moved his mirror to see you dance and hear you sing, he smiled widely even though you couldn't see

You looked up and saw that he had a sunroof. You decided to open it, he was about to question but he didn't. You stuck your body outside through the sunroof, raising your hands and singing the words loudly

Optimus couldn't contain his smile, he laughed at your weirdness. When you heard it, you felt happier than ever before, you never heard the prime laugh

You screamed and laughed. You didn't realize where you two were going but your were having the greatest time of your life. You realized after about an hour of singing. You two were back at the base, taking the long way back. You slipped back in his alt, laughing so much that your stomach hurt. Your laughing died down. He smiled profoundly. You both drove into the base, he transformed and you sat crossed crossed in his palm, you looked up at him and started to laugh again. He smiled but then his battle mask covered his face. But you could tell he smiled widely under it.

"That, was, awesome!" You yelled, you fell on your back, looking up at the mech.

"Yes, it was." he stated. "But now what?"

You thought for a moment, what else can we do. Right on que, the rest of the bots came back into base. Their charges happy and laughing. You crawled over to his digits and looked over. Seeing them getting out of their guardians, and the bots transforming.

"Guys!" You called out

They all looked up at Optimus's palm and saw you and smiled. Optimus lowered his palm to let you down. Jumping over his digits you ran over to the kids. Optimus walk towards the monitors by Ratchet

"Hey (y/n)!" They all said

"Guys I have an idea with all the bots" you said quickly

"What is it!" Miko yelled

"A camp fire...on the roof of base! Would that be good?"

They all paused

"Great!" Raf said

"I can ask my mom to get some marshmallows" Jack told

"I can get the wood and matches!" Miko explained

You smiled and the kids went back to their charges and asked them to go get their necessities, except for Raf. Arcee and Bulkhead transformed and sped out of base. Raf walked up next to you

"Does Ratchet and Optimus know?" He asked

"I mean...Optimus gave me the idea" you shrugged. You both we at the bottom of the stairs and walked up, Raf went to the couch. And you went towards the monitor. Where ratchet and Optimus are

"Hey Ratchet!" You called, about to lean on the monitor.

"Ep ep ep, don't do that. What do you want"

"Sorry. Anyways you wanna go on the roof with us and have a camp fire?"

He hesitated, and looked at you disapprovally. Optimus leaned over and whispered something in his audio receptors. Ratchet huffed

"Fine Fine. I will go to your...camp Fire" he sighed

"Yes!" You yelled. You ran back over to Raf,

"He said he will. Let's set up!"

After about a half an hour, you and Raf made a rock circle on top of base. So the wood could go into the middle. While working the sound of the elevator door broke you from your trance. Turning around seeing Arcee, Miko and Jack with their things they needed. Arcee and Miko were holding the wood, and Jack brought marshmallows and sticks. Arcee dumped the wood next to the fire and Miko put hers in it. Then pulling the matches out of her pocket. She scraped it across the box and fire formed. She flicked it into the pit

"Perfect!" She said

The fire started small. Still forming bigger. The rest of the bots came up on top of the roof. Smiling and looking at what their charges made. Bee and Raf sat right in front of the fire while Miko was on Bulkhead shoulder also next to the fire and Jack and Arcee next to each other talking. You wiped your hand off and walked over to Optimus who was sitting against a rock looking away from the fire, looking towards the town. You walked up to his pede and knocked on it gently. He looked down at you and smiled a bit.

"Why don't you go by the fire?" You asked

"I will..." he said softly.

"Oh okay..." you said and leaned up against his pede. And looked up at him

"Thank you" he mumbled

"For what?" You questioned

"For today...I haven't had a break from the Decepticons and being a leader...it's, what you humans say stressful." He explained

"Oh...your welcome" you said looking out towards the little town. He shifted his pede and you slid off.

"Let go by the fire" he said

You got up and brushed yourself off, the. You both made you way to the fire, where laughter and chatter was. All the bots there, including Ratchet. The kids next to their bots laughing. They all looked at you both

"(Y/N)!" Miko called "Marshmallow tiiimmee~"

You laughed and ran over towards the kids. Grabbing the stick from Jack and grabbing a marshmallow, you stuck it on your stick and placed it above the fire,

After about 2 minutes it turned into a golden gooey mess. You quickly grabbed it and shoved it in your mouth. You looked over at Miko, whose mouth was stuck from the gooeyness. You laughed and everyone had a good time.

The fire started to die down a bit. Raf and Miko fell asleep, Miko on Bulkheads shoulder and Raf in Bee's servo. Jack was leaned up against a log, his eyes heavy and slowly loosing consciousness. Arcee was next to him. Ratchet, well he was asleep against a rock a little farther away. You stood up slowly and moved over to the log tiredly. Your eyes heavy also, Stumbling over your own feet, placing your hands on the log and layed down.

You looked over towards the end of the log and Optimus was sitting there looking at you with soft optics. He chuckled a little when he saw how tired you were. Your eyes shut. Then slowly he moved his servo next to the log, he used his digit and pushed you onto his palm. He brought you up and placed you on his shoulder carefully. You opened your eyes and adjusted yourself on his shoulder, he raised his servo, spinning a digit and made a circle in the air. Indicating that the little bon Fire was over. The other bots except ratchet nodded and slowly got up, carefully. Arcee woke up Ratchet and then walked over to Jack quietly, and scooped him up bridal style. Then Optimus started to move. Walking on the fire, making sure it was fully out. Then going back into base.

Arcee set Jack carefully on the couch and covered him with a blanket, then she went to her berthroom. Bulkhead and Bee went to their berth room with Miko and Raf, and Optimus walked slowly to his, carefully not to wake you up. He opened his door and walked to his berth. He gently picked you up from his shoulder and he adjusts himself on the berth then placed you on his chassis. Feeling the warmth and the hum of his spark made you smile. He cupped his servo around you, just in case

"Thank you for that summer day" he whispered

You were still awake and heard him, you shifted your head and kissed his chassis

"Your welcome" you whispered softly
