It was a normal day so far at the N.E.S.T base in Diego Garcia, but soon, there would be some shockers.

DarkShadow, Ironhide's girlfriend, whom he was very overprotective of, was currently curled into a ball, sobbing, laying on their berth.

"Has anyone seen DarkShadow lately?" Ironhide asked, not seeing his girlfriend.

"Last Ah knew, she was in y'alls room, cryin'." Jazz stated.

"Cryin'? Fer what?" Ironhide asked.

"Dunno. She just said she didn't feel good, she vomited on the floor accidentally, and she went to your all's room crying." Sideswipe responded.

Ironhide walked in and true to their words, she was crying. "Shadow?" Ironhide asked.

DarkShadow just looked at him and continued to sob. Now, Ironhide was worried. She has been through so much trauma, so he thought it was her PTSD. He walked over and sat down next to her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Ironhide asked.

"I wanna tell you, but... you'd leave me." DarkShadow whimpered.

"No, I wouldn't." Ironhide protested.

He carefully moved her onto his lap and held her there. "Hey, now. What's goin' on, sweetspark?" Ironhide asked.

"I'm sparked..." DarkShadow admitted.

"That's great!" Ironhide grinned.

"It is?" DarkShadow asked.

"Yeah! We're gonna be parents!" Ironhide stated.

"I thought you would either leave me, or make me get an abortion." DarkShadow sniffed.

"I would never. I hate that word, 'abortion'. It just seems so...sparkless."  Ironhide stated.

"You'd leave if it was a femme, wouldn't you?" DarkShadow asked.

"Nope. I'm happy with either gender, it doesn't matter to me." Ironhide reassured. He then laid down beside her, as it was time to recharge anyways.

DarkShadow didn't lay down, but she yelped when Ironhide pulled her down beside him. "Hey, it's gonna be fine. Alright?" Ironhide comforted.

"But what if it's not? I could be a bad carrier, miscarriage, stillborn!" DarkShadow ranted.

"Hey. Shadow, it'll be fine. I don't wanna hear anymore of that negative attitude, you hear me?" Ironhide stated, being a little teasing.

"Yes, Sir." DarkShadow purred. She crawled up in his massive arms, and cuddled closer into his chest. Immediately, she fell asleep.

Ironhide chuckled softly, kissed her on her lips/dermas and on her head/helm and turned out the light.

The next morning, DarkShadow was thinking when she suddenly yelped. "Hide! You coulda warned me!" DarkShadow exclaimed, playfully slapping him on his arm.

"Great to see you too, Shadow!" Ironhide grinned. He had picked her up bridal style without her knowing, scaring the shit out of her.

Months later, DarkShadow went into labor, and she was in pain.

"IRONHIDE!"

Immediately, Ironhide picked her up bridal style, and took off running, nearly crashing through the walls.

"RATCHET!" DarkShadow yelled, just as she got another contraction.

Said medic looked up and let Ironhide in. "How far apart are your contractions?" Ratchet asked.

"About a minute, but they feel like they're getting closer!" DarkShadow whined.

"That's normal. When I tell you to, push." Ratchet stated.

Ironhide held her servo/hand in his own, offering comfort and support. "You can do it, Shadow." Ironhide soothed.

Hours later, the wailing of a newborn sparkling was heard. Ratchet took the sparkling, and cleaned it up. "You had a healthy little femme." Ratchet stated.

As Ironhide held her, he felt proudness and pride inside of him. He had a sparkling of his very own, and he had a girlfriend.

The femmeling soon stopped crying as she heard her Sire's voice and sparkbeat. Instead of crying, she started cooing adorably.

"Y'know, I might die now. She's too cute." Ironhide joked.

"She gets it from you. Her good looks come from both of us." DarkShadow teased.

Ironhide was thinking of a name when he got one. "I have a name suggestion." Ironhide stated.

"What is it?" DarkShadow hummed.

"Stormbreaker." Ironhide responded.

"I love it. Stormbreaker it is." DarkShadow agreed.
